དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགོངས་པ། ཁྱིམ་པ་དག་ཟེར་བ་བདེན་ནོ་སྙམ་ནས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་ངའི་ཉན་ཐོས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་འདི་ལྟར་གདོན་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། མི་མཆོང་བར་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འགྲོ་བར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ། །དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་གོམ་པ་ཧ་ཅང་ཆེན་པོ་དག་གིས་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འདོང་ནས་བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་། ཁྱིམ་བདག་དད་པ་ཅན་དག་སྨོད་པར་བྱེད་དེ། འཕགས་པ་དག་ཆང་གིས་ར་རོ་བ་དག་དང་། འབྱུང་པོ་དང་། ཤ་ཟས་བརླམས་པ་དག་འདི་ལྟར་བགྱིད་པས་འདི་ནི་ཚུལ་དང་མཐུན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱིས་འདི་ལྟར་མ་བཞུད་ཅིག །དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་འདི་ལ་དགོས་པ་ཡོད་དོ། །འཕགས་པ་དག་དགོས་པ་གང་ལགས། ཇེ་དང་པོར་ཁྱེད་ཅག་ཉིད་མི་ཤེས་པ་དང་བྲལ་བ་དང་། བསླབས་པར་གྱུར་པའོ། །དེ་དག་རྒྱ་ཆེར་སྨོད་པ་ལ་ཞུགས་པ་ཐོས་ནས་སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགོངས་པ། ཁྱིམ་པ་དག་ཟེར་བ་ བདེན་ནོ་སྙམ་ནས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་ངའི་ཉན་ཐོས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་འདི་ལྟར་གདོན་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། མི་བརྐྱང་བར་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འགྲོ་བར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ། །དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་ཙོག་པུས་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འདོང་ནས། བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དད་པ་ཅན་དག་སྨོད་པར་བྱེད་དེ། འཕགས་པ་དག་འགྲོས་ཉམས་པ་དག་དང་། རྐང་བམ་ཅན་དག་དང་། བྱིས་པ་ཁྱེའུ་དག་འདི་ལྟར་བགྱིད་པས་འདི་ནི་ཚུལ་དང་མཐུན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱིས་འདི་ལྟར་མ་མཛད་ཅིག །དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་འདི་ལ་དགོས་པ་ཡོད་དོ། །འཕགས་པ་དག་དགོས་པ་གང་ལགས། ཇེ་དང་པོར་ཁྱེད་ཅག་ཉིད་མི་ཤེས་པ་དང་བྲལ་བ་དང་བསླབས་པར་གྱུར་པའོ། །དེ་དག་རྒྱ་ཆེར་སྨོད་པ་ལ་ཞུགས་པ་ཐོས་ནས་སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགོངས་པ། ཁྱིམ་པ་དག་ཟེར་བ་བདེན་ནོ་སྙམ་ནས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་ངའི་ཉན་ཐོས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་འདི་ལྟར་གདོན་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། ཙོག་པུས་མ་ཡིན་པར་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འགྲོ་བར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ། །དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་རྐང་པའི་བྲང་བ་དག་གིས་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འདོང་བར་བྱེད་ནས་བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དད་པ་ཅན་དག་སྨོད་པར་བྱེད་དེ། འཕགས་པ་དག་བྱིས་པ་ཁྱེའུ་སྨིག་མ་བཞིན་དུ་རྩེ་བ་དག་དང་། རྐང་མཐིལ་སྨས་པ་དག་འདི་ལྟར་བགྱིད་པས་འདི་ནི་ཚུལ་དང་མཐུན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱིས་འདི་ལྟར་མ་བཞུད་ཅིག

于是众比丘向薄伽梵请示，薄伽梵心想：‘在家人所说的是真实的。’于是开示说：‘因此，我的声闻弟子们应当这样宣说修学律仪的基础：应学不跳跃进入他人家中。’六众以非常大的步伐进入他人家中，受到婆罗门和有信仰的居士们的呵斥：‘圣者们像醉汉、鬼怪和贪吃肉食的人一样这样做，这不合规矩，请不要这样行走！’他们说：‘贤者们，这样做是有必要的。’‘圣者们，有什么必要呢？’‘首先，你们自己是不懂事和未经训练的。’听到他们开始大肆呵斥，当时众比丘向薄伽梵请示，薄伽梵心想：‘在家人所说的是真实的。’于是开示说：‘因此，我的声闻弟子们应当这样宣说修学律仪的基础：应学不伸展身体进入他人家中。’六众蹲着进入他人家中，受到婆罗门和有信仰的居士们的呵斥：‘圣者们像步履蹒跚的人、瘸腿的人和小孩一样这样做，这不合规矩，请不要这样做！’他们说：‘贤者们，这样做是有必要的。’‘圣者们，有什么必要呢？’‘首先，你们自己是不懂事和未经训练的。’听到他们开始大肆呵斥，当时众比丘向薄伽梵请示，薄伽梵心想：‘在家人所说的是真实的。’于是开示说：‘因此，我的声闻弟子们应当这样宣说修学律仪的基础：应学不蹲着进入他人家中。’六众用脚后跟进入他人家中，受到婆罗门和有信仰的居士们的呵斥：‘圣者们像小孩玩弄幻影一样，脚底受伤的人这样做，这不合规矩，请不要这样行走！’

Then the monks requested the Blessed One, and the Blessed One thought, 'What the householders say is true.' Then he taught, 'Therefore, my disciples should declare the basis for training in discipline as follows: One should train to not jump into other people's houses.' The group of six, with very large steps, entered other people's houses and were scolded by Brahmins and faithful householders: 'The holy ones, like drunkards, ghosts, and gluttons of meat, do this, which is not proper, please do not walk like this!' They said, 'Wise ones, there is a need for this.' 'Holy ones, what is the need?' 'Firstly, you yourselves are ignorant and untrained.' Hearing that they began to scold extensively, at that time the monks requested the Blessed One, and the Blessed One thought, 'What the householders say is true.' Then he taught, 'Therefore, my disciples should declare the basis for training in discipline as follows: One should train to not stretch the body into other people's houses.' The group of six squatted and entered other people's houses, and were scolded by Brahmins and faithful householders: 'The holy ones, like those who walk unsteadily, those with lame legs, and children, do this, which is not proper, please do not do this!' They said, 'Wise ones, there is a need for this.' 'Holy ones, what is the need?' 'Firstly, you yourselves are ignorant and untrained.' Hearing that they began to scold extensively, at that time the monks requested the Blessed One, and the Blessed One thought, 'What the householders say is true.' Then he taught, 'Therefore, my disciples should declare the basis for training in discipline as follows: One should train to not squat and enter other people's houses.' The group of six used the heels of their feet to enter other people's houses, and were scolded by Brahmins and faithful householders: 'The holy ones, like children playing with illusions, and those with injured soles, do this, which is not proper, please do not walk like this!'

Then he taught: Therefore, my hearers should declare the basis of training in discipline as follows: One should train to go to another's house without leaning forward with the chest. The group of six monks, with their hands on their hips, went to another's house, and the Brahmins and faithful householders scolded, saying: Holy ones, the wealthy, merchants, and leaders do this, which is not in accordance with the rules, do not walk like this.
