断除一切烦恼，将现证阿罗汉果位，如是说。那个裸体外道是个精于算术的人，他取来白色石子进行推算，见到世尊所预言的一切都如实不虚，他心想：如果赞叹，那么这位施主将会更加信奉沙门乔达摩，因此不如在这里稍微赞叹一些，稍微诽谤一些。这样想着，他一边弯曲着手一边转动。施主甚善说道：尊者为何弯曲着手转动？他说：施主，这其中有些是真的，有些是假的。尊者，什么是真，什么是假？施主，说将会生个男孩是真的。说将会光显门楣是真的，因为“光显”是火的名字，所以这个小福报的众生一生下来，家里就会被火烧掉。说将会享受天人和人间的荣华富贵是假的，施主，你见过有人转生为人后还能享受天人和人间的荣华富贵吗？说将会在我的教法中出家是真的，当他既没有吃的，也没有穿的时候，不会被鬼吃掉，将会在沙门乔达摩那里出家。说断除一切烦恼，将现证阿罗汉果位是假的，暂且不说沙门乔达摩自己都没有断除一切烦恼的阿罗汉果位，更何况他的声闻弟子呢？施主甚善听后不高兴地说：尊者，我该如何做呢？裸体外道说：施主，我们是出家人，已经受了戒律，你自己看着办吧。说完就走了。甚善心想：这个也放弃吧，于是开始布施非药之物，由于那个众生是最后有者，所以非药之物也变成了他的药。他开始揉搓她的左腰，住在胎中的那个就到了右腰。

He thought, "If I praise him, this householder will become even more devoted to the ascetic Gautama. Therefore, I should praise him a little here, and slander him a little." Thinking this, he twisted his hand as he turned it. The householder Very Good said, "Venerable one, why do you twist your hand as you turn it?" He said, "Householder, some of this is true, and some is false." "Venerable one, what is true and what is false?" "Householder, what is said about giving birth to a son is true. What is said about making the family famous is true, because 'making famous' is the name of fire, so as soon as this being of small merit is born, the house will be burned down by fire. What is said about experiencing the glory of gods and humans is false. Householder, have you ever seen anyone who, having become a human, has experienced the glory of gods and humans? What is said about ordaining in my teaching is true. When he has nothing to eat and nothing to wear, he will not be eaten by demons, and will ordain in the presence of the ascetic Gautama. What is said about abandoning all defilements and realizing the state of an Arhat is false. For the time being, even the ascetic Gautama himself does not have the state of an Arhat who has abandoned all defilements, so what need is there to talk about his disciples?" The householder Very Good became unhappy and said, "Venerable one, what should I do about this?" The naked ascetic said, "Householder, we are renunciates, and we have taken vows, so you know for yourself." Having said this, he left. Very Good thought, "Let's abandon this too," and began to give non-medicinal things as alms. Since that being was one who would have no further existence, even the non-medicinal things became medicine for him. He began to massage her left hip, and the one dwelling in the womb went to the right hip.
