More particularly. The so-called "clothing is accomplished" means it is obtained. The so-called "expiation entailing forfeiture" means that having abandoned that thing, it is the same as before. The so-called "if it is not accomplished" means it is not obtained. The so-called "that bhikkhuni" is Near-Joyful Woman. The so-called "from which direction did the value of those clothes come" means from where did it come. The so-called "should I go there myself" means myself. The so-called "should I send a trusted messenger" means whoever goes will accomplish that matter. The so-called "the value of the clothes that you sent for the sake of this bhikkhuni's name, their meaning was not accomplished at all" means it did not serve any purpose at all. The so-called "know this" means, may those with long life not waste what is not their own property. The so-called "in that matter, that is the ritual" means in that matter, that is the Dharma that accords with it. How does one incur a downfall in that matter? If the errand-runner goes to the bhikkhuni and says, "Venerable Mother, please smell these clothes," then the bhikkhuni should say to the errand-runner, "I have already given these up, give them to that person." If the errand-runner also says, "Venerable Mother, please accept these clothes, I will capture his heart," if the bhikkhuni accepts without doing this procedure, then she will incur an expiation entailing forfeiture in all cases. If a bhikkhuni takes possession of anything that has not been approved, even a small amount of alms bowl, or a Dharma robe, or any other requisites for a bhikkhu's livelihood, then she will incur an expiation entailing forfeiture for those things. The eighth expiation entailing forfeiture is complete. The basis of the story is in Shravasti. When the Blessed One forbade felt mats, those groups of twelve bhikkhus also made felt mats, and also had others make them, and because they despised the bhikkhunis who desired little, those bhikkhunis spoke to the bhikkhus, and the bhikkhus reported to the Blessed One. Then the Blessed One, from "this happened" up to the establishment of the training, again, which bhikkhuni wool

If one makes a spread from raw silk, it is a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. Furthermore, a Bhikkhuni, whoever is called "so-and-so," refers to one belonging to this Dharma. Regarding "raw silk," there are two kinds of raw silk: newly made raw silk and found raw silk. In this context, it refers only to newly made raw silk. "Mon dar" refers to silkworm silk. Regarding "spreading," there are two kinds of spreading: those with inner stuffing and those spread out. In this context, it refers to both. "To do" means by oneself or by another. "Nissaggiya Pacittiya" is as mentioned before. How does one incur a downfall? Namely, bundles, skeins, and heaps. If a Bhikkhuni separates a bundle of silkworm silk, destroys it, wears it out, and does not spread it, she commits a Dukkhata. If she spreads it, she commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. If a Bhikkhuni separates a skein of silkworm silk, destroys it, wears it out, and does not spread it, she commits a Dukkhata. If she spreads it, she commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. If a Bhikkhuni separates a heap of silkworm silk, destroys it, wears it out, and does not spread it, she commits a Dukkhata. If she spreads it, she commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. If a Bhikkhuni separates a bundle, skein, and heap of silkworm silk, destroys it, wears it out, and does not spread it, she commits a Dukkhata. If she spreads it, she commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. If a Bhikkhuni separates a skein, heap, and bundle of silkworm silk, destroys it, wears it out, and does not spread it, she commits a Dukkhata. If she spreads it, she commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. If a Bhikkhuni separates a heap, skein, and bundle of silkworm silk, destroys it, wears it out, and does not spread it, she commits a Dukkhata. If she spreads it, she commits a Nissaggiya Pacittiya. If one finds (the silk) after it has been made (into a spread), there is no downfall for using it. The ninth Nissaggiya Pacittiya is complete. The basis of the story is in Rajagriha. At the time when the Blessed One, relying on the essence arising from the Sutra of Jewel in the Crown, established the basis of training regarding accepting gold and silver, at that time, the twelve groups at that time, accepted gold and silver with their own hands, and caused others to accept it.
