He gave him all the fields of Ribhrag village, and then he and Skemmo Gautami rode in a chariot and went there to live. They enjoyed all the pleasures together. While he was enjoying all the pleasures with her, after some time, Skemmo Gautami became pregnant, and when the time for her to give birth came, she said, "Master, I am about to give birth, I will go to my relatives' house. She shook him with her hand and saw that he had passed away. She began to cry and was also upset because she had taken the cow without permission. After that, she cried all day, feeling unhappy, and looked around. She carried the newborn child in her arms and held the hand of the older son, and continued on. At that time, a great untimely cloud arose in the sky, and the rain filled the lakes, ponds, and wells, so that they had to cross a river. She thought, "If I cross the river with the children, I may lose myself and the children. It is better to save one child first." So, she left the older son on the riverbank and carried the younger son across the river. Then, she put the younger son on the bank as well, and went back to get the older son. When she reached the middle of the river, a fox carried away the younger son. She stood in the middle of the river, waving her hand, and calling "Kuku." The older son thought that his mother was calling him, so he jumped into the river. The riverbank was a cliff, and as soon as he fell, he died. She rushed to the shore and chased after the fox, who dropped the child and ran away. She saw that the child was dead, and crying, threw him into the river. After that, she saw that the older son was also carried away by the water, and she was very sad, crying and running over, and saw that he was also dead. She was devastated by the loss of her husband and sons.
