He resided in Landaka. At that time, there was a festival in Rajagriha where mountains and beauty met. All the heretics gathered there without food to eat. After a while, the naked ones also went to Rajagriha. Then, the daughter of the Serkya clan, the virtuous woman, thought: Who would endure suffering like this for so long? Entering Rajagriha for alms, this is my opportunity. Then, she found an opportunity because she was delighted by the afflictions, and she went to Rajagriha under the pretext of begging for alms. The venerable Mahakashyapa also put on his lower garment in the morning, and with his robes and bowl, he entered Rajagriha for alms. He saw the virtuous woman, the daughter of the Serkya clan, who was not radiant in color and had become like a net. Having seen her, he spoke these words: Sister, have you fully maintained the practice of pure conduct? She said: The prince and those who live in the household are my pure conduct, but now I am only engaging in impure conduct, and there is no pure conduct. He said: Sister, in order to abide in pure conduct, will you go forth into the well-spoken Dharma and Vinaya? When he said this, the virtuous woman, the daughter of the Serkya clan, said to the venerable Mahakashyapa: Prince, do you also not have extensive giving? After a while, the venerable Mahakashyapa began to contemplate, and he saw that those with wrongly spoken teachings, those with evil teachings, were connected to non-holy Dharma. Recognizing that such a thing had happened, he said to the virtuous woman, the daughter of the Serkya clan: Sister, do not be afraid. The teachings of the Bhagavan are without impurity and without sin. His Shravakas do not even seek the desires of the gods, so what need is there to mention the views of humans? Then, he completely entrusted her to the great Pajapati, and she ordained her and gave her full ordination. When he entered for alms, the deceitful ones, the prostitutes, and the hypocrites completely loathed such an ugly form.

They said that they rejoiced without enjoyment. Then at another time, the venerable Mahākāśyapa put on his lower garment in the morning, took his robes and alms bowl, and entered Rājagṛha for alms. The daughter of the Śākya clan, Bhadrā, also put on her lower garment in the morning, took her robes and alms bowl, and entered Rājagṛha for alms. The venerable Mahākāśyapa saw the daughter of the Śākya clan, Bhadrā. Having seen her, he spoke thus: Sister, are you delighted in the teachings of the Blessed One? She said: We are delighted in the teachings of the Blessed One, there is no non-delight. However, I am harmed by this form, like a dyed sheep. Wherever I go, people ask me for favors. The venerable Mahākāśyapa said: Do not be troubled for the sake of alms. I will give you half of my alms each day. Then she relied on alms, half she used herself, and half she gave to him. As she proceeded in this way, the group of six heard that Mahākāśyapa had become a householder, and although he had lived in the same house with Bhadrā for twelve years, he had never once aroused a mind of attachment, Now he gives alms to her, so they began to mock him. Then the venerable Mahākāśyapa instructed the daughter of the Śākya clan, Bhadrā, on what to keep in mind, and through her diligence, effort, and exertion, she abandoned all defilements and realized Arhatship. After a while, the venerable Mahākāśyapa heard the monks mocking him. Having heard this, he said to the daughter of the Śākya clan, Bhadrā: Sister, whatever a spiritual friend should do, I have done. A wild animal does not feed a wild animal, now follow the practice allowed by the Buddha, the merits cultivated in your father's land, and continue to beg for alms. After instructing her in this way, the venerable Mahākāśyapa practiced equanimity. At that time, Ajātaśatru, relying on the evil friend Devadatta,

His father possessed the Dharma, he was a king of the Dharma, (he) was separated from his life, (he, Ajatasatru) sat on the throne in order to rule over the power of his father's kingdom. As soon as he sat on the throne, he felt remorse in his heart, and then he entered the chamber of sorrow. Even with various methods, his sorrow could not be dispelled, so the ministers thought: In these six great cities, how many kinds of singers, theatrical performers, comedians, tree climbers, and musical instrument players are there, all of them should be gathered together. They did so. Then, in front of King Ajatasatru, various kinds of musical instrument players played music with instruments such as the pipa, flute, pottery drum, hand drum, iron cymbals, and harp, sang songs, danced, ran, and jumped. Even after doing so, the sorrow of King Ajatasatru could not be dispelled. Then, at another time, the daughter of Sravasti, Good Woman, put on her skirt early in the morning, carried her Dharma robes and alms bowl, and with a dignified demeanor, entered Rajagriha to beg for alms. A minister with malicious intentions saw the daughter of Sravasti, Good Woman, with a good figure, beautiful and lovely, with a body even brighter than the color of gold. After seeing her, he thought in his heart: This person can dispel the king's sorrow. Thinking this way, the minister seized the daughter of Sravasti, Good Woman, bathed her with bathing methods suitable for the king, and then adorned her with incense, flowers, garlands, clothes, and various ornaments suitable for the king, and offered her to King Ajatasatru. After that, the daughter of Sravasti, Good Woman, because the karma done and accumulated in the past will surely occur, will surely be experienced, lived in the palace like lightning. For example, just as the shadow of a mountain or a mountaintop descends and appears, so too with the daughter of Sravasti, Good Woman, because the karma done and accumulated in the past will surely occur, will surely be experienced, exists completely like lightning, so soon after, as soon as King Ajatasatru saw the daughter of Sravasti, Good Woman, he fell in love and began to enjoy happiness with her. Then, on the fifteenth day of the Uposatha, if asked about the
