When the virtuous one began to rub her right abdomen, it moved to her left abdomen. Whatever being of the last existence, who, before obtaining the exhaustion of defilements, is interrupted in the intermediate state and dies, that is not possible, there is no opportunity. The wife of the virtuous householder began to cry because of the rubbing of her abdomen, and the neighbors, having heard, quickly went and asked: Why is the wife of the wise householder crying? The virtuous one said: I am afraid that she is about to give birth. Having said this, they left. The virtuous one thought: I cannot kill her here, I should take her to the monastery. So, he took her to the monastery, and tried in every way to make her die, but he hid her and took her home, and said to his friends, relatives, brothers, and neighbors: Wise ones, my wife is dead. They began to cry, and as they cried, they decorated the coffin with blue, yellow, red, and white cloths, and carried it to the charnel ground in the cool grove. The naked ascetics, having heard, rejoiced and were delighted, and raising umbrellas, banners, and streamers, they paraded through the main streets, alleys, crossroads, and intersections of the city of Rajagriha, saying: Wise ones, listen! The ascetic Gautama had prophesied that the wife of the virtuous householder would give birth to a son, who would illuminate the family, experience the glory of gods and humans, renounce in my doctrine, abandon all defilements, and directly realize the state of an Arhat. But now she is dead and being carried to the charnel ground in the cool grove! If a tree has no roots at all, how can one expect it to have branches, leaves, and flowers? In such a case, do the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, not know, not see, not perceive, or not fully know even a little? Not at all. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, with great compassion, enter for the benefit of the world, are the sole protectors, the sole heroes, the incomparable ones who do not speak in two ways, abide in tranquility and insight, are well-trained in the three trainings, and are the three bases of discipline.

Being skilled in the La. Having crossed the four rivers. Well established with the soles of the feet of the four miraculous legs. Having been accustomed to the four objects of collection for a long time. Not being shaken by the four fearlessnesses. Having completely abandoned the five branches. Having completely transcended the five destinies. Possessing the six branches. Having completely perfected the six perfections. Always abiding in the six. Being rich in the flowers of the seven branches of enlightenment. Showing the eightfold path. Being skilled in the nine successive abidings of meditative absorption. Possessing the power of the ten powers. Fame spreading in the ten directions. Those who are superior to those who have power over emptiness, according to the Dharma, three times during the day and three times during the night, with the Buddha's eye, they look at the world, who declines, who prospers, who becomes miserable, who falls into distress, who is harmed, who is miserable and falls into distress and is harmed, who inclines to the evil destinies, who falls into the evil destinies, who is falling into the evil destinies, who is led out of the evil destinies and placed in the heavens and liberation and fruition. Whoever has not generated roots of virtue, may they generate them. Whoever has generated them, may they fully ripen. Whoever has ripened, may they be liberated, thus the wisdom vision enters. Again it is said: The ocean where aquatic creatures dwell, may pass beyond the waves of time, but for the sons to be tamed, the Buddha does not pass beyond the time. Just as a mother looks after her beloved only child, watching and protecting its life, so the Thus-Gone One looks after the beings to be tamed, watching and protecting their lineage. Abiding in the cause of omniscience, the milk of compassion, like a cow searching for its lost calf, the sons to be tamed who wander in the difficult path of existence, the Buddha seeks them without knowing weariness. Vinaya Minor Matters, Volume Two. Then the Blessed One smiled in one direction. The Dharma is that when the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, smile, blue, yellow, red, and white rays of light come from their mouths, some go down and some go up, and those that go down shine on the Reviving Hell, the Black Line Hell, and the Crushing Hell...
