གེ་འདུན་ལ་ཕུལ་ཏེ། དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་ཁོ་བོ་ཅག་གིས་ཇི་ལྟར་འདོད་པ་བཞིན་ཟོས་སོ། །ཁྱེད་ཅི་གཏོགས་ཞེས་བྱས་པ་དང་། དེ་དག་འཕྱ་སྨོད་ཁ་ཟེར་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཐོས་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགོངས་པ། ཉེས་དམིགས་གང་ཅུང་ཟད་ཅི་བྱུང་བ་ནི་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཨ་མྲ་དག་ ཟ་བ་ལས་གྱུར་གྱིས། དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་དགེ་སློང་གིས་ཨ་མྲ་དག་བཟའ་བར་མི་བྱའོ། །དགེ་སློང་ཨ་མྲ་དག་ཟ་ན་འགལ་ཚབས་ཅན་དུ་འགྱུར་རོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགེ་སློང་གིས་ཨ་མྲ་དག་བཟའ་བར་མི་བྱའོ། །ཞེས་གསུངས་པ་དང་། བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དད་པ་ཅན་དག་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ལ་ཤིང་ས་ཧ་ཀ་རའི་ཤིང་ཏོག་དག་འབུལ་བ་ན། དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་མ་གནང་ངོ་། །དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་དག་གང་གི་ཚེ་སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་འཇིག་རྟེན་དུ་བྱུང་བར་མ་གྱུར་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། འཇིག་རྟེན་འདི་ནས་འཇིག་རྟེན་ཕ་རོལ་དུ་འགྲོའམ། བཞེས་ཤིག་ཅེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་སྔ་མ་བཞིན་ནོ། །སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཐོས་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་གནང་གིས་མཚན་ཉིད་གྲུབ་པ་ཡིན་ནོ་ཞེས་བྱས་ནས་བཟའ་བར་བྱ་སྟེ། འདི་ལ་འགྱོད་པར་མི་བྱའོ། །དེ་ལ་མཚན་ཉིད་གྲུབ་པ་ནི་འདི་དག་ཡིན་ཏེ། ཚིག་གུ་ཆགས་པ་རྣམས་སོ། །བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དད་པ་ཅན་གཞན་དག་ཅིག །དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ལ་ཨ་མྲའི་ཤིང་ཐོག་སྨིན་པ་དག་འབུལ་བ་ན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། དེ་བཞིན་དུ་འཇིག་རྟེན་འདི་ནས་འཇིག་རྟེན་ཕ་རོལ་དུ་མཆིའམ། བཞེས་ཤིག་ཅེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་ཐམས་ཅད་སྔ་མ་བཞིན་ནོ། །སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་གནང་གིས་མཚན་ཉིད་བྱེ་བྲག་ཕྱེད་དོ་ཞེས་བྱས་ཏེ་བཟའ་བར་བྱའོ། །དེ་ལ་མཚན་ཉིད་བྱེ་བྲག་ཕྱེད་པ་ནི་འདི་དག་ཡིན་ཏེ། ཤ་ཞུགས་པ་རྣམས་སོ། །སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་མཉན་ཡོད་ན་རྒྱལ་བུ་རྒྱལ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཚལ་མགོན་མེད་ཟས་སྦྱིན་གྱི་ཀུན་དགའ་ར་བ་ན་བཞུགས་སོ། །མཉན་ཡོད་ན་དགེ་སློང་ནད་པ་ཞིག་སྨན་པའི་དྲུང་དུ་སོང་སྟེ། བཞིན་བཟངས་བདག་འདི་འདྲ་བའི་ནད་ཀྱིས་ཐེབས་ན་སྨན་སྟོན་ཅིག །དེས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་ཇེ་མར་འཐུང་ལ་སྣུམ་པར་གྱིས་ཤིག་དང་བཀྲུ་སྨན་སྦྱིན་ནོ། །དེས་མར་འཐུངས་ པ་དང་། སྐོམ་པས་གནོད་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །སྨན་པ་འོངས་ཏེ་དྲིས་པ། འཕ

