When those non-Buddhists were unhappily leaving, the monks petitioned the Blessed One. The Blessed One instructed: Therefore, any wise monk should teach the rituals of food and medicine, and should not regret this. The setting of the story is in Shravasti J01,Vo11,Po34B. When the Blessed One displayed great miracles, the non-Buddhists were subdued, the gods and humans were all very happy, and the excellent individuals were satisfied. At that time, non-humans residing in different places came to Shravasti from villages, towns, suburbs, royal palaces, and other worlds. Gods, nagas, yakshas, King Prasenajit of Kosala, Queen Mallika, the royal family's Summer Increase Mother, Physician Righteous Life, the elders, Deer-Holder Mother Saga, and many other faithful ones, came to Shravasti, where they completely satisfied the multitude of people with abundant wealth and respectful offerings. The Vinayavastu-kshudrakavastu, Volume Thirty-One. Seeing such excellent prosperity, some non-humans immediately felt very happy. Some returned to their own homelands. Those who felt very happy there, when their minds were completely entangled by intense desire, transformed themselves into the likeness of women whose husbands had gone out to seek profit, and enjoyed pleasure with them. Thereafter, the children born from those women, whether boys or girls, were born with unsightly hands, feet, eyes, and bodies. Some were black with red eyes; some had large heads and small bodies; some had yellow hair; some had green hair. When the mothers saw these children, they were frightened and threw them in the corners of the house or in the bushes, and then nourished them with the radiance of non-humans. Some were born with unclear human forms, and when they grew up, they would show changes. These children were also thrown by their mothers on the side of the main road.

And also nourishes with the splendor of non-humans. The usual conduct of the six groups is that as many as those who ordain and receive full ordination, as long as they do not know the usual conduct of bad behavior, they live together. When they fully know, they live together with the naturally abiding monks, otherwise they go according to the teacher's command in the three times. For a while, the venerable Nanda, early in the morning, put on his robes, took his bowl and Dharma robes, and went to Shravasti for alms. As he was walking for alms, he saw a person with green hair on the street, and he thought: This person will not be robbed by those with black bowls, if he can be ordained, I will ordain him, thinking this, he went to him and asked: Handsome one, who are you? He said: Holy one, I have no one, I am a helpless person. He said: Handsome one, if that is the case, why don't you become a monk? He said: Holy one, who would ordain me, a green-haired person? Handsome one, the Buddha's teaching is opened up with compassion, if no one ordains you, come here, I will ordain you, and as soon as he said that, he felt happy and went to Jeta Grove, and he ordained him and gave him full ordination. After that, in not too many days, he learned the Dharmas that should be practiced regularly, and admonished: Handsome one, deer do not feed deer, Shravasti is its own vast realm, and also the father's land, so live by begging, the man was unhappy, and the next day early in the morning he put on his robes, took his Dharma robes and bowl, and went to Shravasti for alms. After a while, a woman came out with alms, and when he saw her, he beat his chest and said: Holy one, you green-haired person, who ordained you? He said: Sister, it was Khenpo Nanda who ordained me with compassion. She said: Who else but that person of bad conduct would ruin the Buddha's completely beautiful teaching?

In Po35B, they mocked, saying: Unbelievers in the streets, at the crossroads, and at the junctions said that the ascetic practice of the sons of Shakya was false, and the practice of Brahma was also false. Now they even ordain those with green hair. When they spoke these unpleasant words, the monks reported to the Bhagavan. The Bhagavan thought: Whatever small fault occurs is because the monks also ordain such people. Therefore, monks should not ordain such people. Thinking this, the Bhagavan said to the monks: Monks, the ridicule of Brahmins and householders has befallen us. Therefore, monks should not associate with a community that displeases the Sangha. If a monk associates with a community that displeases the Sangha, he will commit a serious offense. After the Bhagavan said that monks should not associate with a community that displeases the Sangha, the monks did not know what kind of community displeases the Sangha. The Bhagavan said: Monks, there are two reasons why a community displeases the Sangha: if someone knows, it is lineage and appearance. Among them, lineage refers to any lineage, that is, base, inferior, poor, miserly, destitute, without much food and drink. If the monks ordain those who are born from such lineages, that is the reason of lineage. What is appearance like? Hair is yellow and green, similarly, hair is red and white, and people with hair like elephants and without hair, such people, the great sage has abandoned. Swollen heads and elephant heads, heads that are pointed and flat, donkey and pig heads, and anyone with two heads, such people, the great sage has abandoned. Elephant ears and horse ears, cow ears and monkey ears, donkey and pig ears, one ear and no ears, such people, the great sage has abandoned.
