The great physician said to the messenger, "Please do not forget my request to the king. We villagers are rough, unskilled, and foolish, and do not understand. If the king is to command, if he is to hang something, please hang a cubit-long image and send it to me. I will look at it from that image, and even if a hundred or a thousand times more is hung, it will be effective, so please send it to me." The messenger left and said to the king, "The divine physician says this." The king said, "Is this person saying 'who' or 'son'?" The messenger replied, "The divine physician, the young man, says this." Then the king was surprised and thought, "This is indeed indicated by the gods. This person will surely make my kingdom prosper." Later, after some time, the king wanted to test the great physician, so he sent a messenger to the town in the rocky mountains of Pūrṇakaccha, to the presence of "who," and conveyed the message, "Cook rice that is not pounded by a pestle, nor broken into pieces, neither inside the house, nor outside, neither with fire, nor without fire.
