If the Sangha is ready and approves, please allow. The Bhikshuni Sangha will appoint the Bhikshuni named so-and-so to distribute unconnected bowls; this is the request. The procedure should be as follows: Sisters of the Bhikshuni Sangha, please listen to me. If this one named so-and-so is willing to distribute unconnected bowls to the Bhikshuni Sangha, then the Bhikshuni Sangha appoints so-and-so to distribute unconnected bowls. If so-and-so distributes unconnected bowls to the Bhikshuni Sangha, then sisters, those who approve of appointing so-and-so to distribute unconnected bowls, let them not speak. Those who do not approve, let them speak. After the Sangha approves and allows, the Bhikshuni Sangha appoints so-and-so to distribute unconnected bowls. Since no one speaks, it is thus determined. After that, the Bhikshuni who distributes unconnected bowls should say to the Sangha at the time of assembly: Tomorrow morning, unconnected bowls will be distributed; please clean your own bowls. This should be said. Then, when it dawns, the Bhikshuni who is to distribute should arrange the dwelling, and when the Bhikshuni Sangha has gathered and is in harmony, she should take the unconnected bowl and sit before the elder Bhikshunis, and should recite the praises of the unconnected bowl as is the custom, and should also say: Elder, please accept the bowl. If the elder of the Sangha accepts the unconnected bowl, then the elder of the Sangha should give the bowl to the second elder. The second elder should give the bowl to the third elder, and so on, even to the newest Bhikshuni. If the elder of the Sangha does not accept the unconnected bowl, and it has reached the third elder, if the elder of the Sangha asks again, it should not be given. Even if asked twice, it should not be given. If asked three times

It should be given as alms, and transgressions against the Vinaya should be confessed. Similarly, among the newly ordained Sangha, if anyone has not taken a handleless bowl, or if there is a surplus, it should be given to that person. The Blessed One taught that how to use it afterwards should be explained, but because it was not understood. The Blessed One taught: For a Bhikshuni holding a handleless bowl, rules of usage should be established. If a Bhikshuni holding a handleless bowl goes for alms, she should hold the handleless bowl in her right hand and the blessed bowl in her left hand. If she gets wet rice, she should take the blessed bowl. If she gets dry rice, she should take the handleless bowl. If she puts it in a bowl, the blessed bowl is at the bottom, and the handleless bowl is on top. If she cleans it, first the handleless bowl, then the blessed bowl. If she puts it on a bowl stand, she should put the handleless bowl on top of the blessed bowl. If she is working on the bowl, she should burn the handleless bowl in a good ash pit, and the blessed bowl in a bad one. If she is walking on the road, she should entrust the blessed bowl to her fellow residents and attendants, and keep the handleless bowl herself. If no one is carrying it, the handleless bowl is under her right armpit, and the blessed bowl is under her left armpit. A Bhikshuni holding a handleless bowl, if she does not truly follow the established rules of usage, she will commit a serious offense. The Sangha does not bless the last bowl, it should not be blessed, it should not be given to anyone, but it should be held slowly, slowly, until the end of life, until the end of its breaking. If so, what offense will be committed? Even if a Bhikshuni's bowl is broken, it should be patched with one patch, and using it without patching is tolerable for four times.

If she seeks another, she commits a dukkaṭa. If she obtains one, she commits a nissaggiya pācittiya. If a bhikkhunī's bowl is broken, it is proper to mend it with two patches. If a bhikkhunī's bowl is broken, it is proper to mend it with five patches. Whether she mends it or not, there is no offense in seeking another bowl. For a beginner, etc., there is no offense. The thirteenth nissaggiya pācittiya is complete. The basis of the story is in Sāvatthī. At the time when, relying on Near Joy, the training rule about thread was established from non-relatives, the bhikkhunī Thullanandā begged for thread from non-relatives and relatives, and also had weavers, relatives and non-relatives, weave cloth. Therefore, when she criticized those bhikkhunīs who had few needs, those bhikkhunīs told the bhikkhus, and the bhikkhus told the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One did from "this happened" to "establishing the training rule," and also, any bhikkhunī who gets thread from a householder or a householder's wife who is not a relative,
