One should not speak. Then, the group of twelve nuns would put two or three grains of rice into their mouths, and from the statement, "This is how it is given to the displeased, eating like this," the Blessed One taught, "One should not make the morsel too small." Then, the group of twelve nuns would put a very large morsel into their mouths, and from the statement, "This is how the hungry eat," the Blessed One taught, "In the future, one should not hold the alms bowl while preparing and eating, one should not open the mouth without measuring the portion, one should not speak with the mouth full of food, one should not make the morsel too small, one should not make the morsel too large, one should train to eat in moderation." This is the end of that. Then, the group of twelve nuns would eat making clicking sounds, and the nuns said to them, "What kind of behavior is that?" They said, "Children eat like this." From this, the Blessed One taught, "One should not make clicking sounds, one should eat food." This is the end of that. Then, the group of twelve nuns would eat food making 'hu hu' sounds, and from the statement, "This is how the sick and displeased eat," the Blessed One taught, "One should not eat like that." This is the end of that. Once, a householder invited the community of nuns to his house as guests. He served a lot of rice and little vegetables, and they ate greedily with an arrogant attitude. Then, the householder became ashamed and said, "Noble mothers, I know there is dry rice, but there is not enough vegetable broth." From this, the Blessed One taught, "One should not eat greedily, one should eat food." This is the end of that. Similarly, a householder invited them as guests, but this householder was poor. He served cold food in the winter. They ate blowing on it with an arrogant attitude. Then, the householder became ashamed and said, "Noble mothers, I know, but I am from a poor family and I am helpless." From this, the Blessed One taught, "One should not blow on it, one should eat food.

That's the end of that. Then, the group of twelve monks, while wandering, arrived at a village and went to a farmer's house. There, they shook their robes, washed their feet and hands, and began to eat. After that, some naked ascetics also arrived at another house, and soon they also began to eat. Then, the group of twelve monks, those with contemptuous thoughts, made a stupa of food called "The Accomplished One," and set up a radish as the axis of the stupa, saying to those naked ascetics, "This is the stupa of your teacher." Having said that, they bit off a mouthful from that stupa and ate it, saying in unison, "A stupa of the Accomplished One!" After that, those naked ascetics felt pain and discomfort, and weeping, they said, "Today it is as if our teacher has passed away." The Blessed One taught: One should not make "tsk tsk" sounds, one should not make "whoo whoo" sounds, one should not make "bltch bltch" sounds, one should not make "pooh pooh" sounds, and one should train not to knead food into the shape of a stupa and eat it. Then, the group of twelve monks spread out food on a grass mat, picking up grains one by one and putting them in their mouths. The nuns said to them, "What is the meaning of doing that?" They said, "This is how crows eat torma." The Blessed One taught: One should not pick out grains one by one from food. That's the end of that. Then, the group of twelve monks were invited to a house as guests, and that person offered them coarse food, and they praised those foods. Another person offered fine food, but they criticized those foods. The Blessed One taught: One should not praise or criticize food. Then, the group of twelve monks, while eating, hid food from their cheeks to their jowls. They said, "This is how sick people eat." The Blessed One taught: One should not move food from the cheeks to the jowls. Then, the group of twelve monks bit off half of the food, placed it on the edge of their tongues, showed it to each other, and then swallowed it again. The Blessed One
