Ananda replied: Venerable, it is because Black Delight took its radish. The Bhagavat thought: This non-human is crying because of such attachment. If it does not get the radish, it will vomit blood and die. This place exists. Thinking this, the Bhagavat said to the Venerable Ananda: Ananda, go and give the radish to the monk Black Delight, so that this non-human can get it. If this non-human does not get the radish, it will surely be eaten by ghosts, vomit blood, and die. When you give it, you should also say: Go forward! When you reach the cemetery, you should also say: Lie down! When you lie down, cover it. Do this! The Venerable Ananda replied: Venerable, I understand. The Venerable Ananda listened to the Buddha's teachings and went to the place where the Venerable Black Delight was. After arriving, he said these words to the Venerable Black Delight: Venerable Black Delight, know that the Bhagavat said: Give the radish to this non-human! If this non-human does not get the radish, it will surely be eaten by ghosts, vomit blood, and die. When you give it, you should also say: Go forward! When you reach the cemetery, you should also say: Lie down!
