It is said that he came here alone. Is that true? Or is it a lie? He said: There is no god. If that is so, why don't you give it to me? I pray to the gods. The king placed her among the concubines and gave her five hundred attendants. Every day he gave her a thousand Kapa Shanas worth of incense and garlands. He also gave her a palace called the House of Flowers. She had a maid named Sgurmachok, who bought incense and garlands with a thousand Kapa Shanas every day. At another time, she had an affair with a spice merchant, and he bought incense and flower garlands with five hundred Kapa Shanas, and five hundred he ate with her. The spice merchant was a devout man, so he invited the Buddha and other monks to another house for a meal, and said to Sgurmachok: I have invited the Buddha and other monks to another house for a meal, so come and offer it. That night she prepared clean and delicious food, and got up early in the morning, laid out the seats, prepared the water, and sent out the invitation. He invited the Blessed One, saying: May the Blessed One be pleased to grant the monks a meal. The Blessed One accepted the invitation, thinking that the time had come. Then the Blessed One put on his robe, took his bowl and Dharma robe, and surrounded by the monks, with the monks walking in front, went to the spice merchant's residence. He sat down on the seat prepared for the monks. Then the spice merchant and Sgurmachok, seeing that the Buddha and other monks were seated comfortably, personally satisfied them with clean and delicious food. With various kinds of clean and delicious food, they personally satisfied them and offered them, and offered the Buddha and other monks a meal, and paid their respects. Seeing them put down their bowls, they took a very low seat and sat before the Blessed One to listen to the Dharma. The Blessed One

Then, the Blessed One understood the thoughts, habits, faculties, and nature of the hunchback. After hearing this, the hunchback, while sitting on that very seat, destroyed the twenty high peaks of the mountain of the view of the perishable aggregates with the vajra of wisdom. Thus, he manifested the fruit of stream-entry, and the Blessed One taught him the Dharma that enables one to truly and individually realize the four noble truths. Having seen the truth, he pleaded: "Venerable one, I rely on the Blessed One, the virtuous friend. What the Blessed One has done for me, my father has not done for me, my mother has not done for me, the king has not done for me, the gods have not done for me, my ancestors of the past have not done for me, the ascetics and Brahmins have not done for me, the loving ones, friends, and relatives have not done for me. He has dried up the ocean of blood and tears, delivered me from the mountain of bones, closed the doors of the lower realms, opened the doors of the heavens and liberation, pulled beings out of hell, animals, and hungry ghosts, and placed them among gods and humans. He has brought samsara to an end. Having destroyed the twenty high peaks of the mountain of the view of the perishable aggregates accumulated since beginningless time with the vajra of wisdom, I have obtained the fruit of stream-entry. Venerable one, I have entered the stream. Venerable one, I have entered the stream. Venerable one, I go for refuge to the Blessed One, the Dharma, and the Sangha of monks. Please accept me as a lay follower. From this day forward, for as long as I live, I will take refuge with extreme joy from the depths of my heart." Then, the Blessed One taught the Dharma to those two and departed. The hunchback said to the boy who sold incense: "Son of the prince, now that I do not steal even a grain of sesame from others, please give me goods worth a thousand karshapanas." He said: "There is no fault." He gave him goods worth a thousand karshapanas. He took those goods and went to the blue-skinned woman, and she said: "Hunchback, how is it that you are sleeping with your head turned outward today?" He said: "Lady, before I used to steal, but now I am"

Now, such afflictions are no longer universally practiced, and such qualities of merit are realized. What did you do today? Because she was a hearer and holder, she spoke in detail about the situation at that time. She said: "Jutika, after you hear the Dharma from the Blessed One, please tell me. That is your job." She said: "Okay, I will do that." Then, Jutika heard the Dharma from the Blessed One and told her. The Blessed One asked Jutika: "Jutika, do you teach the Dharma to the retinue of consorts?" "Blessed One, I teach." "How do you teach?" "Blessed One, I stand and teach, and they sit and listen." The Buddha said: "If they say, 'Jutika, please teach the Dharma,' you should say that I do not teach. If they ask why, you should say this: 'The Blessed One, with countless three great asamkhyeya kalpas, practiced austerities, perfected countless hundreds of thousands of the six perfections, and then attained unsurpassed wisdom. How can I teach you who are disrespectful, without status, and sitting on high seats?'" After some time, Jutika heard the Dharma from the Blessed One and went into the retinue of consorts. They said to her: "Jutika, please teach the Dharma." She said: "I do not teach." "Why?" Say this: "The Blessed One, with countless three great asamkhyeya kalpas, practiced austerities, perfected countless hundreds of thousands of the six perfections, and then attained unsurpassed wisdom. How can I teach you who are disrespectful, without status, and sitting on high seats?" Hearing this, Blue-lotus-colored one set up a lion throne. Others also spread out clean cushions. Others also lifted it up and placed it like that. Jutika sat on the lion throne. After hearing from her, five hundred women, including Blue-lotus-colored one, realized great differences. Some realized the fruit of stream-entry, some realized the fruit of once-returning, and some realized the fruit of non-returning.
