དུ་འགྲོ་བར་བྱེད་ནས། བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དད་པ་ཅན་དག་སྨོད་པར་བྱེད་དེ། འཕགས་པ་དག་གྱད་འགྱེད་སར་མཆི་བ་དག་སྟོད་གཡོགས་འདི་ལྟར་འཚལ་བས་འདི་ནི་ཚུལ་དང་མཐུན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱིས་ཆོས་གོས་འདི་ལྟར་མ་གསོལ་ཅིག །དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་འདི་ལ་དགོས་པ་ཡོད་དོ། །འཕགས་པ་དག་དགོས་པ་གང་ལགས། ཇེ་དང་པོར་ཁྱེད་ཅག་ཉིད་མི་ཤེས་པ་དང་བྲལ་བ་དང་བསླབས་པར་གྱུར་པའོ། །དེ་དག་རྒྱ་ཆེར་སྨོད་པ་ལ་ཞུགས་པ་ཐོས་ནས་སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགོངས་པ། ཁྱིམ་པ་དག་ཟེར་བ་བདེན་ནོ་སྙམ་ནས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དགེ་སློང་དག་དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་ངའི་ཉན་ཐོས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་བསླབ་ པའི་གཞི་འདི་ལྟར་གདོན་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། ལེགས་པར་བགོས་ཤིང་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འགྲོ་བར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ། །དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་བྱུང་རྒྱལ་སྨྲ་བས་སྒྲ་འབྱིན་ཅིང་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འདོང་ནས། བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དད་པ་ཅན་དག་སྨོད་པར་བྱེད་དེ། འཕགས་པ་དག་བྱིས་པ་ཁྱེའུ་དག་དང་། ཆང་གིས་ར་རོ་བ་དག་དང་། འབྱུང་པོ་དང་། ཤ་ཟས་བརླམས་པ་དག་འདི་ལྟར་བྱུང་རྒྱལ་སྨྲ་བས་སྒྲ་འབྱིན་ཅིང་མཆི་བས་འདི་ནི་ཚུལ་དང་མཐུན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱིས། འདི་ལྟར་སྒྲ་འབྱིན་ཅིང་མ་བཞུད་ཅིག །དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་འདི་ལ་དགོས་པ་ཡོད་དོ། །འཕགས་པ་དག་དགོས་པ་གང་ལགས། ཇེ་དང་པོར་ཁྱེད་ཅག་ཉིད་མི་ཤེས་པ་དང་བྲལ་བ་དང་། བསླབས་པར་གྱུར་པའོ། །དེ་དག་རྒྱ་ཆེར་སྨོད་པ་ལ་ཞུགས་པ་ཐོས་ནས་སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགོངས་པ། ཁྱིམ་པ་དག་ཟེར་བ་བདེན་ནོ་སྙམ་ནས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དགེ་སློང་དག་དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་ངའི་ཉན་ཐོས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་འདི་ལྟར་གདོན་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། སྒྲ་བསྐྱུང་ཞིང་ཚིག་ཉུང་ངུས་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འགྲོ་བར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ། །དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་མིག་ཡེངས་ཤིང་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འགྲོ་བ་ན་དེ་དག་གླང་པོ་ཆེ་འཁྲུལ་པ་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་འདོམ་པ་དང་། རྟ་འཁྲུལ་པ་དང་། ཤིང་རྟ་འཁྲུལ་པ་དང་། རྐང་ཏང་འཁྲུལ་པ་དང་འདོམ་ཞིང་དེ་དག་གིས་བརྔོས་ཤིང་ཕུལ་བ་ན་མི་གཙང་བ་དང་། རྫབ་ཀྱི་ཁུང་དང་། ཕྱག་དར་གྱི་ཁྲོད་དུ་སྒྱེལ་ནས། བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་། ཁྱིམ་བདག་དད་པ་ཅན་དག་སྨོད་པར་བྱེད་དེ། འཕགས་པ་དག་སྐར་མ་ལ་རྟོག་པ་དག་དང་། མིག་བཙུམས་པ་དག་བཞིན་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་གཟིགས། ས་ལ་གཟིགས་ན་ཅི་ནོངས། འདི་ནི་ཚུལ་དང་མཐུན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱིས། འདི་ལྟར་ཡེངས་ཤིང་མ་བཞུད་ཅིག །དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་འདི་ལ་དགོས་པ་ཡོད་དོ། །འཕགས་པ་དག་དགོས་པ་གང་ལགས། ཇེ་དང་པོར་ཁྱེད་ཅག་ཉིད་མི་ཤེས་པ་དང་བྲལ་བ་དང་བསླབས་པར་གྱུར་པའོ། །དེ་དག་རྒྱ་ཆེར་སྨོད་པ་ལ་ཞུགས་པ་ཐོས་ ནས་སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགོངས་པ། ཁྱིམ་པ་དག་ཟེར་བ་བདེན་ནོ་སྙམ་ནས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དགེ་སློང་དག་དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་ངའི་ཉན་ཐོས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་འདི་ལྟར་གདོན་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། མིག་གཡེང་བར་མི་བྱ་ཞིང་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འགྲོ་བར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ། །དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་མིག་རྒྱང་རིང་པོར་ལྟ་ཞིང་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འདོང་བ་ན། དེ་དག་སྤྱོད་ལམ་ཉམས་ཤིང་ལམ་ཤོར་བ་ལ་སོགས་པར་གྱུར་ནས། བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་། ཁྱིམ་བདག་དད་པ་ཅན་དག་སྨོད་པར་བྱེད་དེ། འཕགས་པ་དག་སྐར་མ་ལ་རྟོག་པ་དག་དང་། བྱ་ར་བ་དག་འདི་ལྟར་ལྟ་བར་བགྱིད་པས་འདི་ནི་ཚུལ་དང་མཐུན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱིས་འདི་ལྟར་གཟིགས་ཤིང་མ་བཞུད་ཅིག །དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་འདི་ལ་དགོས་པ་ཡོད་དོ། །འཕགས་པ་དག་དགོས་པ་གང་ལགས། ཇེ་དང་པོར་ཁྱེད་ཅག་ཉིད་མི་ཤེས་པ་དང་བྲལ་བ་དང་། བསླབས་པར་གྱུར་པའོ། །དེ་དག་རྒྱ་ཆེར་སྨོད་པ་ལ་ཞུགས་པ་ཐོས་ནས་སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགོངས་པ། ཁྱིམ་པ་དག་ཟེར་བ་བདེན་ནོ་སྙམ་ནས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དགེ་སློང་དག་དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་ངའི་ཉན་ཐོས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་འདི་ལྟར་གདོན་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། གཉའ་ཤིང་གང་ཙམ་དུ་བལྟ་ཞིང་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འགྲོ་བར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ། །བསླབ་པ་བསྡུ་བའི་མདོ་ནི། ཆོས་གོས་ཟླུམ་པོར་བགོ་བར་བསླབ་པར་བྱ། ཆོས་གོས་ཧ་ཅང་རྩེངས་པ་མ་ཡིན་པ་དང་། ཧ་ཅང་འཇོལ་བ་མ་ཡིན་པར་བགོ་བར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ། །ཤིན་ཏུ་བསྡམས་པ་དང་། ལེགས་པར་བགོས་པ་དང་། སྒྲ་བསྐྱུང་བ་དང་། མིག་གཡེང་བར་མི་བྱ་བ་དང་། གཉའ་ཤིང་གང་ཙམ་དུ་བལྟ་ཞིང་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འགྲོ་བར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ། །དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་མགོ་གཡོགས་ཤིང་ཁྱིམ་གཞན་དུ་འདོང་བར་བྱེད་ནས། བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དད་པ་ཅན་དག་སྨོད་པར་བྱེད་དེ། འཕགས་པ་དག་རིགས་ཀྱི་མནའ་མ་དག་དང་། མིག་ན་བ་དག་དང་། སྦྲང་རྩིའི་སྦྲང་ བུས་འཇིགས་པ་དག་འདི་ལྟར་བགྱིད་པས་འདི་ནི་ཚུལ་དང་མཐུན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱིས་འདི་ལྟར་མ་གཡོགས་ཤིག །དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་འདི་ལ་དགོས་པ་ཡོད་དོ།

而行，婆罗门和有信施主们便会呵责说：‘这些圣者们去接受供养时，像这样披着上衣，这不合规矩，不要这样穿法衣！’他们便会说：‘贤者们，这其中有必要。’圣者们，有何必要？回答说：‘首先，你们自己是不懂装懂，没有受过教育。’听到他们大肆呵责，当时众比丘便禀告世尊。世尊心想：‘在家人说的是实话。’于是开示说：‘比丘们，因此，我的声闻弟子们应当这样宣说修学之本：要善于调整，并学习前往其他人家。’六群比丘说话随便，发出声音，前往其他人家，婆罗门和有信施主们便会呵责说：‘这些圣者们像小孩、醉汉、鬼怪和被肉食冲昏头脑的人一样，这样说话随便，发出声音而行，这不合规矩，不要这样发出声音而行！’他们便会说：‘贤者们，这其中有必要。’圣者们，有何必要？回答说：‘首先，你们自己是不懂装懂，没有受过教育。’听到他们大肆呵责，当时众比丘便禀告世尊。世尊心想：‘在家人说的是实话。’于是开示说：‘比丘们，因此，我的声闻弟子们应当这样宣说修学之本：要降低声音，用少量言语前往其他人家。’六群比丘眼神游移，前往其他人家时，他们像与发狂的大象、马、车辆、拐杖一起行走一样，当他们被那些东西撞击、推搡时，便会跌倒在不干净的地方、粪坑和垃圾堆里，婆罗门和有信施主们便会呵责说：‘这些圣者们像观星者和闭眼者一样，为何这样看？看地上有什么不好？这不合规矩啊！’

And they go, and Brahmins and faithful householders rebuke them, saying, 'These venerable ones, when they go to receive offerings, wear their upper garments in this way. This is not proper. Do not wear the Dharma robes in this way!' They say, 'Wise ones, there is a need for this.' 'Venerable ones, what is the need?' They reply, 'Firstly, you yourselves are ignorant and uneducated.' Having heard them engage in extensive rebuke, at that time the monks reported it to the Blessed One. The Blessed One thought, 'What the householders say is true.' Then he instructed, 'Monks, therefore, my disciples should recite the basis of training in this way: to be well-adjusted and to learn to go to other people's homes.' The group of six speak rashly, making noise, and going to other people's homes. Brahmins and faithful householders rebuke them, saying, 'These venerable ones, like children, drunkards, ghosts, and those intoxicated by meat, speak rashly and make noise as they go. This is not proper. Do not make noise and go in this way!' They say, 'Wise ones, there is a need for this.' 