献给僧团，因此我们如所愿地吃了。当（他们）说“你们属于什么”时，那些人就进行诽谤和辱骂。当时众比丘听到后禀告世尊，世尊思考：有什么罪过稍微发生呢？是比丘们吃了芒果的缘故。因此比丘不应吃芒果。比丘如果吃芒果，就会犯重罪。世尊说：比丘不应吃芒果。当婆罗门和有信仰的居士们向比丘们供养娑呵迦罗树的果实的时候，比丘们说：世尊没有允许。他们说：圣者们，从什么时候佛世尊没有出现在世间，直到从这个世界到那个世界去吗？像之前一样接受吧。当时众比丘听到后禀告世尊，世尊开示说：因此，通过允许而成立特征后就可以吃了，对此不应后悔。其中成立特征的是这些：有核的那些。其他一些婆罗门和有信仰的居士们，当向比丘们供养成熟的芒果时，从“这样直到从这个世界到那个世界去吗？接受吧”之间，一切都像之前一样。当时众比丘禀告世尊，世尊开示说：因此，通过允许而区分特征后就可以吃了。其中区分特征的是这些：有肉的那些。佛世尊住在舍卫城，在胜王子之园，给孤独施主的祇陀林中。在舍卫城，一个生病的比丘去到医生那里，（说）善面者，我被这样的疾病侵袭，请您治疗。医生说：圣者，请喝酥油并使其油润，然后给予泻药。他喝了酥油，然后被口渴所困扰。医生来了问道：

Having offered it to the Sangha, we ate as we wished. When (they) said, "What do you belong to?" those people would slander and revile. At that time, the monks heard this and reported it to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One considered: What fault has occurred even slightly? It is because the monks ate mangoes. Therefore, monks should not eat mangoes. If a monk eats mangoes, he will commit a serious offense. The Blessed One said: Monks should not eat mangoes. When Brahmins and faithful householders offered the fruits of the Sahakara tree to the monks, the monks said: The Blessed One has not permitted it. They said: Venerable ones, from when the Buddha, the Blessed One, did not appear in the world, until going from this world to the next? Accept it as before. At that time, the monks heard this and reported it to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One instructed: Therefore, having established the characteristic by permission, it may be eaten, and one should not regret this. Among them, those that establish the characteristic are these: those with pits. Other Brahmins and faithful householders, when offering ripe mangoes to the monks, from "Thus, until going from this world to the next? Accept it" everything is as before. At that time, the monks reported to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One instructed: Therefore, having distinguished the characteristic by permission, it may be eaten. Among them, those that distinguish the characteristic are these: those with flesh. The Buddha, the Blessed One, was staying in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove of Prince Jeta, in the Anathapindika's Park. In Shravasti, a sick monk went to a doctor, (saying) "O good-faced one, I am afflicted by such a disease, please treat me." The doctor said: "Venerable one, please drink ghee and make it oily, and then I will give you a purgative." He drank the ghee, and then he was troubled by thirst. The doctor came and asked:

གས་པ་བདེ་བར་འདུག་གམ། དེས་སྨྲས་པ། བཞིན་བཟངས་བདག་སྐོམ་པས་གནོད་དོ། །སྐྱུ་རུ་ར་ཆོངས་ཤིག་ཅེས་བྱས་པ་དང་། དེས་ལག་ཏུ་བླངས་ཏེ་འདུག་གོ །ཡང་སྨན་པས་དྲིས་པ། འཕགས་པ་སྐོམ་པ་དང་བྲལ་ལམ། དེས་སྨྲས་པ། བཞིན་བཟངས་མ་བྲལ་ལོ། །སྨན་པས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་སྐྱུ་རུ་ར་མ་བཅངས་སམ། བཞིན་བཟངས་ཡོད་དེ་འདི་ཡིན་ནོ། །འཕགས་པ་ཁར་ཆོངས་ཤིང་། །བཞིན་བཟངས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་མ་གནང་ངོ་། །འཕགས་པ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྟོན་པ་ནི་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཅན་ཡིན་པས་གནང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །སྐབས་དེ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ཁར་བཅང་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་དུའོ། །དེས་ཁར་བཅུག་ནས་འདུག་གོ །ཡང་སྨན་པ་དེ་འོངས་ནས་དྲིས་པ། འཕགས་པ་སྐོམ་པ་དང་བྲལ་ལམ། དེས་སྨྲས་པ། བཞིན་བཟངས་ད་རུང་མ་བྲལ་ལོ། །སྨན་པས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་སྐྱུ་རུ་ར་ཁར་མ་བཅངས་སམ། བཞིན་བཟངས་བཅངས་ཏེ་འདུག་པ་འདི་ཡིན་ནོ། །དེས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་མུར་ཅིག །གཞན་དུ་ན་སྐོམ་པ་དང་བྲལ་བར་མི་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེས་སྨྲས་པ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་མ་གནང་ངོ་། །འཕགས་པ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྟོན་པ་ནི་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཅན་ཡིན་པས་གནང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཐོས་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། མུར་བར་བྱའོ། །མུར་མུར་ནས་བོར་གྱི་མ་མིད་པ་དང་། སྐོམ་པས་ཇེ་གནོད་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །ཡང་སྨན་པ་འོངས་ནས་དྲིས་པ། འཕགས་པ་སྐོམ་པ་དང་བྲལ་ལམ། དེས་སྨྲས་པ། བཞིན་བཟངས་ཤིན་ཏུ་གནོད་དོ། །འཕགས་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་སྐྱུ་རུ་ར་མ་མུར་རམ། བཞིན་བཟངས་མུར་ནས་བོར་རོ། །འཕགས་པ་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་མ་མིད། བཞིན་བཟངས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དུས་མ་ཡིན་པའི་ཟས་བཀག་གོ །འཕགས་པ་ཁྱོད་ནི་ནད་པ་ཡིན་ལ། ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་སྟོན་པ་ནི་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ ཅན་ཡིན་པས་གནང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་དགེ་སློང་དག་གནང་གིས་འབྲས་བུ་ལྔ་དུས་སུ་ཡང་རུང་། དུས་མ་ཡིན་པར་ཡང་རུང་། ནད་པ་ཡང་རུང་། མི་ན་བས་ཀྱང་རུང་བཟའ་བར་བྱ་སྟེ། འདི་ལ་འགྱོད་པར་མི་བྱའོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་འབྲས་བུ་ལྔ་དུས་སུ་ཡང་རུང་། དུས་མ་ཡིན་པར་ཡང་རུང་། ནད་པ་ཡང་རུང་། མི་ན་བས་ཀྱང་རུང་སྟེ། བཟའ་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་གསུངས་པ་དང་། དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འབྲས་བུ་ལྔ་གང་དག་ཡིན་པ་མི་ཤེས་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ།

