He does not think about where there is nothing. Katyayana's son, truly seeing the cessation of the world with correct wisdom, does not think about where there is anything in the world. Katyayana's son, the Tathagata, not relying on those two extremes, teaches the Dharma to the world through the Middle Way, that is, this arises because this exists, this is born because this is born. This means, conditioned by ignorance, there is action; conditioned by action, there is consciousness; conditioned by consciousness, there is name and form; conditioned by name and form, there are six sense sources; conditioned by six sense sources, there is contact; conditioned by contact, there is feeling; conditioned by feeling, there is craving; conditioned by craving, there is grasping; conditioned by grasping, there is becoming; conditioned by becoming, there is birth; conditioned by birth, there is age and death, as well as sorrow, lamentation, pain, distress, and agitation arise. Thus, only this great mass of suffering arises completely. This means, because this does not exist, that does not arise; because this ceases, that ceases. This means, because ignorance ceases, action ceases; because action ceases, consciousness ceases; because consciousness ceases, name and form cease; because name and form cease, the six sense sources cease; because the six sense sources cease, contact ceases; because contact ceases, feeling ceases; because feeling ceases, craving ceases; because craving ceases, grasping ceases; because grasping ceases, becoming ceases; because becoming ceases, birth ceases; because birth ceases, age and death, as well as sorrow, lamentation, pain, distress, and agitation cease. Thus, only this great mass of suffering ceases. Then, the venerable Katyayana's son saw the truth, understood this five-part wheel of samsara, moving and unmoving, and understood that all conditioned phenomena are destroyed, fall, separate, and are destroyed by their very nature, and having abandoned all defilements, directly realized the state of an Arhat. The Arhat is free from the desire of the three realms, his mind is equal to gold and dung, like the sky and the palm of the hand, like sandalwood and an axe.

Having destroyed the shell of ignorance with wisdom, having obtained individual correct knowledge with direct knowledge, being attached to existence and gain, turning away from respect, being worshiped, remembered, and respectfully praised by the gods and their attendants. The Blessed One called him Kātyāyana's son and summoned him, so his name became known as Great Kātyāyana's son. At another time, in the holy land, a man appeared who measured with baskets and baskets, and King Tumporab Snang, along with his queen's retinue, youths, ministers, and palace attendants, were all held captive in his mind. Then some said: 'Please pacify the gods!' Others said: 'Do not seek Brahmins!' Some said: 'Seek any ascetic or Brahmin who dwells near the gods, who is revered as being of good essence!' King Tumporab Snang commanded the gatekeepers: 'Wise ones, whoever among the ascetics or Brahmins can pacify the plague disease, bring him to me!' In such a situation, the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, have no lack of knowledge, no lack of sight, no lack of awareness, and not even a little lack of complete knowledge. The Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, possess great compassion, are engaged in benefiting the world, are the sole protectors, the sole heroes, incomparable, do not speak in two ways, abide in tranquility and insight, are skilled in the three objects of taming, have crossed the four rivers, the four miraculous legs are well established on the soles of their feet, are long accustomed to the four objects of gathering, have abandoned the five limbs, have completely transcended the five realms of existence, possess six limbs, have perfected the six perfections, are rich with the flowers of the seven branches of enlightenment, teach the noble eightfold path, are skilled in the nine successive abidings, possess the power of the ten strengths, Whose fame pervades the ten directions, who are distinguished by mastery over hundreds of thousands, by their very nature, three times during the day and three times during the night, they observe the world with the Buddha's eye, who is declining, who is
