The body hangs in such a way, bound by five bonds, like being thrown into a pit of fire, experiencing great suffering, intense, rough, unbearable, unpleasant, and difficult to compare. Thus, in the mother's womb, although in pain, one does not lose memory due to the sharpness of the senses. Some who are in the mother's womb may miscarry due to the cause and condition of past karma, and feel uncomfortable in the womb. If the mother eats and drinks inappropriately, being too cold, or too hot, or too sour, or too sweet, or too bitter, or too spicy, or too astringent, or too rough, or too salty, or poisoned by drinking, or poisoned by intercourse, or suffering from many diseases, or talking too much, or being too sad, or being too attached, or falling, or being beaten, these causes will harm the body. If the body is harmed, then the fetus in the womb that depends on it will also be harmed. Therefore, when the fetus is harmed and afflicted by extreme suffering, it moves, and because of moving, it miscarries. Then, a woman who knows this, or someone skilled in caring for young children, applies lukewarm water, ghee, and sesame oil to her hands, and then inserts her hand into the hole like a toilet, which smells foul, stinks, is unbearable, dark, full of mucus, inhabited by thousands of kinds of insects, constantly dripping, needing to be cleaned regularly, dirty, with the smell of blood, pus rotting everywhere, completely rotten and decayed, slippery, very frightening to see, covered with the skin of holes, into the hole of the great bone machine, slowly, slowly stroking, and placing it in its original position. There, when stroking and lowering it with hands smeared with lukewarm water, ghee, and sesame oil, one experiences great suffering, intense, rough, unbearable, and unpleasant. Thus, he resides in the mother's womb knowingly. Then, after all his limbs have grown, in the decaying, falling, erect, unbearable, foul-smelling, odorous, dark place of urine, which is very frightening to see, soaked in feces and urine, emitting an unpleasant odor, in the door of wounds constantly dripping with blood and pus, the wind born from the maturation of previous karma causes the feet to point upwards, the head to point downwards, and the two hands to be contracted, so that the two wheels of bones oppress, completely oppress, and thoroughly oppress, and the great suffering sensations that are intense, rough, unbearable, and unpleasant cause all the limbs of the body, like flesh on a wound, all the bumpy places to turn blue, and all the senses of the body to become dull, and the extremely filthy odor of the womb causes the body to shake, and thirst causes the mouth, throat, and heart to dry up, and being unbearably situated in fear and dread, he is pushed by the wind born from the maturation of previous karma due to the power of causes and conditions, and he emerges as if with great difficulty, in some way or another. As soon as he is born, the external wind is like the touch of a strong ointment on a wound, or if touched by a hand or clothing, he will experience great suffering sensations that are intense, rough, unbearable, and unpleasant, as if cut by a sword. Although he is afflicted by such suffering, he will not lose mindfulness because of the sharpness of the senses. Thus, he is born from the mother's womb knowingly. Joyful one, thus, entering the mother's womb is also suffering, residing in it is also suffering, and coming out of the mother's womb is also suffering. Joyful one, this is manifest existence.
