Then, the Great Lady, the Mother of Beings, said thus: "Fair Face, are they surrounded by flour merchants?". That person then said thus: "Holy Mother, the nuns are flour merchants". She then said thus: "Fair Face, who is that nun who is a flour merchant?". That person then said thus: "It is Bhomdagmo". The Great Lady, the Mother of Beings, Gautami, said thus in anger: "Do we also have this time?". Having said this, when the nuns of few desires were rebuking, they reported to the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One, from this event up to the establishment of the precepts, furthermore, if a nun sells food, food means flour and so on. Selling means taking value. An offense means as before. In that, how does it become an offense? If a nun sells a little food, as long as she has not appropriated the value as her own, it is an evil deed. If she appropriates it as her own, it becomes an offense. The summary verse of the twenty-third category of offenses is complete. Summary: One should not pierce the granary of a house, One should not place a mat for increase, One should not hang threads either, One should not carry an umbrella or leather shoes. The event was in Shravasti. Then, Bhomdagmo, in the early morning, wearing a skirt, taking the bowl and Dharma robes, entered the house of a householder for alms, After that, she said to the wife of the householder: "Good Name, give me alms". She said thus: "Holy Mother, I do not like begging". Bhomdagmo said thus: "Why? Has your calf drunk all the milk today?". She said thus: "Holy Mother, piercing the granary of a house is truly of no benefit". Bhomdagmo again said thus: "Are you also like a needle, doing the same work?". The wife of the householder also said thus: "Holy Mother, do you have some expertise in this?". Bhomdagmo also said thus: "For me, in the place of crafts, and in the place of work, what is there that I have not mastered?". After that, to her...

The wife of the householder then said to Sthūlanandā, "Venerable one, please clean my room." She said, "Who will give me alms?" The householder's wife said, from "The householder's wife said" to "Even the steward is poor." Then Sthūlanandā put her alms bowl aside, tucked up her robes, and cleaned the entire house thoroughly. She swept well, made the beds, and cleaned and arranged the iron, silver, and gold utensils. She made the whole house very beautiful. Then she took up the burden of alms and went to the summer house. Then the householder saw her and said, "Good woman, you have cleaned the house today as if it were brand new." She said, "Venerable Sthūlanandā did it, not I." He said, "Give her alms every day, and she will clean your house." Then, at another time, the great Prajāpatī Gautamī entered that house for alms, and then the householder's wife said to the great Prajāpatī Gautamī, "Venerable one, please clean my room." She said, "Sister, I have not even cleaned the house of Śuddhodana, so should I do it now that I am ordained? Even so, sister, are you not accumulating much non-merit by offering to those who uphold the precepts, and planting the seeds to become a servant? Furthermore, have you seen or heard of anyone who is ordained cleaning a house?" She said, "Sthūlanandā." The great Prajāpatī Gautamī also said, "It is precisely because of this that we have encountered this situation." Then, those nuns of few desires rebuked this matter and reported it to the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One, from "This happened" until the establishment of the precepts, said, "If any nun cleans a house, she commits an offense entailing expiation." "Any" refers to Sthūlanandā. The term "ong" refers to tidying up one's own home. The term "offense entailing forfeiture" is the same as before. How does one fall into offense? If a bhikkhuni tidies up even a little bit of her home, it all becomes an offense entailing forfeiture. The first of the twenty-fourth offenses entailing forfeiture is complete. The setting is in Shravasti. At that time, Spom Gamo had the bhikkhunis recite scriptures, and afterwards had the bhikkhunis make cushions, instructing them, "Take this and send it to such and such a place." The bhikkhunis said, "You have the bhikkhunis make cushions and use them, which generates much non-merit." When they rebuked her, the bhikkhunis reported to the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One, starting from "This happened," made the precepts until the establishment of the discipline, saying, "If any bhikkhuni has the bhikkhunis make cushions and use them, it is an offense entailing forfeiture." "Any" refers to Spom Gamo. "Bhikkhunis" refers to those of this Dharma. "Deed" refers to the deed. "Cushion" refers to small beds. "Having them make cushions" refers to having them take it. "Using" refers to using it oneself. "Offense entailing forfeiture" is the same as before. How does one fall into offense? If a bhikkhuni has the bhikkhunis make cushions and use them even a little, it all becomes an offense entailing forfeiture. If one is old and unable to work, or a sick person teaches the Dharma, there is no offense. The second of the twenty-fourth offenses entailing forfeiture is complete. The setting is in Shravasti. Then, Tsug Gamo put on her lower garment in the morning, took her bowl and Dharma robes, and went to the house of a householder to beg for alms, saying to the householder's wife, "Woman of good name, please give alms." She said, "Venerable Mother, I am spinning thread and am very busy." Tsug Gamo said, "Go and bring alms." She worked for the sake of alms. Then, at another time,
