Perhaps it is land. Then, when they began to contemplate this, they knew that the Blessed One was dwelling there alone. Then the Dharma-giver said to those degenerate royal families: 'Householders, for three months, offer robes and alms to the Blessed One, and so on, up to medicine and necessary supplies.' Then they completely offered to the Blessed One and the Sangha of monks, and to the Dharma-giver and his retinue. Then the wives of those degenerate royal families began to serve the nuns. Those degenerate royal families also placed valuable and ordinary robes for the sake of the monks and nuns. In the middle of summer, the king sent them elsewhere, but Anathapindika prevented them, and the nun Sāgī, at the end of summer, signaled for robes. They said: 'Holy mothers, we have offered the price of the robes, but they have been eaten by insects.' The nuns said: 'The Blessed One said that the gains of the summer season should not be distributed in the middle of the summer season.' Because they wanted to learn the precepts, they did not distribute them at that time. The nuns spoke to the monks, and the monks reported to the Blessed One. Then, from the occurrence of this event, the Blessed One made it up to the establishment of the precepts. If a nun obtains a robe that has arisen from waiting within ten days of the last month of autumn, and wants a robe that has arisen from waiting, then that nun should accept it. Having accepted it, she should hold it until the time of giving robes. If she holds it beyond that time, it is an offense entailing forfeiture. Ten days means that a distinction will arise on the tenth day. Nun means those of this Dharma. Obtained means from others. A robe that has arisen from waiting, there are five robes that have arisen from waiting. What are the five? The one who comes, the one who is about to leave, the sick, the one who cares for the sick, and the manager. Robe means any of the seven. Want means if you really need it. Holding until the time of giving robes.
