བྲལ་བ་བོང་བ་དང་གསེར་དུ་མཉམ་པ། ནམ་མཁའ་དང་ལག་མཐིལ་དུ་མཚུངས་པའི་སེམས་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཙན་དན་ཞག་ལོན་པར་བཞག་པ་ལྟ་བུ་རིག་པས་སྒོ་ངའི་སྦུབས་དྲལ་བར་གྱུར་ཅིང་རིག་པ་དང་། མངོན་པར་ཤེས་པ་དང་། སོ་སོ་ཡང་དག་པར་རིག་པ་ཐོབ་པ། སྲིད་པ་དང་འདོད་པའི་རྙེད་པ་དང་། བཀུར་སྟི་ལ་རྒྱབ་ཀྱིས་ཕྱོགས་པ། དབང་པོ་དང་ཉེ་དབང་དང་བཅས་པའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་མཆོད་པར་བྱ་བ་དང་། རྗེད་པར་བྱ་བ་དང་། གུས་པར་སྨྲ་བར་བྱ་བར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །གང་གི་ཚེ་དེས་སྐད་ཀྱི་གཏང་རག་གིས་ཆོས་སྨྲས་པ། དེའི་ཚེ་ན་ཚངས་པའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་མན་ཆད་ཁྱབ་པར་གྱུར་ཅིང་སེམས་ཅན་མང་པོ་དག་གི་རྒྱུད་ལ་ཡང་ཐར་པའི་ཆ་དང་མཐུན་པའི་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་དག་སྐྱེད་པར་བྱེད་དེ། མདོར་ན་དུད་འགྲོའི་སྐྱེ་གནས་སུ་གཏོགས་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་དག་ཀྱང་སྒྲ་སྙན་པ་དེ་ལ་རྣ་བླགས་ཏེ་ཉན་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ལ་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དགེ་སློང་དག་ངའི་ཉན་ཐོས་ཀྱི་དགེ་སློང་སྐད་ཀྱི་གཏང་རག་སྙན་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ནང་ན་འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ་དགེ་སློང་སྙན་པ་བཟང་ལྡན་འདི་མཆོག་ཡིན་ནོ། །དེའི་སྐད་ཀྱི་གཏང་རག་སྙན་པ་ཡིད་དུ་འོང་བའི་སྦྱོར་བས་དགེ་སློང་འདོད་ཆགས་དང་མ་བྲལ་བ་རྣམས་རང་གི་བྱ་བ་བཏང་ནས་ཉིན་གཅིག་བཞིན་དེའི་གན་དུ་འགྲོ་བར་བྱེད་དོ། །ཇི་ཙམ་དུས་གཞན་ཞིག་ན་ཀོ་ས་ལའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་གསལ་རྒྱལ་གླང་པོ་ཆེའི་གཙོ་བོ་པད་མ་དཀར་པོ་གཅིག་པ་ལ་ཞོན་ནས་ཁ་ལོ་སྒྱུར་བ་དཔལ་འཕེལ་དང་ནམ་གྱི་ཐོ་རངས་རི་བྲགས་ཤིག་ཏུ་སོང་བའི་ཚེ་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་སྙན་པ་བཟང་ལྡན་གྱིས་ནང་པར་སྐད་ཀྱི་གཏང་རག་གིས་ཆོས་སྨྲ་བར་བརྩམས་པ་གླང་པོ་ཆེའི་གཙོ་བོ་པད་མ་དཀར་པོ་གཅིག་པས་ཐོས་སོ། །དེས་ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་སྙན་པ་བཟང་ལྡན་གྱི་སྐད་ཀྱི་གཏང་རག་ཐོས་ནས་ཀྱང་ཡང་རྣ་བ་བླགས་ཏེ་མི་གཡོ་བར་སྡོད་དོ། །ཁ་ལོ་སྒྱུར་བ་དཔལ་འཕེལ་གྱིས་ཕན་ཚུན་ནས་ལག་པ་དང་རྐང་པ་དག་གཡབས་ཏེ་བསྐྱོད་པར་བརྩམས་ཀྱང་དེ་བཞིན་མི་གཡོ་བ་དང་། རྒྱལ་པོས་སྨྲས་པ། དཔལ་འཕེལ་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་ཐོབ་ཤིག་ལྷ་བཏབ་ཀྱང་མི་མཆི་ན་འདི་རྒྱུ་གང་ལགས་མ་འཚལ་ཏོ། །རྒྱལ་པོས་སྨྲས་པ། ཞོག་ཤིག་དང་ལམ་གང་དུ་འགྲོ་བ་བལྟའོ། ། དེས་ཇི་བདེར་བཞག་པ་དང་། དེ་རྒྱལ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཚལ་ལོགས་སུ་སོང་ནས་ཁད་ཀྱིས་ཁད་ཀྱིས་རྒྱལ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཚལ་དུ་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་། རྒྱལ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཚལ་གྱི་སྒོ་ན་རྣ་བླགས་ཏེ་སྡོད་དོ། །ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་སྙན་པ་བཟང་ལྡན་གྱིས་སྐད་ཀྱི་གཏང་རག་གིས་ཆོས་དག་སྨྲས་པའི་མ

