The king ordered that the corpses of those five hundred women be thrown into the charnel ground, and then the palace, both inside and out, was cleaned, and the crowds of people dwelling in Kauśāmbī (Sanskrit: Kauśāmbī) and those who had come from other lands were dispersed. Then, many monks, in the early morning, donned their robes, took up their bowls and religious garments, and went to Kauśāmbī (Sanskrit: Kauśāmbī) for alms. As many monks were going for alms in Kauśāmbī (Sanskrit: Kauśāmbī), they heard that King Badsai had gone to the Sharpa region, and that about five hundred women, including the entourage of his queen, led by Blue-Green, had been burned by fire.
