If one takes something that is not given and is called stealing, how much is taken that is not given? Therefore, whether it is the king or a minister, having caught, killed, bound, or expelled, one says to her, 'Hey, you are a thief!' 'Ignorant one!' 'Foolish one!' If one persists and acts in such a situation, as soon as she persists and acts, she is no longer a bhikṣuṇī, no longer a śrāmaṇerikā, no longer a daughter of the Śākya clan. From then on, it is the same as before, connecting up to 'Be mindful, be cautious, and strive.' Should one not act in such a situation? One should say that she does not act. Listen, you who are called 'this'! The Blessed One has condemned killing in many ways. He praises the abandonment of killing, causes others to praise it, extols it, and proclaims it. Therefore, listen, you who are called 'this'! From now on, even if you do not intentionally kill living beings such as ants and mosquitoes, what need is there to mention humans or those who have become human? The Blessed One said, 'Whatever bhikṣuṇī, whether it is a human or one who has become human, intentionally kills with her own hand, or gives him a weapon, or seeks someone to take up a weapon, or urges him to die, or praises the virtues of death, and says to him, 'Hey, what is the use of living miserably in such a sinful and impure way? Hey, man, it is better to die than to live.' Thinking this in her mind, persisting in her mind, urging him to die in various ways, or praising the virtues of death, and that person dies by such means.' In such a situation, if a bhikṣuṇī persists and acts, as soon as she persists and acts, she is no longer a bhikṣuṇī, no longer a śrāmaṇerikā, no longer a daughter of the Śākya clan, and she loses the status of a bhikṣuṇī. From then on, it is the same as before, connecting up to 'Remember, be cautious, and strive.' Should one not act in such a situation? One should say that she does not act. Listen, you who are called 'this'! Speaking falsehood is condemned by the Blessed One in many ways. He praises the abandonment of falsehood, causes others to praise it, extols it, and proclaims it. Therefore, listen, you who are called 'this'! Playing in childhood

Therefore, even for her sake, one should not speak intentional lies. What need is there to speak falsely about the Dharma of the Teacher of Men, when it is actually non-existent and completely non-existent? The Blessed One said: Furthermore, any Bhikshuni who does not actually know, does not completely know, and does not have, completely does not have, yet says that she has understood, seen, or touched the attainment of the Dharma of the Teacher of Men, the excellence of the Noble Ones. If someone knows separately, saying, "I know this," "I see this," then what does she know? She knows suffering, the arising, cessation, and path of suffering. What does she see? She sees gods, nagas, yakshas, garudas, gandharvas, kinnaras, mahoragas, rakshasas, pretas, kumbhandas, and decaying bodies. The gods also see me, the nagas, yakshas, garudas, gandharvas, kinnaras, mahoragas, rakshasas, pretas, kumbhandas, and decaying bodies also see me. The sounds of the gods are heard, the sounds of nagas, yakshas, garudas, gandharvas, kinnaras, mahoragas, rakshasas, pretas, kumbhandas, and decaying bodies are heard. The gods also hear my voice, the nagas, yakshas, garudas, gandharvas, kinnaras, mahoragas, rakshasas, pretas, kumbhandas, and decaying bodies also hear my voice. One goes to see the gods, one goes to see the nagas, yakshas, garudas, gandharvas, kinnaras, mahoragas, rakshasas, pretas, kumbhandas, and decaying bodies. The gods also come to see me, the nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, rakshasas, pretas, kumbhandas, and decaying bodies also come to see me. One speaks together with the gods, speaks completely, makes each one happy, and always dwells together. Like this, without having attained, one says, "I have attained the perception of impermanence," and perceives suffering in impermanence, perceives no-self in suffering, perceives dislike in food, perceives displeasure in all the world, perceives it as a realm of fault, perceives it as something to be abandoned, perceives it as detachment, perceives it as cessation, perceives it as death, perceives it as impurity, perceives it as blue-green, perceives it as festering, perceives it as decaying, perceives it as worm-eaten, perceives it as swollen, perceives it as eaten, perceives it as blood-smeared, perceives it as scattered, perceives it as a heap of bones, and individually realizes emptiness. Without having attained, one says, "I have attained the first dhyana, the second dhyana, the third dhyana, the fourth dhyana, loving-kindness, compassion, joy, equanimity, the sphere of infinite space, the sphere of infinite consciousness, the sphere of nothingness, and the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception." Without having attained, one says, "I have attained the fruit of stream-entry, the fruit of once-returning, the fruit of non-returning, the realm of magical power, the ear of magical power, knowing the minds of others, past lives, death, birth, the exhaustion of outflows, the Arhat, and meditating on the eight liberations," and liberation from the two parts.