脱离贫穷与黄金等同，具有天空与手掌般平等的心，犹如放置在陈年檀香油中，以智慧破开蛋壳，获得智慧、神通和各别正知，背离权势和欲望的获得与尊敬，受到包括天神和近侍在内的诸神的供养、忆念和恭敬赞叹。当他以声音的韵律说法时，其声音遍及梵天世界以下，并在许多众生的心中播下与解脱相应的善根。总之，即使是属于畜生道的众生，也会侧耳倾听那美妙的声音。然后，世尊告诉众比丘：‘比丘们，在我的声闻比丘中，声音韵律美妙的比丘，就像这位善贤比丘一样，是最殊胜的。’他那美妙动听的声音，能让尚未脱离贪欲的比丘们放下自己的事务，每天都去他那里。在某个时候，拘萨罗国的国王巴斯那瓦吉特骑着一头名叫白莲的象王，与驯象师巴拉帕拉一同在黎明时分前往一座山岩。这时，具寿善贤开始用声音的韵律说法，象王白莲听到了。听到具寿善贤的声音后，它更加侧耳倾听，一动不动地站着。驯象师巴拉帕拉用手和脚互相拍打，试图让它前进，但它仍然一动不动。国王说：‘巴拉帕拉，即使我用鞭子抽打它，它也不动，我不知道这是什么原因。’国王说：‘先别管它，看看它要去哪里。’ 他听之任之，那象王便朝着祇陀林的方向走去，渐渐地走到了祇陀林，并在祇陀林的门口侧耳倾听。具寿善贤正以声音的韵律说法。

Having a mind that equates separation with poverty and gold, that is equal like the sky and the palm of the hand, like being placed in aged sandalwood oil, having broken the shell of the egg with wisdom, and having obtained wisdom, clairvoyance, and individual perfect knowledge, turning one's back on the gains and honors of existence and desire, being worshipped, remembered, and respectfully praised by the gods, including the powerful and their attendants. When he preached the Dharma with the melody of his voice, it pervaded even the Brahma world and below, and also caused roots of virtue that are in accordance with the elements of liberation to grow in the minds of many sentient beings. In short, even sentient beings belonging to the animal realm would listen attentively to that beautiful sound. Then, the Blessed One addressed the monks, 'Monks, among my disciples who are monks with beautiful melodies of voice, this, namely the monk Snyanpa Zangden (Good Sound), is the most excellent.' With the beautiful and pleasing melody of his voice, he causes monks who have not separated from desire to abandon their own affairs and go to him as if it were a single day. At another time, King Pasenadi of Kosala, riding on an elephant chief named White Lotus, together with the elephant driver Palapala, went to a rocky mountain at dawn, at which time the venerable Snyanpa Zangden began to preach the Dharma with the melody of his voice, which the elephant chief White Lotus heard. Having heard the melody of the venerable Snyanpa Zangden, he listened even more attentively and remained motionless. The elephant driver Palapala waved his hands and feet at each other, trying to make him move forward, but he remained motionless. The king said, 'Palapala, even if I whip the elephant, it will not move; I do not know what the reason is.' The king said, 'Leave it for now and see which way it goes.' He left it as it was, and the elephant went to the side of Jeta Grove, and gradually went to Jeta Grove, and stood listening at the gate of Jeta Grove. The venerable Snyanpa Zangden was preaching the Dharma with the melody of his voice.
