Thinking, "This is really great!" he said to the daughter of Sravasti, Good Virtue, "Good Virtue, come here! Let's go out from home together!" They went out from home together. Later, they went together to a place not far from where the Brahmin boy Nyagrodha was born, and said to the daughter of Sravasti, Good Virtue, "Good Virtue, go and stay as you wish to behave!" At that time, in Rajagriha, there lived a naked ascetic named "Perfected," who was not omniscient but claimed to be omniscient, and he was surrounded by many naked ascetics and disciples of naked ascetics. Then, the daughter of Sravasti, Good Virtue, went to where the naked ascetic Perfected was, and said to the naked ascetic Perfected, "Venerable one, I wish to renounce from you." He ordained her there and placed her among the naked women. Then, those naked ascetics saw the daughter of Sravasti, Good Virtue, who was of good form, beautiful to look at, lovely, with radiant complexion, and excellent, and they said to each other, "Whatever we have renounced is all for the sake of the five qualities of heavenly desire. And the daughter of Sravasti, Good Virtue, is like a heavenly woman, perhaps we will obtain the qualities of heavenly desire, perhaps we will not. In any case, let us enjoy the daughter of Sravasti, Good Virtue." Then, about five hundred naked ascetics went to where the naked ascetic Perfected was. After a while, they explained the situation in detail. Then, they requested the daughter of Sravasti from Perfected, and Perfected also granted it out of love for his disciples. Then, due to the ripening of karma, every day five hundred naked ascetics happily enjoyed her. After some time, she became disgusted and complained to Perfected, who said, "Go and be with the one who makes you aroused!" At that time, the Blessed One, the Bodhisattva, at the age of twenty-nine, enjoyed various desires, and seeing the old, the sick, and the dead, his mind turned away, and in the middle of the night he rode the precious horse Kanthaka and went to the forest, where he gained nothing for six years.

Through diligent asceticism, he bathed in the Nairanjana River and accepted the milk porridge offered by the sisters Gama and Gastoma, which had been extracted sixteen times. The Dragon King Kalachakra praised him with verses, and he took grass from the grass seller Tashi Den, went to the Bodhi tree, and personally laid out a seat that was undisturbed and without conflict. Like a dragon king coiling when sleeping, he sat in full lotus posture, vowing, "Until I attain the exhaustion of defilements, I will not break this full lotus posture." He also spoke these words. Soon, he subdued the host of demons with thirty-six million retinues, and attained the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Urged by Brahma, he went to Varanasi and turned the Dharma wheel of Dharma, placing the venerable Kaundinya and eighty thousand gods in the truth. He also tamed the five monks, also tamed the near five monks, and also tamed the fifty village leaders. He went to the cotton tree forest and tamed the sixty members of the Bhadra group. He went to the city of the warlord and placed the village girls Gama and Gastoma in the truth. He went to Elephant Head Mountain and tamed the five hundred ascetics, including Elephant Head Kashyapa, who possessed miraculous transformations. He went to Gaya City and taught the River Kashyapa and the thousand matted-hair ascetics with the three miracles. He went to the Bright and Adorned Place and tamed King Suddhodana and his retinue, eighty thousand gods, the Brahmins of Magadha, and countless householders, accepting the Bright Garden. At that time, the Blessed One was staying at the Bamboo Grove Monastery in Rajagriha. Kashyapa saw the Blessed One under a tree, with a beautiful appearance, worthy of faith, his senses pacified, his mind pacified, tamed, possessing the supreme peace, shining like a golden stupa, abiding in meditation. Having seen him, he thought, 'Alas, I have seen the teacher! Alas, I have seen the Arhat! Alas, I have seen the Blessed One!'
