In this way, he felt disgusted with the king's consort and engaged with the king's father's consort, who was called "this." The king's peacock was also eaten by her. She also treated those who came from other places with hospitality and provided everything they needed. The king always said to me, "The Great Physician (referring to the Medicine Buddha) is more disgusting than all of this! There is nothing more pleasing than this." Since this is the case, you should know that she does things that should not be done." After saying this, the king, in order to investigate those matters, ordered the executioners to kill him. Then, those evil people put garlands of karavira flowers around his neck, beat drums like the braying of donkeys, abused him with harsh words, threatened him, and punished him. Those evil people, holding weapons and like messengers of Yama, led him to the cemetery, but no one was willing to kill him. The people of the city and the countryside shed tears from their eyes, and like losing their own children, they were in pain, making miserable sounds, and praying to the gods. After some time J01,Vo11,Po67B, the Great Physician treated the poor royal families with hospitality and distributed wealth to them. Those people said to the king's people, "We have killed him, you go back." Vinaya-ksudraka-vastu, Volume Thirty-Four. After some time, he came out of the city, and a Brahmin named Mongtun grabbed the hem of his garment and said, "Give me the bushel of barley that you promised me, and then go!" The Great Physician spoke in verse there: The king will not become a friend, the untouchable has no companion, do not tell secrets to women, do not eat peacock meat, Brahmin Mongtun, not even a bushel of barley will I give you. After saying these words, he left. Then, the executioners said, "Great Physician, are you wise, and if your wisdom is perfect, are you willing to be killed?" The Great Physician said, "I am not a foolish person, but what is the use of that?" They said, "The gods are not foolish people, but I am exhausted by suffering, so I must speak of my need." What is that? They said, "The saying 'The king will not become a friend' is profound." He said.

I said, "O deity, I beseech you to listen for a moment. What I said, 'A king will not become a friend,' refers to the fact that in the past, the city of the gods, or cities, or towns, had no power over anything. Why did you say that? You did not understand the meaning of what was said. Those are all in the past. For the prosperity of the king, please repeatedly bestow the most excellent medicine." So I said. Then the king summoned and asked, "Compared to having food, drink, and ornaments, and the deity now possessing the king who rules the land, the throne, the army, wealth, and troops, if I were to do such a thing, would you not think that I would retaliate for what you did before, but instead be killed by the deity? That is why I say, 'A king will not become a friend.' As for saying, 'The poor have no friends,' it is because the deity is destitute, without bed and clothes. If the king were to give me the necessities of life, I thought he would support me, so I went to the deity, but the deity did not fully accept me. I thought I was a poor person, or a wanderer, so I made a distribution, and now I have become happy like this. Now you have come to kill me, so that is why I say, 'The poor have no friends.' As for saying, 'Do not tell secrets to women,' it is because the king once sat among his courtiers and said, 'How should one trust anyone?' At that time, the ministers said that one should trust one's father, mother, sisters, and relatives, etc. The deity also said that one should tell one's wife, because the wife is half of the body, so one should tell her. After that, I thought, I should report this matter to the deity. In order to test him, I hid the king's peacock and took another peacock and offered it to him. From the ornaments, I found an ornament and put it around the neck of a certain prostitute, and put her in the house, and asked the deity to look at that prostitute as well. After that, the king summoned me, put the ornaments and the prostitute together, and watched them together.
