B. Possessing the wealth of Vaishravana, there is one who rivals Vaishravana in wealth. He takes a wife from his own clan, and together they play, rejoice, and enjoy happiness. They play, rejoice, and enjoy happiness, and his wife becomes pregnant. In the land of women, one who is wise by nature possesses five unmixed qualities. What are the five? Knowing when a man is aroused, knowing when he is not aroused, knowing the time, knowing menstruation, knowing when conception has occurred, knowing from where conception has occurred, and knowing whether it is a boy or a girl. If it is a boy, it rests on the right side; if it is a girl, it rests on the left side. She is delighted and, being delighted, says to the head of the household, "May the prince know! I have conceived. Since I rest on my right side, it will surely be a boy." He is also delighted and, being delighted, says, "For a long time, I have desired to see the face of a son, to be born in harmony with me and not in disharmony, to do my work, to repay nurture with nurture, to enjoy the inheritance, and for my lineage to endure. When we die and the time comes, whether little or much, give alms and make merit, so that wherever these two are born, they may follow, and may they dedicate the merit by name," he says specifically, he says specifically. Knowing that she is pregnant, in order to fully mature the fetus, in a foundation belonging to an upper chamber, when it is cold, there are cold implements, and when it is warm, there are warm implements. With a physician, food that is not too bitter, not too sour, not too salty, not too sweet, not too spicy, and not too astringent, abandoning foods that are bitter, sour, salty, sweet, spicy, and astringent, as well as necklaces, semoto, and a body adorned with ornaments, like a celestial maiden enjoying herself in a pleasure grove.

And the son, from bed to bed, and from mattress to mattress, and with whispers that do not touch the foundation, and therefore without hearing any unpleasant sounds, he is allowed to be served in a harmless way. After that, eight or nine months passed, A handsome boy was born. He was lovely to look at, beautiful, clear, like the color of gold, with a head like an umbrella, long arms, wide collarbones, curved eyebrows, and a high nose. His relatives gathered and held a grand twenty-one day (three times seven days) birth celebration. They began to discuss what name to give the boy. His relatives said: Because this boy is the son of Captain Singhala, therefore this boy's name should be Singhala. Thus, his name was named Singhala. The boy Singhala was entrusted to eight mothers: two mothers who nursed him on their laps, two mothers who gave him milk, two mothers who wiped away dirt, and two mothers who were playmates. These eight mothers nourished him with milk, yogurt, butter, ghee, butter essence, and other major items, nurtured him, and raised him quickly like a lotus in a pond. When he grew up, he began to study letters, numbers, arithmetic, manual calculation, subtraction, addition, and placement. He became proficient and understood letters, reading, was clever, had clear behavior, and was skilled in the following eight methods of discernment: discerning jewels, discerning land, discerning clothes, discerning vehicles, discerning elephants, discerning horses, discerning women, and discerning men. The father arranged for him three sets of wives: superior, middling, and inferior. He arranged for three residences: winter, spring, and summer. He arranged for three gardens: winter, spring, and summer. He, on the base of the upper mansion, without men, played with musical instruments, felt joy, and enjoyed happiness.

Once, he said to his father, "Father, will you allow me to enter the great ocean?" He said, "Son, I have many forms of wealth. Even if you use jewels as you use sesame, rice, soybeans, and lentils, my wealth will not diminish, be exhausted, or run out. Therefore, as long as I am alive, you should play, rejoice, and enjoy yourself, and after I pass away, you should acquire wealth." He repeatedly said, "Father, will you allow me to enter the great ocean?" Knowing that death was approaching, he said, "Son, do so. In this way, you will endure fear and terrible things." He had it proclaimed in the lion-like royal palace: "Merchants of knowledge residing in the lion-like royal palace and arriving from different lands, listen! Captain Singhala will enter the great ocean. Whoever among you wishes to enter the great ocean with Captain Singhala, without gambling, without robbery, and without ship damage, should prepare the goods for going to the great ocean." Five hundred merchants prepared the goods for going to the great ocean. Then, Captain Singhala, looking at his parents and other beloved and related relatives, chose an auspicious day, date, moment, and conjunction, and with carts, loads, mules, horses, she-mules, oxen, and many donkeys, carrying the goods for going to the great ocean, he set out with a retinue of five hundred merchants. Gradually, observing the commercial centers in villages, cities, towns, rural areas, and royal palaces, he finally reached the shore of the great ocean. He had five hundred old sailors repair the ship and hired five oarsmen to strengthen it and eliminate dangers, and he also hired sailors, great swimmers, and those who raised the sails, and proclaimed it three times.
