་པ་རྣམས་དང་། ཕོ་བྲང་འཁོར་གྱི་མི་རྣམས་དང་། ཡུལ་ཐ་དད་པ་ནས་ལྷགས་པའི་སྐྱེ་བོའི་ ཚོགས་རྣམས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་རྗེས་སུ་ཆགས་པ་ཡིན་པས་དེ་དག་གིས་ཐོས་ནས་ཐམས་ཅད་མཆི་མས་བརྣངས་ཏེ་འཁོད་དོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཨུ་ཏྲ་ཡ་ནས་གཞོན་ནུ་གཙུག་པུད་ཅན་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་ལ་བཞག་ནས་རྩ་ལག་གི་སྐྱེ་བོ་རྣམས་ལ་བཟོད་པ་གསོལ་ཏེ། དགེ་སྦྱོང་དང་། བྲམ་ཟེ་དང་། བཀྲེན་པ་དང་། སྡུག་ཕོངས་པ་རྣམས་ལ་སྦྱིན་པ་དག་བྱིན། བསོད་ནམས་དག་བྱས་ཏེ་མི་བསྙེན་བཀུར་བ་ཅིག་དང་། རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ལོགས་སུ་ཕྱོགས་ཏེ་འཕགས་སོ། །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་གཙུག་པུད་ཅན་བཙུན་མོའི་འཁོར་དང་། གཞོན་ནུ་དང་། བློན་པོ་དང་། ཕོ་བྲང་འཁོར་གྱི་མི་དང་བཅས་པ་དང་། གཞན་ཡང་ཡུལ་ཐ་དད་པ་ནས་ལྷགས་པའི་སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་རྣམས་ཕྱི་བཞིན་ཕྱི་བཞིན་དུ་འབྲང་སྟེ། སྲོག་ཆགས་འབུམ་ཕྲག་དུ་མ་དག་གིས་བསྐྱལ་བཞིན་དུ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་སྒྲ་སྒྲོགས་ནས་ཕྱིར་བྱུང་སྟེ། སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་ཤིང་ལྗོན་པའི་ཚལ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་བརྒྱན་པ། མེ་ཏོག་དང་འབྲས་བུ་དང་། ཆུ་རྒྱུན་སྣ་ཚོགས་དང་ལྡན་པ། ངང་པ་དང་། ཁྲུང་ཁྲུང་དང་། རྨ་བྱ་དང་། ནེ་ཙོ་དང་། རི་སྐེགས་དང་། ཁུ་བྱུག་དང་། ཤང་ཤང་ཏེའུ་སྒྲ་འབྱིན་པ་ཞིག་ཏུ་ཡུད་ཙམ་ཞིག་བསྡད་ནས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་སྒྲ་སྒྲོགས་ལོགས་སུ་རྣམ་པར་བལྟས་ཏེ་རྒྱལ་པོ་གཙུག་པུད་ཅན་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། བུ་ངས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་བྱེད་དུ་བཅུག་པས་དེའི་ཕྱིར་སྲོག་ཆགས་འབུམ་ཕྲག་འདི་སྙེད་ངའི་ཕྱི་བཞིན་དུ་འབྲང་བར་གྱུར་གྱིས། ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་ཆོས་ཀྱིས་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་བྱེད་དུ་གཞུག་པར་བྱའོ། །སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་དེ་ལ་ཡང་བག་ཕབ་སྟེ་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་ངས་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོར་འདི་བསྐོས་ཀྱིས་ཕྱིར་དེང་ལ་བདེ་བར་སྒྲུབས་ཤིག་ཅེས་སྨྲས་ཏེ་སོང་ངོ་། །རྒྱལ་པོ་གཙུག་པུད་ཅན་བཙུན་མོའི་འཁོར་དང་། གཞོན་ནུ་དང་། བློན་པོ་དང་ཕོ་བྲང་འཁོར་གྱི་མི་དང་བཅས་པ་དང་ཡུལ་ཐ་དད་པ་ནས་ལྷགས་པའི་སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་རྣམས་མཆི་མས་དཀྲུགས་པའི་མིག་གིས་ཡུད་ཙམ་ཡུད་ཙམ་ཕྱི་བཞིན་རྟོག་ཅིང་རྟོག་ཅིང་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་སྒྲ་སྒྲོགས་སུ་ཕྱིར་ལོག་གོ །དེ་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཨུ་ཏྲ་ཡ་ན་མཐར་གྱིས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་ནས་དེས་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་དུ་བསྡད་ དེ། མི་དེ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཀྭའི་ནང་རྗེ་རྒྱལ་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་སྙིང་པོའི་གན་དུ་སོང་ལ་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཨུ་ཏྲ་ཡ་ན་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་ན་སྡོད་དོ་ཞེས་སྦྲོན་ཅིག །མི་དེ་སོང་སྟེ་རྒྱལ་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་སྙིང་པོ་ལ་ལྷ་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཨུ་ཏྲ་ཡ་ན་སྐྱེད་མོས་ཚལ་ན་སྡོད་དོ་ཞེས་སྦྲན་ཏོ། །དེས་ཐོས་ནས་འཕྲལ་ཁོ་ན་ལ་ལངས་ཏེ་ཞོ་ཤས་འཚོ་བ་རྣམས་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེས་ལྡན་དག་རྒྱལ་པོ་དེ་དཔུང་ཆེན་པོ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཡིན་ན་དེས་མ་སྦྲན་པ་ཁོ་ནར་འོངས་པ་ཁྱེད་ཅག་སུས་ཀྱང་མ་ཤེས་སོ། །དེས་སྨྲས་པ། ལྷ་དེ་ལ་དཔུང་ག་ལ་མཆིས་ཏེ་དཔོན་གཡོག་གཉིས་པུ་ཞིག་མཆིས་སོ། །རྒྱལ་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་སྙིང་པོས་བསམས་པ། གང་གི་ཕྱིར་བདག་གིས་རྒྱལ་པོ་རྒྱལ་རིགས་སྤྱི་བོར་དབང་བསྐུར་བ་བགྱིས་ན་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་དུ་གཞུག་པ་ནི་བདག་གི་ཚུལ་དང་མཐུན་པ་མ་ཡིན་གྱིས། བདག་གིས་བཀུར་སྟི་ཆེན་པོས་འཇུག་ཏུ་གཞུག་གོ་སྙམ་དུ་རིག་ནས། ལམ་མཛེས་པ་དང་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་མཛེས་པར་བྱེད་དུ་བཅུག་ནས་དཔུང་གི་ཚོགས་ཡན་ལག་བཞི་པས་བསུའོ། །དེ་ནས་གཉའ་བ་སྤྲད་དེ་གླང་པོ་ཆེའི་རྒྱབ་ཏུ་ཞོན་ནས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ཏུ་བཅུག་སྟེ། སྤོས་སྣ་ཚོགས་དང་སྦྱར་བའི་ཆུས་ཁྲུས་བྱེད་དུ་བཅུག་ནས་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་འོས་པའི་གོས་དག་དང་། སྤོས་དང་། ཕྲེང་བ་རྒྱུ་དང་། བྱུག་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་དག་གིས་ལེགས་པར་བརྒྱན་ནས་ཟན་བྱིན་ཏེ་ལམ་གྱིས་དུབ་པའི་ངལ་བསོས་ནས་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེད་མཐུན་དགྱེས་པས་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་རྒྱས་པ་དང་། བཙུན་མོའི་འཁོར་དང་། གཞོན་ནུ་དང་། བློན་པོ་དང་ཕོ་བྲང་འཁོར་གྱི་མི་རྣམས་སྤངས་ཏེ་འདིར་ཅི་ལ་བྱོན། ས་གཞན་གྱི་རྒྱལ་པོ་འགའ་ཞིག་གིས་ཡུལ་འཁོར་གཞོམ་པར་བགྱིས་པའམ། གཞོན་ནུ་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་ལ་མངོན་པར་དགའ་བ་བློན་པོ་སྐྱོན་ཆགས་པས་བསླུས་པ་འགའ་ཞིག་གིས་བརྟུལ་བའམ་གཅིག་ཏུ་མ་གྱུར་ཏམ། དེས་སྨྲས་པ། ཤེད་མཐུན་དགྱེས་པ་དེ་ལྟར་མ་གྱུར་ཏེ། བདག་ལེགས་པར་གསུངས་པའི་ཆོས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བ་དང་རྫོགས་པར་བསྙེན་པ་དགེ་སློང་གི་དངོས་པོ་འཚལ་ལོ། །རྒྱལ་པོ་གཟུགས་ཅན་སྙིང་པོས་ཐོས་ནས་ཡིད་དགའ་ཞིང་དགའ་སྟེ། རོ་སྟོད་ བསྲང་ནས་ལག་པ་གཡས་པ་བརྐྱང་སྟེ། ཀྱེ་མ་སངས་རྒྱས། ཀྱེ་མ་ཆོས། ཀྱེ་མ་དགེ་འདུན། ཀྱེ་མ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་ལེགས་པར་གསུངས་པ་ཉིད་འདི་ལྟར་སྐྱེས་བུ་གཙོ་བོ་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་དག་གིས་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་རྒྱས་པ་དང་། བཙུན་མོའི་འཁོར་རྒྱས་པ་དང་། མཛའ་བཤེས་དང་། རྩ་ལག་གི་ཚོགས་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ་དང་། མཛོད་དང་། བང་བ་དང་། ཁྱིམ་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོ་དག་སྤངས་ཏེ་ལེགས་པར་གསུངས་པའི་ཆོས་འདུལ་བ་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བ་དང་རྫོགས་པར་བསྙེན་པ་དགེ་སློང་གི་དངོས་པོ་འདོད་པ་ངོ་མཚར་ཆེའོ་ཞེས་ལན་གསུམ་ཆེད་དུ་བརྗོད་པ་ཆེད་དུ

Then, King Utrayana placed the young Crown Prince on the throne and asked for forgiveness from all the people, and gave alms to monks, Brahmins, the poor, and the suffering. He performed virtuous deeds, did not flatter anyone, and went to the palace alone. Then, the Crown Prince, with his queen's entourage, young people, ministers, and the people around the palace, as well as other crowds of people who had come from different places, followed him closely. Countless beings escorted him, coming out of the noisy city, to a pleasure garden adorned with various trees and groves, with flowers, fruits, and various streams, and with swans, cranes, peacocks, parrots, squirrels, cuckoos, and