The small one is five and a half cubits long and three and a half cubits wide, the medium one is in between. Similarly, there are three types of monastic robes, and three types of lower skirts. Similarly, there are three types of mortars and broken wooden posts. Furthermore, the length of the lower skirt is five cubits, and the width is two cubits. Furthermore, the length of the lower skirt is four cubits, and the width is two cubits. The smallest size of the lower skirt is just enough to cover three hips. The smallest size of discarded items is one cubit around. From the beginning of a Bhikkhuni discarding clothes, to the initial state as it was, it is a downfall of discarding. The third part of the downfall of discarding ends. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, was dwelling in the Jeta Grove of Prince Jeta, in the garden of Anathapindika in Shravasti. At that time, the Bhagavan, relying on Near Joy, accepted the offerings of Anathapindika, and established the basis of learning from non-relatives. The Bhikkhunis were harassed by thieves, and the Bhagavan permitted the situation where Bhikkhunis were harassed by thieves. Many elder Bhikkhunis heard this and went to where the Bhagavan was. Having arrived, they bowed their heads at the feet of the Bhagavan and sat to one side. Having sat to one side, many elder Bhikkhunis said to the Bhagavan: "Bhagavan, how should we practice this basis of learning?" Then, the Bhagavan praised the Bhikkhunis for wanting to learn, respecting learning, and reducing the merits of learning supplies, and then said to the Bhikkhuni Sangha: "Furthermore, if any Bhikkhuni goes to a non-relative householder or the wife of a householder to beg for clothes, unless it is the appropriate time, it is a downfall of discarding. The appropriate time is: if a Bhikkhuni's clothes are robbed, lost, burned, or carried away by water, then she can go to a non-relative householder or the wife of a householder to beg for clothes, that is the appropriate time. Furthermore, any Bhikkhuni, refers to one who belongs to this Dharma. Non-relative."

That which is called "clothes being carried away by water" means: those clothes being carried away by water. That which is called "clothes being burned" means: those clothes being burned by fire. Starting from "Nissaggiya Pacittiya," explain in detail. So, how does one commit a transgression? It is from the aspects of value, color, and size. How is it from the aspect of value? Furthermore, if a Bhikkhuni goes to a non-relative householder or the wife of a householder and begs for clothes worth five Karshapana, then while begging, she commits a Dukkata. Upon obtaining it, she commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. If she obtains more, there is no transgression. Similarly, it should also be said for clothes worth ten and twenty Karshapana. This is from the aspect of value. How is it from the aspect of color? A Bhikkhuni goes to a non-relative householder or the wife of a householder and begs for blue clothes, then while begging, she commits a Dukkata. Upon obtaining it, she commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. If she obtains yellow, there is no transgression. Similarly, for blue, and for red, blue, and white, it should be explained in detail. A Bhikkhuni goes to a non-relative householder or the wife of a householder and begs for yellow clothes, then while begging, she commits a Dukkata. Upon obtaining it, she commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. If she obtains blue, there is no transgression. Similarly, it should also be said for yellow, red, and white. A Bhikkhuni goes to a non-relative householder or the wife of a householder and begs for red clothes, then while begging, she commits a Dukkata. Upon obtaining it, she commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. If she obtains blue, there is no transgression. Similarly
