Even if regret does not arise, the bhikshu will commit an offense entailing expiation. A bhikshu, with the intention of causing regret to a bhikshu, goes to him and asks, 'Venerable one, where did you receive full ordination?' If he says, 'In such and such a place,' and then says, 'That place was not delimited, and there was no agreement among the sangha, so the venerable one did not receive full ordination, but wrongly received full ordination, so you should receive full ordination again.' If he says this, whether the bhikshu experiences regret or not, the bhikshu will commit an offense entailing expiation. A bhikshu, with the intention of causing regret to a bhikshu, goes to him and asks, 'Who is the venerable one's preceptor? Who is the teacher?' If he says, 'The preceptor is so-and-so, the teacher is so-and-so,' and then says, 'Those two are immoral, so the venerable one did not receive full ordination, but wrongly received full ordination, so you should receive full ordination again.' If he says this, whether the bhikshu experiences regret or not, the bhikshu will commit an offense entailing expiation. A bhikshu, with the intention of causing regret to a bhikshu, goes to him and asks, 'Venerable one, are you going to such and such a direction?' If he says, 'I am going,' and then says, 'That is a place frequented by robbers, so the venerable one has committed an offense entailing defeat.' If he says this, whether the bhikshu experiences regret or not, the bhikshu will commit an offense entailing expiation. A bhikshu, with the intention of causing regret to a bhikshu, goes to him and asks, 'Venerable one, did you take the robes of the teacher and the preceptor?' If he says, 'I took them,' and then says, 'The venerable one took them with the intention of stealing, so the venerable one has committed an offense entailing defeat.' If he says this, whether the bhikshu experiences regret or not, the bhikshu will commit an offense entailing expiation. A bhikshu, with the intention of causing regret to a bhikshu, goes to him and asks, 'Venerable one, did you say in the sangha, "All conditioned things are impermanent, all dharmas are without self, nirvana is peace"?' If he says, 'I said it,' and then says, 'The venerable one spoke of a superior human dharma, so the venerable one'