mynah birds making sounds. He stayed there for a moment, looking back at the noisy city, and said to the Crown Prince, "Son, I have allowed you to rule the country with Dharma, and that is why so many beings are following me. You should also rule the country with Dharma." He also comforted the crowd, saying, "Wise people, I have appointed this person as your king, so from today on, live well." Having said this, he left. The Crown Prince, with his queen's entourage, young people, ministers, and the people around the palace, as well as the crowds of people who had come from different places, with tearful eyes, looked back at him again and again, and then returned to the noisy city. Then, King Utrayana gradually went to Rajagriha, and he stopped in the pleasure garden and said to that person, "Go and inform King Bimbisara that King Utrayana is staying in the pleasure garden." It was reported that the god-king Utrayana was staying in the pleasure garden in the grove. Hearing this, he immediately got up and said to those who lived on milk porridge: "Wise ones, if that king had a large army, none of you would have known that he came without being announced." They said: "That god has no army, only two servants." The king with a body thought: "Since I have performed the enthronement ceremony for the king, the head of the royal family, it is not in accordance with my custom to enter the city like this. I should have him enter with great respect." Thinking this, he had the roads and the city decorated, and then greeted him with a four-part army. Then, after exchanging greetings, he rode on the back of an elephant and entered the king's capital. He had him bathed with water mixed with various perfumes, and then carefully adorned him with clothes suitable for a king, perfumes, garlands, ornaments, and various unguents, and gave him food. After relieving the fatigue of the journey, he said: "Victor, why have you come here, abandoning your prosperous kingdom, your retinue of consorts, young men, ministers, and palace attendants? Has some king from another land invaded your territory, or have you been deceived by a flawed minister because you are young and greedy for the throne, or is it because of discord?" He said: "Victor, it is not so. I seek the status of a monk who has renounced and taken full ordination in the well-spoken Dharma and Vinaya." Hearing this, the king with a body was filled with joy and delight. He straightened his upper body, extended his right hand, and said: "Alas, Buddha! (藏文སངས་རྒྱས།，梵文देवनागरी，梵文罗马转写buddha，汉语字面意思Awakened One) Alas, Dharma! (藏文ཆོས།，梵文देवनागरी，梵文罗马转写dharma，汉语字面意思Righteous Law) Alas, Sangha! (藏文དགེ་འདུན།，梵文देवनागरी，梵文罗马转写saṃgha，汉语字面意思Community) Alas, the well-spoken Dharma! It is truly amazing that such great men would abandon a prosperous kingdom, a flourishing retinue of consorts, friends, a vast group of relatives, and treasures, granaries, and vast homes, and desire the status of a monk who has renounced and taken full ordination in the well-spoken Dharma and Vinaya!" He repeated this three times.
