Therefore, it is certain that I have become such a situation. Therefore, if the Blessed One accepts alms from me, I will offer it to the Blessed One." Thinking so. In such a situation, the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, have nothing that they do not know, nothing that they do not see, nothing that they do not understand, and nothing that they do not fully understand. For the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, from "Dharmata" to "ripening into fruition for sentient beings," it is the same as before. Then, in order to accept her, the Blessed One took the alms bowl and said, "Sister, if you are willing to give, give me this alms bowl." She offered the alms to the Blessed One with great devotion, and prostrated to his feet, making a vow, "May I, by this root of virtue, not become a slave and a poor person." How long? Her father's friend, a Brahmin fortune teller, saw her and said, "Daughter, where did you come from? From that mountain rock. Who do you live with?" She said, "I live where my fortune is small, I have been made a slave of the Greatly Renowned One." Where did your father go? He died. Where did your mother and brothers go? I do not know where they are. Moon, you are not fit to be a slave, stretch out your hand and let me see." She stretched out her hand, and he looked at it, and said in verse, "Whose palms have the mark of an iron wheel, even if born as a slave, will be chosen as a queen. Whose face is full, like the voice of the swan king, even if born as a slave, will be chosen as a queen. Whose soles have cities, palaces, and stables, even if born as a slave, will be chosen as a queen." Do not be unhappy, go, you will not become a slave, you will become a queen. She went from there to the garden, and King Bright King of Kosala lost his way on the mountain, the horse ran away, and he went alone to the place of the Shakyas. He wandered around there, went to the hermitage of the Greatly Renowned One, and she

Then he asked her, "Girl, whose garden is this?" She said, "It belongs to the great Shakya king." He dismounted from his horse and said, "Girl, wash my feet, fetch some water." She went to the pond very quickly and took water that had been warmed by the sunlight. After he washed his feet, he sat for a moment and said, "Girl, fetch water to wash my face." She cleared the surface of the water with her hand and took water that was neither too hot nor too cold, and he washed his face. He then said, "Girl, I need to drink, fetch some water." She clarified the water and took cool water in a leaf container. After the king drank, he said, "Girl, are there three ponds in this garden? Why did you bring three different kinds of water?" She said, "Lord, there is only one pond here, not three." He said, "Then where did you get these three different kinds of water?" She told him what had happened, and the king said, "Oh, I see. I should ask her, why did you bring three different kinds of water?" She said, "Lord, the first warm water I brought was to relieve fatigue. The water that was neither too hot nor too cold was to avoid harming the eyes with water that was too hot or too cold. The very cool water that I clarified and brought was to quench your thirst." He thought, "This girl is truly wise!" Realizing this, he said, "Girl, you are wise and virtuous, I need a foot massage, rest for a while." She massaged his feet, and because he felt comfortable, he fell asleep immediately after the massage. After he fell asleep, she thought, "This king has many enemies, and if someone harms him while he is asleep, it will surely affect my master, so I should close the door." Thinking this, she closed the door and sat there. After a while, a noisy sound was heard, and the four divisions of the army gathered in the garden, and they said, "Open the door!" She did not open the door, and the king was awakened by the noisy sound.

He said: Daughter, what is that? She said: O God, some people are saying to open the water gate, and they are also mentioning the name of the god. He said: Daughter, who closed this gate? O God, I closed it. Why did you close it? O God, I thought that these kings have many enemies, and if someone harms them while they are asleep, it will surely damage my master's reputation. Thinking that for this reason I closed the water gate. He said: Wise daughter, I will ask you this question, tell me for a moment, what are you to the great king? She said: I am a servant who does his bidding. You are not a servant who does his bidding, you are surely his daughter, tell me the truth. She remained silent, and the king said: Daughter, go to the great king and say that King Prasenajit is staying in your pleasure garden. She went quickly and said: Master, King Prasenajit of Kosala is staying in your pleasure garden. When Shakya Mahanama heard this, he prepared food, drink, incense, and garlands, and surrounded by many people, went to the pleasure garden. Then, they greeted each other with "Welcome!" and entertained each other with these words, making each other very happy. The king bathed, ate food, spoke some words, sat for a while, and said: Mahanama, who is this daughter to you? O God, she is a servant who does my bidding. This is not a servant who does your bidding, this is your daughter, please give her to me. He said: O God, there are other daughters of the Shakya clan who are far more excellent than her, please accept those. What do you need this one for? The king said: I need this one, please give her to me. He said: O God, if that is the case, then I will offer her to you properly. So be it. Then, Shakya Mahanama had the city decorated, and had that daughter adorned with all kinds of ornaments, mounted on an elephant, and placed in the wide roads, alleys, crossroads, and four-way intersections in the city of Kapilavastu.