您安乐吗？ 他说： 尊者，我被口渴所困扰。 请给我一颗余甘子。 他接过余甘子拿着。 医生又问： 圣者，您解渴了吗？ 他说： 尊者，没有解渴。 医生说： 圣者，那时您没有含着余甘子吗？ 尊者，有，这就是。 圣者，含在嘴里吧。 尊者，世尊不允许。 圣者，您的导师是慈悲的，他会允许的。 从那个时候起，世尊开示说： 应该含在嘴里，直到结束。 他含在嘴里拿着。 医生又来了，问道： 圣者，您解渴了吗？ 他说： 尊者，仍然没有解渴。 医生说： 圣者，那时您没有把余甘子含在嘴里吗？ 尊者，含着拿着，就是这个。 他说： 圣者，嚼一下吧！ 否则，您不会解渴的。 他说： 世尊不允许。 圣者，您的导师是慈悲的，他会允许的。 那时，比丘们听到了，禀告了世尊。 世尊开示说： 嚼吧！ 嚼了又吐掉，没有吞下去，口渴更加严重了。 医生又来了，问道： 圣者，您解渴了吗？ 他说： 尊者，非常困扰。 圣者，那时您没有嚼余甘子吗？ 尊者，嚼了又吐掉了。 圣者，为什么不吞下去？ 尊者，世尊禁止了非时食。 圣者，您是病人，您的导师是慈悲的，他会允许的。 那时，比丘们禀告了世尊。 世尊开示说： 因此，比丘们，允许五种果实，无论何时，无论非时，无论是病人，还是没病的人，都可以食用，对此不应后悔。 世尊说，五种果实，无论何时，无论非时，无论是病人，还是没病的人，都可以食用。 比丘们不知道哪五种果实，世尊开示说：

The doctor said: Holy one, at that time, were you not holding the emblic myrobalan in your mouth? Venerable, holding it, this is it. He said: Holy one, chew it! Otherwise, you will not be free from thirst. He said: The Blessed One does not allow it. Holy one, your teacher is compassionate, he will allow it. At that time, the monks heard and reported to the Blessed One. The Blessed One instructed: Chew it! Chew it and spit it out, without swallowing, and the thirst became even more severe. Again, the doctor came and asked: Holy one, are you free from thirst? He said: Venerable, very troubled. Holy one, at that time, did you not chew the emblic myrobalan? Venerable, chewed it and spat it out. Holy one, why did you not swallow it? Venerable, the Blessed One has forbidden untimely food. Holy one, you are sick, and your teacher is compassionate, he will allow it. At that time, the monks reported to the Blessed One. The Blessed One instructed: Therefore, monks, I allow five fruits, whether in season or out of season, whether sick or not sick, to be eaten, and there should be no regret about this. The Blessed One said that five fruits, whether in season or out of season, whether sick or not sick, can be eaten. The monks did not know which five fruits they were, and the Blessed One instructed:
