If one has fallen into such a state of wrong view, as long as this has not been abandoned, the bhikkhunis should not converse with her, should not say "please come", should not individually truly rejoice, and should despise her with extreme contempt, like a candala woman. This is the third karma. After the noble bhikkhuni sangha has tolerated and permitted, it is accepted as it is by not speaking like this. After abiding in this way, even if the karma of expulsion has been done, still insisting on and clinging to that very basis, and openly infatuated, saying "only this is true, the others are foolish", when the subsequent designation is attached, the bhikkhunis reported to the Blessed One.
