It will not lead to downfall. When slandering an impure person, there are eleven grounds that lead to downfall, and six grounds that do not lead to downfall. How do eleven grounds lead to downfall? Regarding what he has not seen, not heard, and not doubted, he changes his perception, and changes his patience, desire, wisdom, discrimination, and view, saying, "I have seen, I have heard, I doubt." If he says this, everything he says becomes a sanghavasesa. He saw, but he forgot; he heard, but he forgot; he doubted, but he forgot. He changes his perception, and changes his patience, desire, wisdom, discrimination, and view, saying, "I have seen, and I have not forgotten; I have heard, and I have not forgotten; I have doubted, and I have not forgotten." If he says this, everything he says becomes a sanghavasesa. Because he believes what he has heard, he says, "I have seen"; because he does not believe what he has heard, he says, "I have seen"; because he doubts what he has heard, he says, "I have seen"; because he does not doubt what he has heard, he says, "I have seen"; because he doubts his doubt, he says, "I have seen." If he says this, everything he says becomes a sanghavasesa. Thus, eleven grounds lead to downfall. How do six grounds not lead to downfall? Regarding what he has not seen, not heard, and not doubted, he does not change his perception, and does not change his patience, desire, wisdom, discrimination, and view, saying, "I have seen, I have heard, I doubt." If he says this, it will not lead to downfall. He saw, and he has not forgotten; he heard, and he has not forgotten; he doubted, and he has not forgotten. He does not change his perception, and does not change his patience, desire, wisdom, discrimination, and view, saying, "I have seen, and I have not forgotten; I have heard, and I have not forgotten; I have doubted, and I have not forgotten." If he says this, it will not lead to downfall. Thus, six grounds do not lead to downfall. Just as when slandering an impure person, eleven grounds lead to downfall, and six grounds do not lead to downfall.

Also, to slander someone who pretends to be pure when they are impure, there are eleven grounds for falling, and six grounds for not falling. The monks became doubtful and asked the Blessed One, the Buddha, who cuts off all doubts. From "What action should be done?" onwards, the previous stories should be told extensively. What action should be done to become the one who places the nuns and distributes food, and even though one has attained Arhatship, one is slandered? Just as in the distinction of monks, it should be told extensively. From the distinction of nuns, the second Sanghavasesa is complete. The Blessed One, the Buddha, was dwelling in the Kalanda Grove in the Radiant Garden in Rajagriha. When Utpalavarna, the virtuous friend, relied on the great son of Maudgalyayana, the venerable one, and abandoned the inferior deeds and attained Arhatship. She would go every day to see the Blessed One in the three times. The faithful monks thought, "This venerable Gyadbu Nor, the great master, has abandoned his own samadhi, liberation, and samapatti, and is watching the monks diligently engaged in the work of Dharma." Then, certainty arose even more. At that time, the venerable Gyadbu Nor was dwelling in Rajagriha, not far from Vulture Peak Mountain, by the side of a pond called Stone Wall Pond, spending the day. Then, the Bhikshuni Utpalavarna went to where the venerable Gyadbu Nor was, and having arrived, bowed her head at the two feet of the venerable Gyadbu Nor, and sat on one side. At that time, the venerable Gyadbu Nor had newly dyed the Dharma robe, a red kasaya. The Bhikshuni Utpalavarna had also shaved her hair, and it had not been long. Then, the kasaya was carried by the wind and landed on her head. At that time, a deer was also doing something inappropriate with a doe. Then, the friend and the earth-born were also washing the wiping cloth at the Stone Wall Pond. The friend and the earth-born to the Sangha

Lotus Color. When the venerable Gyadbu Nor's feet are being bowed to, the edge of the Dharma robe is carried by the wind and wraps around the head, and a beast is also seen doing something that is not suitable for a female beast. Having seen this, the friend said to Earth-born: Earth-born, look at Lotus Color and Gyadbu Nor. At that time, we had transcended the undivided, but now we have found our share. Having spoken thus, the two of them, with this share, transgressed the venerable Gyadbu Nor. The monks also said this: "Have you abandoned the gods and humans all together, and are you making only one sentient being dwell in hell?" The two of them said: "If we are not at fault, then my eyes are at fault." Up to the point where the Blessed One saw what in those two? How did he see it? Where did he see it? Where did he see it? Why did you two come here? Please examine and investigate well. Thus he commanded, and so on as before. The monks also thoroughly questioned the two of them. When the two of them were thoroughly questioned and investigated, the two of them said this: "We saw a beast and a female beast, and we also saw Gyadbu Nor and Lotus Color, and with this share we transgressed." At that time, the monks beseeched the Blessed One, and when the Blessed One established the basis of training for the monks, the nuns transgressed Lotus Color with that share. At that time, the nuns spoke to the monks. The monks also beseeched the Blessed One. Then the Blessed One, from this occurrence onwards, up to the establishment of the precepts. Furthermore, any nun who is angry and has not abandoned her hatred, thinking, "How can I separate these from the Brahmachari?" Then, with a small portion of a dispute that does not belong to another party, she takes some Dharma and accuses a nun who has not committed a defeat with the Dharma of defeat. That matter may be asked at another time, or it may not be asked. That dispute is also not part of another, and that dispute is also...
