Having gone to the place where the earthen house was, he then said to the potter: "Auspicious one, if you have no discomfort, I will stay in one corner of the pong earthen house." Having said that, the potter said to the Pratyekabuddha: "Noble one, please dwell as you please." Then, that Pratyekabuddha spread a grass mat in one corner of the pong earthen house, and sat in the vajra posture, like the king of illusion curling up to sleep. Then, another Pratyekabuddha also came, from "..." to the potter being pleased by this, and stayed in the second room of that pong earthen house. A third one also came and stayed in the third room. Similarly, a fourth one also came and stayed in the fourth room. Then, when the sun had set and it was realized that night had fallen, those four Pratyekabuddhas entered into the fire element samadhi. The potter saw from the crack in the door that the pong earthen house was all ablaze, blazing fiercely, completely ablaze, blazing fiercely and becoming one flame, and then he thought: "Benefactor (ཡོན་གནས་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:)" Such people have come, and the pong earthen house that I own has become their dwelling place, I am truly powerful and have the ability to benefit others! He also said: "How wonderful! Benefactors (ཡོན་གནས་,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:,汉语字面意思:) have come, Having been seen for a long time, In this world and the next, I will surely have happiness." Those Pratyekabuddhas, in order to increase the merit of the patron, spent the night with meditation, liberation, samadhi, and samapatti, and created joy for each other. Then, those Pratyekabuddhas said to one of them: Who are you? Where? Why? How did you become ordained? Having said that, that person said to them: Venerable ones, have you heard that in the country of Kalinga there was a king named Karna? They said: We have heard, and we have also heard that that King Karna has wealth, vast retinues, and many elephant mounts. That person said: How did you hear about it?

Although things were like that, I renounced because I saw the faults of kingship. They said: What faults of kingship did you see that you renounced? He said: If there are faults, then it is not a small matter. What is it like? Listen, monks. When I was here, residing on the top of the upper mansion, at that time a bird was carrying a piece of meat and flying in the sky, and for that reason, it was harassed by many other birds. It dropped the meat and others picked it up, the bird carrying the meat was released, and the bird picking up the meat was surrounded, and they were robbing each other in this way. I arose with proper attention, whatever is taken is bound, whatever is discarded is released. For this reason, if I enjoy the vast kingship, it is inevitable that I will fight, argue, and compete with the kings of Jambudvipa, I am content with the happiness of kingship. Thinking this, having found that cause and condition, I निश्चित (Sanskrit Devanagari: निश्चित, Sanskrit Romanization: niścita, meaning: certain) renounced, and also in the forest of asceticism, relying purely, there I directly realized the Bodhi of the solitary Buddha. Again he said: When a bird carries a piece of meat, I saw other birds surrounding and chasing it. Having recognized the faults of sensual pleasures in this way, one will practice alone like a rhinoceros. They said: Having heard his words, they asked the second person how he renounced, from "Have you heard, O venerable ones, that there was a king in the country of Mithila named Pleasant Face?" to "When residing on the top of the upper mansion." How many times, two bulls, because of desire, saw each other beating and scolding each other, I saw it, and proper attention arose, like this, these two fellows who are temporarily born as animals, also beat and scold each other because of desire, from "I will fight, argue, reveal shortcomings, and compete with the kings of Jambudvipa," renounced, and directly realized the Bodhi of the solitary Buddha. Again he said:

Furthermore, because the basis and cause of desire cause agitation, and seeing quarrels and mutual accusations, therefore, recognizing the faults of desire, I practice alone like a rhinoceros. I also heard his words. They asked the third person, "From where and how did you renounce?" He said: "In this palace of the city of Varanasi, starting from a king named Brahma-dana, I possessed hundreds and thousands of riding elephants." Until... They said: "What fault did you see in the kingdom? What fault did you see in desire?" He said: "Listen. Here, after the winter storms have passed and the summer season has arrived, the flowers of the trees are in full bloom. The bees hum and fly, the tops of the flowers droop, leaning against the sandalwood trees, and the cuckoo sings. In the forest, there are swans, cranes, peacocks, parrots, and pheasants making sounds. Together with the consorts, I went to the pleasure garden. There, I saw the mango tree flowers were very lush, and those consorts, being attached to the flowers, immediately broke the branches. I thought to myself, for a while, these external things are beautiful when they are prosperous, but not beautiful when they are in decline. My kingdom and wealth, until they are completely enjoyed, will inevitably decline. Thinking this, I renounced and realized the enlightenment of a solitary buddha." He also said: "The flowers at the top of the mango tree are in full bloom, seeing attachment to the captivating form, therefore, recognizing the faults of desire, I practice alone like a rhinoceros."
