བསླབས་པར་གྱུར་པའོ། །དེ་དག་རྒྱ་ཆེར་སྨོད་པ་ལ་ཞུགས་པ་ཐོས་ནས་སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགོངས་པ། ཁྱིམ་པ་དག་ཟེར་བ་བདེན་ནོ་སྙམ་ནས་ བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དགེ་སློང་དག་དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་ངའི་ཉན་ཐོས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་འདི་ལྟར་གདོན་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། ཤམ་ཐབས་གླང་པོ་ཆེའི་སྣ་ལྟར་མ་ཡིན་པར་བགོ་བར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ། །དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་ཤམ་ཐབས་གྱོན་པ་ན་གློ་དག་ཏུ་ལྟེབ་པར་བྱེད་ནས། བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དད་པ་ཅན་དག་སྨོད་པར་བྱེད་དེ། འཕགས་པ་དག་གར་མཁན་དག་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་ནང་དུ་ཤམ་ཐབས་འདི་ལྟར་འཚལ་བས་འདི་ནི་ཚུལ་དང་མཐུན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱིས་ཤམ་ཐབས་འདི་ལྟར་མ་གསོལ་ཅིག །དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་འདི་ལ་དགོས་པ་ཡོད་དོ། །འཕགས་པ་དག་དགོས་པ་གང་ལགས། ཇེ་དང་པོར་ཁྱེད་ཅག་ཉིད་མི་ཤེས་པ་དང་བྲལ་བ་དང་། བསླབས་པར་གྱུར་པའོ། །དེ་དག་རྒྱ་ཆེར་སྨོད་པ་ལ་ཞུགས་པ་ཐོས་ནས་སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགོངས་པ། ཁྱིམ་པ་དག་ཟེར་བ་བདེན་ནོ་སྙམ་ནས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དགེ་སློང་དག་དེ་ལྟ་བས་ན་ངའི་ཉན་ཐོས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་འདི་ལྟར་གདོན་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། ཤམ་ཐབས་ཏ་ལའི་ལོ་མ་ལྟར་བལྟབ་པ་མ་ཡིན་པར་བགོ་བར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ། །དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་ཤམ་ཐབས་གྱོན་པ་ན་གློར་བལྟབ་སྟེ་ཕུར་མ་ལྟར་འཇོག་པར་བྱེད་ནས། བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དད་པ་ཅན་དག་སྨོད་པར་བྱེད་དེ། འཕགས་པ་དག་ནོར་ཅན་དག་དང་ཚོང་དཔོན་དག་དང་དེད་དཔོན་དག་དང་། བུད་མེད་དག་ཤམ་ཐབས་འདི་ལྟར་འཚལ་བས་འདི་ནི་ཚུལ་དང་མཐུན་པ་མ་ལགས་ཀྱིས་ཤམ་ཐབས་འདི་ལྟར་མ་གསོལ་ཅིག །དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་འདི་ལ་དགོས་པ་ཡོད་དོ། །འཕགས་པ་དག་དགོས་པ་གང་ལགས། ཇེ་དང་པོར་ཁྱེད་ཅག་ཉིད་མི་ཤེས་པ་དང་བྲལ་བ་དང་། བསླབས་པར་གྱུར་པའོ། །དེ་དག་རྒྱ་ཆེར་སྨོད་པ་ལ་ཞུགས་པ་ཐོས་ནས་སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགོངས་པ། ཁྱིམ་པ་དག་ཟེར་བ་བདེན་ནོ་སྙམ་ནས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དགེ་སློང་དག་དེ་ལྟ་ བས་ན་ངའི་ཉན་ཐོས་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་གཞི་འདི་ལྟར་གདོན་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། ཤམ་ཐབས་འབྲུའི་ཕུར་མ་ལྟར་མ་ཡིན་པར་བགོ་བར་བསླབ་པར་བྱའོ། །དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་ཤམ་ཐབས་གྱོན་པ་ན་ལྟེ་བའི་འོག་ཏུ་སྦྲུལ་མགོའི་གདེངས་ཀ་ལྟར་བྱེད་ནས། བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་ཁྱིམ་བ

已经受教了。听到那些人开始广泛地责骂，当时比丘们向薄伽梵祈请，薄伽梵心想：那些在家人的话是真的。于是开示说：比丘们，因此，我的声闻弟子们应该这样念诵学习的根本：应当学习穿下裙，不要像大象的鼻子一样。六众穿下裙时，把裙子折叠到大腿上，婆罗门和有信仰的居士们责骂说：圣者们，舞者们在集会中这样穿下裙，这不合规矩，不要这样穿下裙。他们说：贤者们，这有必要。圣者们，有什么必要呢？首先，你们自己是不懂事而且已经受教的。听到那些人开始广泛地责骂，当时比丘们向薄伽梵祈请，薄伽梵心想：那些在家人的话是真的。于是开示说：比丘们，因此，我的声闻弟子们应该这样念诵学习的根本：应当学习穿下裙，不要像棕榈树叶一样折叠。六众穿下裙时，把裙子折叠到大腿上，像桩子一样放着，婆罗门和有信仰的居士们责骂说：圣者们，富人、商人和领队以及妇女们这样穿下裙，这不合规矩，不要这样穿下裙。他们说：贤者们，这有必要。圣者们，有什么必要呢？首先，你们自己是不懂事而且已经受教的。听到那些人开始广泛地责骂，当时比丘们向薄伽梵祈请，薄伽梵心想：那些在家人的话是真的。于是开示说：比丘们，因此，我的声闻弟子们应该这样念诵学习的根本：应当学习穿下裙，不要像谷堆一样。六众穿下裙时，在肚脐下面像蛇头的冠一样，婆罗门和居

Having been taught. Hearing that those people began to scold widely, at that time the monks requested the Blessed One, and the Blessed One thought: Those householders' words are true. Then he taught: Monks, therefore, my Shravaka disciples should recite the root of learning in discipline like this: One should learn to wear the lower garment, not like an elephant's trunk. When the Six Groups wear the lower garment, they fold the garment on their thighs, and the Brahmins and faithful householders scold, saying: Holy ones, dancers wear the lower garment like this in the assembly, this is not in accordance with the rules, do not wear the lower garment like this. They said: Wise ones, this is necessary. Holy ones, what is the necessity? First of all, you yourselves are ignorant and have been taught. Hearing that those people began to scold widely, at that time the monks requested the Blessed One, and the Blessed One thought: Those householders' words are true. Then he taught: Monks, therefore, my Shravaka disciples should recite the root of learning in discipline like this: One should learn to wear the lower garment, not folded like a palm leaf.
