That householder finished trading, took his payment, and left with Well-Come. Well-Come also left with him. After some time, those companions began to fight, and the oxen also began to fight. They said, 'Wise ones, we used to love each other when we saw each other, but now we start fighting when we see each other, and the oxen also start fighting when they see each other. Could it be that something bad has come here?' They looked around, and when they saw Well-Come coming there, they said, 'Wise ones, this is not Well-Come, but Ill-Come. Because of him, we have started fighting, and the oxen are also starting to fight.' They began to drive him away, but the householder said, 'Wise ones, this is the son of my childhood friend, don't drive him away.' They said, 'Householder, you may have control over the companions, but we dare not go with him. If he goes, we will not go.' That householder said to Well-Come, 'Son, follow behind and come, and I will leave food for you.' As Well-Come followed behind, that householder also placed food for him, some on the ground covered with earth, and some on the branches of trees covered with leaves. The food that was placed on the ground covered with earth was eaten by foxes. The food that was placed on the branches of trees covered with leaves was eaten by birds and monkeys, and Well-Come got very little, mostly not getting any, so he was very miserable.
