བར་དག་འོངས་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། མི་ན་བར་མགོ་གཡོགས་པ་ལ་ཆོས་བཤད་པར་མི་བྱ་སྟེ། བརྫེས་པ་ལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། གཟར་བ་ལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། ཕྲག་པ་གཉིས་ཀ་ལ་གཟར་བ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། མི་ན་བར་གཉའ་གོང་དུ་བསྣོལ་བ་ལ་ཆོས་མི་བཤད་པར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅུ་གཉིས་སྡེ་དག་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་ཞོན་པ་ལ་ཆོས་འཆད་པར་བྱེད་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བཤད་པར་མི་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་ཞོན་པ་དག་གཡུལ་དུ་ཆས་ནས། དེ་དག་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །འཕགས་མ་ཆོས་བཤད་དུ་གསོལ། དེ་དག་གིས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །བོབས་ཤིག་དང། ཆོས་བཤད་དོ། །དེ་དག་གིས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བདག་ཅག་འགུམ་པར་བགྱིད་པ་ཕས་ཀྱི་རྒོལ་བ་དག་རྟིང་ལ་ཐུག་ལགས་སོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ནད་པ་ཡིན་ནོ་ཞེས་བྱ་སྟེ། བཤད་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་རྟ་ཞོན་པ་དང། ཤིང་རྟར་ཞུགས་པ་ལ་ཡང་བརྗོད་པར་བྱའོ། །དེ་ནས་མིའི་ཕྲག་པ་དང། མགོ་ལ་ཞོན་ཞིང་འགྲོ་བ་ནས་ཆོས་བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །ཇི་ཙམ་ན་ནད་པར་གྱུར་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བཤད་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །ལྷམ་མཐོན་པོ་གྱོན་པའི་བར་དག་ལ་ཆོས་འཆད་པར་བྱེད་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། མི་ན་བར་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་ཞོན་པ་ལ་ཆོས་བཤད་པར་མི་བྱ་སྟེ། རྟ་ཞོན་པ་ལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། ཤིང་རྟར་ཞུགས་པ་ལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་ དང། མི་ལ་ཞོན་པ་ལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། མི་ན་བར་ལྷམ་མཐོན་པོ་གྱོན་པ་ལ་ཆོས་མི་བཤད་པར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅུ་གཉིས་སྡེ་དག་སྐྲ་དོ་ཀེར་ཅན་ལ་ཆོས་འཆད་པར་བྱེད་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །རྒྱལ་པོ་འོངས་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བཤད་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་མགོ་དཀྲིས་པ་དག་འོངས་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །ཇི་ཙམ་ན་བློན་པོ་ཆེན་པོའམ་ནད་པ་དག་འོངས་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བཤད་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་མགོ་ཕྲེང་བས་བཅིངས་པ་དག་འོངས་པ་ནས་བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ནད་པ་ལ་བཤད་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་མགོ་ཅོད་པན་གྱིས་བཅིངས་པ་དག་འོངས་པ་ནས་བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ཚོང་དཔོན་ནམ། ནད་པ་ལ་བཤད་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་དག་ཡང་ཞྭ་གྱོན་པ་དག་འོངས་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །ནད་པ་དག་འོངས་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། མིན་པར་སྐྲ་དོ་ཀེར་ཅན་ལ་ཆོས་བཤད་པར་མི་བྱ་སྟེ། མགོ་དཀྲིས་པ་ལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། མགོ་ཕྲེང་བས་བཅིངས་པ་ལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། མགོ་ཅོད་པན་གྱིས་བཅིངས་པ་ལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། མི་ན་བར་ཞྭ་གྱོན་པ་ལ་ཆོས་མི་བཤད་པར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅུ་གཉིས་སྡེ་དག་ལག་པ་ན་མཚོན་ཐོགས་པ་ལ་ཆོས་འཆད་པར་བྱེད་པ་ནས། བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །ཇི་ཙམ་ན་གཡུལ་དུ་ཆས་པའམ། ནད་པར་གྱུར་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། བཤད་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་གདུགས་ཐོགས་པའི་བར་དག་འོངས་ནས། བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ནད་པ་ལ་བཤད་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་ བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་ལག་ན་འཁར་བ་ཐོགས་པ་འོངས་ནས། བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། ཡང་ནད་པའམ། རྒས་པ་འཁར་བ་མེད་པར་འཚོ་བར་མི་ནུས་པ་ཞིག་ཡིན་ན་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དེ་དག་ལ་ཆོས་བཤད་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་ལག་ན་རལ་གྲི་ཐོགས་པ་འོངས་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། བཤད་པར་མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་གོང་མ་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་དུའོ། །དེ་བཞིན་དུ་གོ་ཆ་སྣ་ལྔ་གྱོན་པ་དག་འོངས་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། མི་ན་བར་ལག་ན་མཚོན་ཆ་ཐོགས་པ་ལ་ཆོས་བཤད་པར་མི་བྱ་སྟེ། ལག་ན་གདུགས་ཐོགས་པ་ལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། ལག་ན་འཁར་བ་ཐོགས་པ་ལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། ལག་ན་རལ་གྲི་ཐོགས་པ་ལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། ལག་ན་དགྲ་ཆ་ཐོགས་པ་ལ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང། མི་ན་བར་གོ་ཆ་སྣ་ལྔ་གྱོན་པ་ལ་ཆོས་མི་བཤད་པར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ། །ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅུ་གཉིས་སྡེ་དག་འགྲེང་སྟེ་བཤང་གཅི་བྱེད་པ་དང་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། མི་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་རོ། །ནད་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ་འདུག་མི་ནུས་པ་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ནད་པ་ཡིན་ན་རྗེས་སུ་གནང་ངོ། །དེ་ནས་སྦོམ་དགའ་མོ་སེར་སྐྱའི་གཞིར་འོངས་པ་ན། རང་གི་ཀུན་དགའ་ར་བ་སྲུང་བ་མཐོང་ནས། དེ་ནས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །གང་གི་ཚེ་ཁོ་མོ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བར་མ་གྱུར་ན། ཁོ་མོ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱི་ཅིར་འགྱུར། དེས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ།

From then on, those riding elephants went to war, and they said: Please, Holy Mother, preach the Dharma. They said: Stop, and we will preach the Dharma. They said: We are about to be killed by the enemy, and the enemy is right behind us. The Blessed One said: If they are sick, then preach. Similarly, it should be said to those riding horses and those in chariots. From then on, do not preach the Dharma to those riding on people's shoulders and heads. When do they become sick? The Blessed One said: Preach. Preaching the Dharma to those wearing high boots, the Blessed One said: Do not preach the Dharma to those riding on elephants, not to those riding horses, not to those in chariots, not to those riding on people, and do not teach the Dharma to those wearing high boots. When the sick people came, to the point where the Blessed One said, "No, Dharma should not be taught to those with hair in a topknot, not to those with their heads wrapped, not to those with their heads bound with garlands, not to those with crowns on their heads, and it should be taught that Dharma should not be taught to those who are not sick and wearing hats." Then, when the twelve groups were teaching Dharma while holding weapons in their hands, to the point of "It should not be explained." When is it that one is going to battle or has become ill, to the point where the Blessed One said, "It should be explained." Similarly, when those carrying umbrellas came, from "It should not be explained" to the point where the Blessed One said, "It should be explained to the sick." Similarly, when those carrying canes in their hands came, from "It should not be explained," and again, if it is a sick or elderly person who cannot live without a cane, to the point where the Blessed One said, "Dharma should be taught to them." Similarly, when those carrying swords in their hands came, to "It should not be explained," as before. Similarly, when those wearing five kinds of armor came, to the point where the Blessed One said, "Dharma should not be taught to those who are not sick and holding weapons in their hands, not to those holding umbrellas in their hands, not to those holding canes in their hands, not to those holding swords in their hands, not to those holding enemy weapons in their hands, and it should be taught that Dharma should not be taught to those who are not sick and wearing five kinds of armor." Then, when the twelve groups were standing and urinating and defecating, to "It should not be done." From the point of becoming sick and unable to sit down, to the point where the Blessed One said, "If one is sick, it is permitted."
