Then, Spomgamo put food in her mouth and shook her hands, and the Blessed One declared: "Do not shake your hands," and so on. Then, the group of twelve nuns were invited to a house as guests. Then, Spomgamo found some flour and shook the alms bowl, saying: "This, my alms bowl has been taken, pour some, pour some." The Blessed One declared: "Do not shake the alms bowl," and so on. Then, another householder invited the Bhikshuni Sangha to his house as guests, and he prepared a great abundance of food and drink. Among the group of twelve, there was an elderly Bhikshuni. That householder also first distributed ghee and flour to the Bhikshuni Sangha, and then the group of twelve nuns took a great amount of flour. That householder then distributed twenty-eight kinds of dishes starting from the eldest, and then that elderly renunciate observed the order of seniority. The group of twelve then threw lumps of food in front of that elderly renunciate, and said: "From me, a rain of Nula jewels has fallen." Saying this, "Are you also endowed with merit? A rain of food has fallen." The Blessed One declared: "Do not lick your hands, do not wipe the alms bowl, do not shake your hands, do not shake the alms bowl, learn to eat food with the concept of the alms bowl," and so on. Then, the group of twelve looked at the alms bowls of the Bhikshunis who were eating together, and said: "Here it is distributed more, and to us it is distributed less," and they scolded. The Blessed One declared: "If you want to scold, do not look at the alms bowls of the Bhikshunis who are eating together," and so on. Then, the group of twelve, because their hands were soiled with food, did not take the fruits of the bird mother tree, because it was soiled with food.

Then again, a householder invited the Bhikkhuni Sangha for a meal. Then, between the Sangha and the Nigantha women, there was a Bhikkhuni wearing a reddish-yellow robe. She splashed her with water used to wash the alms bowl, and they said: You wretched woman, are you the only one with a robe? Thus they scolded. The Blessed One taught: One should not splash with water soiled by food. When the water monster kills a child, relying on a mansion with white lotuses, one should not pour water soiled by food inside the house, thus it was forbidden. Permission was granted relying on another householder, one should ask the householder before pouring. Then the twelve divisions poured inside the house without asking, the Blessed One taught: Without asking the householder, one should not pour food and soiled water inside the house. In Shravasti, a Brahmin's son became mentally disturbed, he went to Shravasti, and after being touched by the water from a Bhikkhu's alms bowl, he regained his sanity. Then again, a Brahmin's son became mentally disturbed, then that Brahmin, after hearing from that Brahmin, went to the Bhikkhuni's summer retreat, asking for alms bowl water from Spondā. From then on, he filled the alms bowl with the Sangha's food scraps and gave it, that Brahmin said: It is better for my son to die, than to be defiled, saying this he did not accept it. The Blessed One taught: One should not look with the intention of scolding fellow Bhikkhunis, one should not hold a water vessel with hands soiled by food, one should not splash fellow Bhikkhunis with water soiled by food, without asking the householder one should not pour food and soiled water inside the room, one should not fill the alms bowl with food scraps and discard it, one should learn in this way.
