These disputes that have been pacified, this dispute has not been resolved with "ཤད་", it should be resolved again with "ཤད་". This dispute has not been definitely investigated, it should be definitely investigated again. This dispute has not been well determined, it should be well determined again. This dispute has not been pacified, it should be pacified again. Like this, they repeatedly make accusations. After that, those nuns quarreled, exposed each other's faults, and disputes arose. Because of exposing faults, they stayed, did not listen to the scriptures, did not read, did not recite, did not practice yoga, did not contemplate, and abandoned the inner peace of mind. When those nuns with little understanding slandered, they reported to the Blessed One. After that, the Blessed One, starting from "This happened," made the precepts until the establishment of the training. Furthermore, if any nun, knowing that the Sangha has unanimously and lawfully resolved a dispute, still performs the accusation of karma again, she commits a Patayantika offense. Again, "any nun" refers to the twelve sections. "Knowing" refers to oneself. "Lawfully" refers to according to the Vinaya and according to the Buddha's teachings. "Dispute" refers to the four disputes, namely the dispute arising from fighting, the dispute arising from not choosing, the dispute arising from falling, and the dispute arising from actions. "From lawful resolution" refers to through petition and the four karmas. "Again perform the accusation of karma" refers to wanting to perform it again. So, how does one commit a Patayantika offense? If a nun considers a dispute arising from fighting to be a dispute, considers what is resolved with "ཤད་" to be resolved with "ཤད་", and again performs the accusation of karma, she commits a Patayantika offense. If a nun has doubt about what is resolved with "ཤད་", she commits a Patayantika offense. If a nun considers what is not resolved with "ཤད་" to be resolved with "ཤད་", and again performs the accusation of karma, she commits a Patayantika offense. Having doubt, she commits a Patayantika offense. If a nun considers what is not resolved with "ཤད་" to be resolved with "ཤད་", she commits a Dukkata offense. Having doubt, she commits a Dukkata offense. If a nun considers a dispute arising from fighting to be a dispute arising from not choosing, considers what is resolved with "ཤད་" to be resolved with "ཤད་", and again performs the accusation of karma.
