Therefore, she distinguished the order of nuns with tools such as needles and knives. That girl, seeing this as beautiful, developed faith and said to her father: "Father, I too shall distinguish the order of nuns with something." That householder said: "Daughter, it is good, distinguish them in that way." She distinguished the order of nuns with the differences in tools such as needles, knives, gold, and brass. With great joy, she prostrated at the feet of the elder and made a prayer: "With this root of virtue from generating the mind of enlightenment and completely giving away the Dharma to be given, may I become great in wisdom and great in courage, and may I be able to retain what I have heard." Monks, what do you think? That daughter of the householder is none other than this nun Chandra. She distinguished the order of nuns of the Fully Awakened Buddha Vipashyin with the differences in tools such as needles, knives, gold, and brass, and prayed: "With this root of virtue from generating the mind and completely giving away the Dharma to be given, may I become great in wisdom and great in courage, and may I be able to retain what I have heard." Due to the maturation of her karma, she is now great in wisdom and great in courage, and she is able to retain what she has heard. Furthermore, she became ordained in the teachings of the Blessed One Kashyapa, and although she practiced celibacy there for one lifetime, she did not attain any accumulation of qualities. The preceptor from whom she became ordained was declared by the Blessed One, the Fully Awakened Buddha Kashyapa, to be the foremost in retaining what he had heard. At that time, she thought: "I practiced celibacy for one lifetime in the presence of the Blessed One, the Fully Awakened Buddha, the unsurpassed field of merit, Kashyapa, but I did not attain any accumulation of qualities. May I, with this root of virtue, when the Fully Awakened Buddha Kashyapa said to the Brahmin boy named Uttara: 'Brahmin boy, when you live to be a hundred years old, the Thus-Gone One, the Foe Destroyer, the Fully Awakened Buddha Shakyamuni'

The teaching that was prophesied to "become ra," after I renounced, having abandoned all defilements, and directly realized the state of an Arhat. Just as my preceptor, the Bhagavan, the perfectly complete Buddha Kashyapa, was declared the foremost in upholding the precepts, may I also, like the Bhagavan Shakyamuni Buddha, the chief of the Shakya kings, be declared the foremost in upholding the precepts, thus I made a prayer. By the power of that prayer, now the Tathagata is declared the foremost in upholding the precepts. Therefore, monks, the ripening of completely black deeds is also completely black, and the ripening of completely white deeds is also completely white, from this point onward, one should strive diligently. Monks, you should train in this way, up to this point it is the same as before. The Buddha Bhagavan was dwelling in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove of Prince Jeta, in the Garden of Anathapindika. At that time, a young monk, together with another monk, went wandering and arrived in Shravasti, and that monk went to the Deer Mother's Mansion. That young man also went to the Jeta Grove, and having settled down with a monk, he stayed there with him for a while and said: I have left my bowl and robes in a certain great temple, I will go and get them and return. The monk said: Boy, go and come back quickly! He said: Teacher, what shall I do there? I will come back quickly, and after prostrating at his feet, he left and gradually arrived at that temple. Not long after, the Sangha had made a rule that no one could stay in that temple, not even for one night. According to the rule, he settled down with a monk and slept that night. In the morning, he thought: I will go and see that teacher, and thinking this, he went to his dwelling, knocked on the door, and prostrated to the teacher. He asked: Are you well? He replied: Child, I am sick, not well. He thought: It is not my way to abandon a sick teacher and leave, and the Bhagavan has also established this for the sake of caring for one another and settling down to care for the sick.

Having been permitted, he thought to serve him and leave after he recovered. He served him and he recovered. He said, 'Teacher, please be aware.' He said, 'Child, don't you feel a little unwell?' The teacher is not at all unwell, but I am not here to stay, but to take the Dharma robes and bowl that I left behind, because the Sangha has established a rule that one cannot stay even for one night without a place to stay. Therefore, I arranged a place to stay according to the rules. After you became ill, I thought, 'It is not my way to abandon the teacher and leave.' The Blessed One has also allowed us to take care of each other and to arrange a place to stay in order to serve the sick, so I thought to serve him and leave after he recovered. Now that you have recovered, please be aware.' The venerable one said, 'Good, good! As you entered, so you should stay together, and the attendants should serve the Khenpo and the Acharya.' Staying together, and the attendants serving the Khenpo and the Acharya in that way, just as a lotus arises from the water, so the virtuous Dharma will increase. Noble person, be careful and go!' He prostrated to him and gradually went to Jeta Grove. His Acharya saw him and said, 'Venerable one, it is good that you have come! Why did it take you so long to come?' He told him what had happened. He said, 'Venerable one, good, good! As you entered, so you should stay, and the attendants should serve the Khenpo and the Acharya.' If you serve in that way, just as a lotus arises from the water, so the virtuous Dharma will increase.' That monk felt remorse and thought, 'Is this place enough? Or should I give another?' So he said to the monks at that time. The monks reported to the Blessed One. The Blessed One said, 'Monks, he has only temporarily arranged a place to stay. Therefore, that place is enough, and not another.' Buddha, the Blessed One.
