At that time, (they) saw the noble one in the capital city and went with him to the capital city. There, they also lived a life in harmony with (the noble one). After some time, five hundred joyful ones came to the garden, and they began to discuss: "Wise ones, how about we stay in the garden like this? We should hire some companions." (The others said) "Let's do it that way." "Who should we hire?" "Let's hire Earth Mother." (The others said) "No problem." So they hired Lotus-Colored Earth Mother for five hundred karshapanas and took her to the garden. They ate, drank, and played, frolicked together, felt happy, and enjoyed themselves. The Venerable Great Maudgalyayana, knowing the time had come to tame Lotus Color, walked and stayed under a tree not far from them. Then, one of the joyful ones said: "The Venerable Great Maudgalyayana has been liberated from such bonds of affliction, while we are sinking in the mire of desire." Lotus Color said: "I once chased after an ugly spice merchant in Vaishali." That joyful one said: "What do you mean by that? Do you want to chase after him too?" Lotus Color said: "Is he a man with male genitals?" (The joyful one said) "He is a man with male genitals." She said: "If I can chase after him, what will you give me?" 显现于虚空之中，说了这些偈颂：骨骼的幻轮茅屋啊，被水完全缠绕着，不净腐烂气味难闻，依赖于他物且执为己有。充满污垢的皮囊你啊，空虚动摇孔眼多，从九个孔道经常地，不断流出不净物。正如我了解你一样，众生如果了解你，就像夏季的厕所一样，远远地彻底抛弃。因为孩童愚昧无知，被黑暗遮蔽而不知，因此像老牛对待粪便一样，他们对你产生贪恋。莲花色的也说了这些偈颂：大福德就是这样啊！如圣者所说的那样，骨骼的幻轮茅屋啊，被水完全缠绕着，不净腐烂气味难闻，依赖于他物且执为己有。被污垢包裹的皮囊我啊，空虚动摇孔眼多，从九个孔道经常地，不断流出不净物。正如圣者了解我一样，众生如果了解我，就像夏季的厕所一样，远远地彻底抛弃。因为孩童愚昧无知，被黑暗遮蔽而不知，因此像老牛对待粪便一样，他们对我产生贪恋。大福德请降临，请圣者开示佛法，对于殊胜智慧的教法，我将做您的声闻。然后，具寿大目犍连从上方的虚空降下，他领会了莲花色的想法、习气、界和自性，像这样，莲花色坐在那个座位上，用智慧金刚摧毁了二十座高耸的坏聚见山顶，显现了入流果，就这样开示了通达四圣谛的佛法。他见到真谛后说：圣者啊，我依靠圣者善知识，圣者为我所做之事，像这样，父亲也没有为我做过，母亲也没有为我做过，国王也没有为我做过，诸天也没有为我做过，以前的祖先们也没有。

Appearing manifestly in the sky, he spoke these verses: O illusory wheel of bones, a hut, completely entwined by water, impure, rotten, with a foul odor, relying on others and claiming it as one's own. O you, a leather bag filled with filth, hollow, unsteady, with many holes, from nine channels constantly, impure substances are always dripping out. Just as I know you, if beings were to know you, like a toilet in the summer, they would utterly abandon you from afar. Because children are ignorant, obscured by darkness and do not know, therefore, like an old ox to dung, they become attached to you. The lotus-colored one also spoke these verses: Great fortune is like this! As the noble one has said, O illusory wheel of bones, a hut, completely entwined by water, impure, rotten, with a foul odor, relying on others and claiming it as one's own. Then, the venerable Mahāmaudgalyāyana descended from the midst of the sky above, and he comprehended the thoughts, predispositions, elements, and nature of the lotus-colored one. Thus, as the lotus-colored one was sitting on that seat, he shattered the twenty high peaks of the mountain of the view of the aggregates with the vajra of wisdom, manifested the fruit of stream-entry, and thus taught the Dharma that perfectly and individually realizes the four noble truths. Having seen the truth, he said: Noble one, I, relying on the noble spiritual friend, the noble one has done for me what is like this, neither father has done for me, nor mother has done for me, nor king has done for me, nor the gods have done for me, nor the ancestors of the past.
