Sa. Then Gotami thought, 'I should also teach the Dharma to the abundant woman.' Thinking thus. Then Gotami said to the abundant woman, 'Sister, why do you only think of eating? Is this not the source of good?' And began to teach the Dharma. Then the abundant woman thought, 'I have waited a long time to get this opportunity.' Thinking thus, she insulted her, 'Son's leftovers, disturbed mind, buried one.' Then she drove her out of the summer inner chamber. Those nuns of few desires rebuked her at that time and reported it to the Blessed One. Then the Blessed One, from 'This happened' onwards, made the establishment of the precepts. Again, any nun who is angry, agitated, furious, displeased, and drives a nun out of the summer chamber, commits a Patayantika offense. 'Again, any' refers to the abundant woman. 'Angry, agitated, furious' refers to abiding in the entanglement of anger. 'Nun' refers to Gotami. 'From the summer chamber' refers to the dwelling. 'Drive out' refers to expulsion. 'Commits a Patayantika offense' refers to as mentioned before. So, how does one commit a Patayantika offense? Through bodily action, or through verbal expression, or both, just as it is said from the source of Patayantika offenses. The third of the thirteen Patayantika offenses is completed. The origin of the matter is in Shravasti. At that time, the death omen woman and the near death omen woman were sleeping on one bed. When the two of them were sleeping on one bed, just like a man and a woman sitting together, frolicking, frivolous, bodily crude, those nuns of few desires rebuked them at that time and reported it to the Blessed One. Then the Blessed One, from 'This happened' onwards, made the establishment of the precepts. Again, any nun who sleeps with a nun on one bed, commits a Patayantika offense. 'Again, any' refers to the death omen woman and the near death omen woman. 'On one bed' refers to one bed. 'Commits a Patayantika offense' refers to as mentioned before. So, how does one commit a Patayantika offense? As long as a nun slightly sleeps with a nun on one bed, then...