'Venerable ones, what is the need?' They reply, 'Firstly, you yourselves are ignorant and uneducated.' Having heard them engage in extensive rebuke, at that time the monks reported it to the Blessed One. The Blessed One thought, 'What the householders say is true.' Then he instructed, 'Monks, therefore, my disciples should recite the basis of training in this way: to lower their voices and use few words when going to other people's homes.' The group of six wander their eyes and go to other people's homes. They measure themselves against raging elephants, horses, carts, and crutches. When they are struck and pushed by those things, they fall into unclean places, cesspools, and piles of garbage. Brahmins and faithful householders rebuke them, saying, 'These venerable ones are like astrologers and those who close their eyes. Why do you look like that? What is wrong with looking at the ground? This is not proper!'

ས། 这样游荡着不要走！他们说：有知识的人，这里有需要。圣者们，有什么需要？首先，你们自己要远离无知，并且要学习。听到那些人开始大肆诽谤，当时比丘们祈请世尊，世尊心想：那些在家人的话是真的，于是开示说：比丘们，因此我的声闻弟子们应该这样念诵学习的根本：不要让眼睛游移不定，要学习去其他人家里。六群比丘们眼睛长远地看，去其他人家里，他们行为不检点，迷路等等，婆罗门和有信仰的施主们就诽谤说：圣者们，你们像观察星星的人和守望者那样观看，这不合规矩，不要这样看着走！他们说：有知识的人，这里有需要。圣者们，有什么需要？首先，你们自己要远离无知，并且要学习。听到那些人开始大肆诽谤，当时比丘们祈请世尊，世尊心想：那些在家人的话是真的，于是开示说：比丘们，因此我的声闻弟子们应该这样念诵学习的根本：看一轭之地的距离，要学习去其他人家里。学习总摄之经是：要学习圆满地穿法衣，要学习穿不太紧也不太松的法衣。要非常谨慎，要好好穿着，要减少声音，不要让眼睛游移不定，要学习看一轭之地的距离，去其他人家里。六群比丘们蒙着头去其他人家里，婆罗门和有信仰的施主们就诽谤说：圣者们，你们像贵族的新娘们，眼睛有病的人，害怕蜂蜜的蜜蜂那样做，这不合规矩，不要这样蒙着头！他们说：有知识的人，这里有需要。

Sa. Do not wander around like this! They said: Knowledgeable ones, there is a need here. Holy ones, what is the need? First of all, you yourselves must be free from ignorance and must learn. Hearing that those people began to slander greatly, at that time the monks requested the Blessed One, and the Blessed One thought: Those householders' words are true, so he taught: Monks, therefore my hearers should recite the basis of learning discipline like this: Do not let the eyes wander, and learn to go to other people's houses. The Six Groups of monks look far away and go to other people's houses, their behavior is improper, they get lost, etc., and the Brahmins and faithful patrons slander them, saying: Holy ones, you watch like those who observe the stars and the watchmen, this is not in accordance with the rules, do not look and leave like this! They said: Knowledgeable ones, there is a need here. Holy ones, what is the need? First of all, you yourselves must be free from ignorance and must learn. Hearing that those people began to slander greatly, at that time the monks requested the Blessed One, and the Blessed One thought: Those householders' words are true, so he taught: Monks, therefore my hearers should recite the basis of learning discipline like this: Look at the distance of a yoke, and learn to go to other people's houses. The Sutra of Collecting Learning is: One should learn to wear the Dharma garment completely. One should learn to wear the Dharma garment that is neither too tight nor too loose. One should be very careful, wear it well, reduce noise, not let the eyes wander, and learn to look at the distance of a yoke and go to other people's houses. The Six Groups of monks cover their heads and go to other people's houses, and the Brahmins and faithful patrons slander them, saying: Holy ones, you act like the brides of noble families, people with eye diseases, and bees afraid of honey, this is not in accordance with the rules, do not cover your heads like this! They said: Knowledgeable ones, there is a need here.
