If used, it is a downfall. Also, what is "who"? It is the swollen woman. If wiping with sesame residue, what is "in all places"? It is using the residue from extracting sesame oil to wipe the body. It is a downfall. This is the same as before. Then, how does one commit a downfall? If a Bhikshuni wipes even a little with sesame residue, she will commit a downfall in all places. The fourth part of the twenty-sixth downfall ends. The beginning is in Shravasti. At that time, the twelve groups of Bhikshunis wiped the dirt from their bodies with substances that made the body shine, and this itself became a fault. Those Bhikshunis with few desires began to reproach them. At that time, the Bhikshunis reported to the Blessed One. After that, the Blessed One, starting from "This has happened," proceeded to establish the precepts. Also, any Bhikshuni who wipes with substances that make the body shine commits a downfall. Also, what is "who"? It is the twelve groups of Bhikshunis. What is "substances that make the body shine"? It is substances that wipe away dirt from the body and make it shine. What is "commits a downfall"? It is the same as before. Then, how does one commit a downfall? If a Bhikshuni wipes even a little with substances that make the body shine, she will commit a downfall in all places. The summary of the verses of the twenty-sixth downfall ends.

O. ("Falling offense"): As before. How does one become subject to a falling offense? If a bhikkhuni asks a bhikkhu a question without regard to the occasion, it becomes a falling offense in all cases. The first of the twenty-seventh falling offenses is complete. The setting is in Shravasti. Then, Bountiful Woman put on her lower garment in the morning, took her alms bowl and robe, and went to the house of a wealthy person for alms. Those people were putting their body ornaments in containers and doing their hair. Then, Bountiful Woman saw necklaces, ornate bracelets, armlets, etc., and picked them up and wore them. Those women said: "Holy woman, what are you doing?" She said, "Is my body beautiful with ornaments?" They said, "You have promised another way of shaving your head, what use is adornment to you?" When the women were thus reproaching her, the bhikkhunis reported it to the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One did everything from "This happened" to "establishing the training." Furthermore, any bhikkhuni who wears the ornaments of a householder commits a falling offense. Furthermore, "any" refers to Bountiful Woman. "Householder's ornaments" refers to necklaces, ornate bracelets, armlets, etc. "Wears" means to adorn. "Falling offense" is as before. How does one become subject to a falling offense? If a bhikkhuni wears even a little of a householder's ornaments, in all cases it becomes a falling offense. The second of the twenty-seventh falling offenses is complete. The setting is in Shravasti. Then, the group of twelve bhikkhunis and many wives of Brahmins and householders of Shravasti were holding hands and bathing in the Aziravati River. They were pointing at each other with their fingers, making each other happy, causing each other to be happy, playing with each other, causing each other to play, frolicking, being frivolous, and showing off vulgar bodily behavior. When the bhikkhunis who desired little reproached them, they reported it to the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One did everything from "This happened" to "establishing the training."
