He said, "Mother, please don't do that. I will take you to high and low places and will not abandon you." She said, "Son, if you move all my belongings here, I will believe that you will not take me to high and low places." He said, "Mother, if that's the case, then let's leave them here." He moved the things into her house. She had two doors. He moved them in through one door, and she moved them out through the second door. When he had moved all the wealth and possessions, she also moved them away, and then she gave him her daughter. He combined the days and dates, and when he was about to take the bride, she invited all the prostitutes who were adorned with various ornaments to be guests. When he was taking the bride, they were all coming and going and dwelling there. The captain said, "Mother, are all of you women here? Is there not even one man?" She laughed. Another person secretly said in his ear, "Captain, don't you know what kind of person she is? We are all prostitutes, where would there be a man?" He said, "I have taken a prostitute. In short, I have been deceived." The daughter said, "How long will I enjoy myself with him? Please give me a Karshapana (Sanskrit Devanagari: कार्षापण, Sanskrit Romanization: kārṣāpaṇa, Literal Chinese meaning: an ancient Indian currency unit)." He said, "Good woman, all my wealth and possessions have been moved here. Where else would I have another Karshapana?" He fell fast asleep, and she wrapped him in a reed mat and threw him in the middle of the market. The next morning, when it dawned, many people living in the city came and went, waking him up. When he looked and saw himself in disgrace, his mind and mental faculties collapsed, his eyes filled with tears, and he wandered around the world's market, crossroads, and three-way intersections. Tormented by hunger, he went to the place where the laborers lived to look for food, and then he sat down. At that time, the householder Gautama was building a house and was looking for laborers. Another person brought him to the householder Gautama, and he saw him and said, "Alas, this person is very young and very tender, and he has certainly never done any work before."

He said, "Look for another." His eyes filled with tears as he looked at the face of the householder Gautama. Then the householder Gautama asked him, "Boy, whose son are you? Where did you come from? Tell me." He was pitiful and humble, and because of his suffering, his eyes filled with tears, and he spoke with difficulty, choking on his words, "Father, I am from the city called 'Stone Heap' in the north. I came here because of my past karma. If I had arrived safely, I wouldn't know where I am now. I don't even know if I will waste my time in the bardo." When he heard of his plight and words, the householder Gautama felt very sorry for him and asked, "Boy, do you know many of the people who live in Stone Heap?" He replied, "I know them." He asked again, "Boy, do you know this householder named so-and-so?" He replied, "I know him, he is my unfortunate father." The householder Gautama felt even more sorry and said, "Boy, don't be unhappy, don't cry. You will become my son-in-law, and all these possessions will be yours." He comforted him in this way, and he became happy and no longer sad. The householder Gautama relieved his fatigue with oil, food, drink, clothes and ornaments, a house, a bed, servants, and comforting words, and then said to his wife, "Good woman, your son-in-law has come. Prepare to give your daughter in marriage to him." She observed the day, date, moment, and stars, prepared everything in order, and invited her brothers, friends, and relatives, saying, "Daughter, come out." The daughter said, "Father, I cannot delay for even a moment, I must continue to search for wealth." The father said, "Child, all the wealth in the house is yours, what do you need more wealth for?" He wanted to take revenge on that prostitute, so he said, "Father, although that is so, I will not take a wife like a low-class person." She said nothing and remained silent. He came out of the garbage heap, wandered around, went to the riverbank, and pulled a corpse out of the river. A crow was sitting on the riverbank, wanting to eat the corpse, but its beak could not reach it. So he sharpened his beak on a small branch.
