དང་ཆུ་ལ་བཤང་མི་བྱ། །ཤིང་ལ་མི་གང་ཙམ་མ་ཡིན། ། དེ་ནས་བཅུ་གཉིས་སྡེ་དག་འགྲེང་ནས་འཇུག་པ་ལ་ཆོས་འཆད་པར་བྱེད་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །ཇི་ཙམ་ན་ནད་པ་དག་འོངས་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ནད་པ་ལ་ཆོས་བཤད་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་འདུག་པ་དང། ཉལ་བ་ལ་ཡང་འཆད་པར་བྱེད་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། མི་ན་བ་ལ་ཆོས་བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་སྟན་དམའ་བ་ལ་འདུག་ནས། སྟན་མཐོན་པོ་ལ་འདུག་པ་ལ་ཆོས་འཆད་པར་བྱེད་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། མི་ན་བ་ལ་ཆོས་བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་དག་གི་མདུན་དུ་འགྲོ་བ་ལ་དེའི་ཕྱི་བཞིན་དུ་འབྲང་ཞིང་ཆོས་འཆད་པར་བྱེད་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། མིན་བ་ལ་ཆོས་བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་ལམ་ནས་འགྲོ་བ་ལ་ལམ་གྱི་འགྲམ་ནས་འགྲོ་ཞིང་འཆད་པར་བྱེད་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། འགྲེང་ནས་མིན་བར་འདུག་པ་ལ་འཆོས་བཤད་པར་མི་བྱ་སྟེ། ཉལ་བར་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། སྟན་དམའ་བ་ལ་འདུག་སྟེ་སྟན་མཐོན་པོ་ལ་འདུག་པ་ལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། མདུན་དུ་འགྲོ་བ་ལ་དེའི་ཕྱིར་བཞིན་འབྲང་ཞིང་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། མིན་པར་ལམ་དུ་འགྲོ་བ་ལ་ལམ་གྱི་འགྲམ་ནས་འགྲོ་ཞིང་ཆོས་མི་བཤད་པར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅུ་གཉིས་སྡེ་དག་མགོ་གཡོགས་པ་ལ་ཆོས་འཆད་པར་བྱེད་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །ཇི་ཙམ་ན་མིག་ནད་ཅན་དག་འོངས་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། མིག་ནད་ཅན་ལ་ཆོས་བཤད་པར་བྱའོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་བརྫེས་པ་ལ་ཆོས་བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ། །ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །ཇི་ཙམ་ན་ལས་མི་དག་འོངས་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བཤད་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་གཟར་བའི་བར་ལ་ཆོས་འཆད་པར་བྱེད་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། མིན་བ་ལ་ཆོས་བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །རྟ་གད་བྱེད་པའི་བར་དག་ལ་ཆོས་འཆད་པར་བྱེད་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། མི་ན་པ་ལ་ཆོས་བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །གཉའ་གོང་དུ་བསྣོལ་བའི་བར་དག་ལ་ཆོས་འཆད་པར་བྱེད་པ་ན། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །ཇི་ཙམ་ན་གཉའ་གོང་དུ་བསྣོལ་བའི་

And do not defecate in the water. Do not treat trees as you please. Then, when the twelve groups of monks were standing and entering, teaching the Dharma, the Blessed One said: 'Do not teach.' That is the end of it. When the sick people came, the Blessed One said: 'The Dharma should be taught to the sick.' That is the end of it. Similarly, when (someone) is sitting and lying down, they also teach, and the Blessed One said: 'The Dharma should not be taught to those who are not sick.' That is the end of it. Similarly, when (someone) is sitting on a low seat, teaching the Dharma to those sitting on a high seat, the Blessed One said: 'The Dharma should not be taught to those who are not sick.' That is the end of it. When walking in front of them, and following behind them and teaching the Dharma, the Blessed One said: 'The Dharma should not be taught to those who are not sick.' That is the end of it. Similarly, when walking on the road, walking from the side of the road and teaching, the Blessed One said: 'The Dharma should not be taught by someone standing to someone sitting, nor to someone lying down, nor by someone sitting on a low seat to someone sitting on a high seat, nor by someone walking in front to someone following behind, nor by someone walking on the road walking from the side of the road and teaching the Dharma, one should train in this way.' When people with eye diseases came, the Blessed One said: 'The Dharma should be taught to those with eye diseases.' Similarly, the Dharma should not be taught to those who are wearing turbans. That is the end of it. When people who are working came, the Blessed One said: 'It should be taught.' That is the end of it. Similarly, when teaching the Dharma in a sloping place, the Blessed One said: 'The Dharma should not be taught to those who are not sick.' That is the end of it. When teaching the Dharma in a place where horse manure is being cleaned, the Blessed One said: 'The Dharma should not be taught to those who are not sick.' That is the end of it.
