Some stood, some walked, some sat, and some lay down. Just as even young children could see the Buddha's body without obstruction, so too was it blessed. Having seen that miracle, King Prasenajit of Kosala, along with the queen's retinue, the young people, the ministers, and the people of the palace retinue, as well as hundreds of thousands of beings who had come from various places, and hundreds of thousands of gods in the sky, gazed unblinkingly at the great miracle of the Bhagavan and prostrated continuously. The gods dwelling in the sky also beat drums. In every place, great drums were beaten, conch shells were blown, and various kinds of musical sounds were produced. Some sang, and some danced. Beings belonging to the animal realm also felt joy and uttered various sounds similar to their own kind, such as: horses neighing, elephants roaring, cows mooing, bulls calling, and peacocks singing. Gods and humans and other beings felt joy and great joy, and were eager to make offerings to the Bhagavan. Then the gods scattered heavenly flowers such as lotuses (Sanskrit: utpala), lotuses (Sanskrit: padma), water lilies (Sanskrit: kumuda), white lotuses, and mandarava flowers. They also scattered heavenly agarwood powder, Chinese incense powder, sandalwood powder, and heavenly garments. The same was true between humans and non-humans. During such a great festival, in order for the beings to be tamed to realize, the Bhagavan himself spoke these verses: Strive on, renounce, endeavor in the Buddha's teachings. Like an elephant destroying a reed house, destroy the army of the Lord of Death. Whoever in this Dharma and Discipline, lives diligently, will completely abandon the cycle of birth, and will end suffering. The remaining emanation Buddhas also simultaneously spoke these verses: As long as the sun has not risen, the firefly is bright. When the sun rises in the sky, it becomes dim and no longer bright.

Thus, until the Tathagata appears. The logicians were clear beforehand, the perfectly enlightened one appears in the world. Those whose logic is unclear are not his disciples. Then, the Blessed One said to the monks: "Monks, the great miracle will disappear, take the mark as a sign." As soon as the Blessed One said this, he disappeared in an instant. After he disappeared, King Pasenadi of Kosala said to the heretics: "Gentlemen, the Blessed One has already shown the supreme miracle of human Dharma, now it is your turn to show it." Then, Good Protector Purana did not speak, and passed the buck to the wandering Ajivaka. He also passed it on to the son of the daughter who could speak, the victor. He also passed it on to the invincible Kasyapa. He also passed it on to Katyayana's son with a topknot. He also passed it on to the naked Nirgrantha's son. He also passed it on to Good Protector Purana, and no one spoke. When the king spoke to them in this way two or three times, they passed the buck to each other and remained silent. The country became a country, the withering became withering, They hung their heads, lost their confidence, and sat with their hearts depressed. Then, Vajrapani Yaksha thought: These foolish people have long harbored malice towards the Blessed One, so I should find a way to make them run away. He thought: By what means can the hall of miracles not fall into their eyes, and send down such a storm. Then, some people were frightened and hid in the mountains, some hid in the grass, some hid in the dense forest, some hid in the hall, and some hid in the temple. The Blessed One, dwelling in his own great miracle hall, spoke the verses: "People frightened by fear mostly run to, mountains and forests and jungles, Gardens, trees, and stupas, seek refuge as a refuge. But that refuge is not ultimate, they are not the most supreme, Relying on that refuge cannot escape, the root of all suffering."

From all sufferings, one is well liberated. Whoever, whenever, to the Buddha and, To the Dharma and Sangha goes for refuge, The four noble truths of the Aryas, Suffering, the arising of suffering, And the true cessation of suffering, To the blissful state of Nirvana, The eightfold noble path, If one contemplates with wisdom, Those refuges are the chief, Those refuges are the supreme, Relying on those refuges, From all sufferings, one is well liberated. Then, the Bhagavan, understanding the thoughts, predispositions, elements, and nature of that assembly, and relying on that, taught the Dharma in such a way that whoever heard it would cause many hundreds of thousands of sentient beings to obtain great distinctions. Some directly realized the fruit of stream-entry, some the fruit of once-returner, some the fruit of non-returner, and some, having abandoned all afflictions, directly realized the state of Arhat. Some generated the mind of enlightenment for the Bodhi of the Hearers. Some for the Bodhi of the Solitary Buddhas. Some generated the mind of enlightenment for the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete Bodhi, and that assembly was mostly established in entering the Buddha, entering the Dharma, and entering the Sangha. Then, the Bhagavan thoroughly instructed those assemblies with the words of the Dharma, caused them to thoroughly receive it, thoroughly praised them, thoroughly delighted them, and arose from the seat and departed. Then, the disciples of Light-Protected Perfect-Doer asked: Teacher, what is that true nature? Please tell us. He said to some of those disciples: Son, this world is permanent, this is the true nature. To others, he said: Impermanent. To others, he said: Permanent and permanent, impermanent and impermanent. To others, he said: Neither permanent nor impermanent. To others, he said: There is an end. There is no end. There is an end and there is no end. Neither is there an end nor is there no end. Life is the body. Life is other and the body is other. The Tathagata exists after death. Does not exist. Exists and exists, does not exist and does not exist. The Tathagata after death neither exists nor does not exist.
