དུག་ཅིང་ཕ་རོལ་གནོན་པར་གྱུར་པ་དེའི་ཚེ་ན་དེ་དག་བདག་ཅག་ལ་གནོད་པ་བྱ་བར་སེམས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །འཆར་ཀས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁོ་བོས་དེ་དག་ཅི་ནས་ཀྱང་ཐོས་པ་འཛིན་པར་མི་འགྱུར་བ་དང་། ཐོས་པ་བཟུང་བ་ལས་ཀྱང་ཡོངས་སུ་ཉམས་པར་འགྱུར་བ་དེ་ལྟར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་དེ་དག་གི་གན་དུ་སོང་སྟེ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨྲས་སོ། །ཀྱེ་བཅུ་བདུན་སྡེ་དག་ཤིན་ཏུ་བརྩོན་འགྲུས་བརྩམས་སམ། དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། བརྩམས་སོ། །བརྩོན་འགྲུས་ཀྱིས་ཅི་བྱ། ཐོས་པ་བཟུང་ངོ་། །ཐོས་པ་བཟུང་བས་ཅིར་འགྱུར། མང་དུ་ཐོས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །མང་དུ་ཐོས་པས་ཅིར་འགྱུར། དབང་པོ་ཡོངས་སུ་སྨིན་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དབང་པོ་ཡོངས་སུ་སྨིན་པས་ཅིར་འགྱུར། ངེས་པ་ལ་འཇུག་པ་དང་། ཟག་པ་ཟད་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཁྱེད་ངེས་པ་ལ་འཇུག་པ་དང་། ཟག་པ་ཟད་པར་འགྱུར་རེ་སྐན། བཙུན་པ་འཆར་ཀ་ཁོ་བོ་ཅག་མཚམས་མེད་པའི་ལས་དག་བྱས་པའམ། དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་ཆད་པ་ཡིན་ནམ་ཅི། ཁྱེད་ཅག་འཚམས་མེད་པའི་ལས་དག་བྱས་པ་ཡང་མ་ཡིན། དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་ཆད་པ་ཡང་མ་ཡིན་མོད་ཀྱི་འོན་ཀྱང་ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཡང་དགེ་སློང་གང་གང་ཟག་ལོ་ཉི་ཤུ་མ་ལོན་པ་དག་དགེ་སློང་གི་དངོས་པོར་རྫོགས་པར་བསྙེན་པར་བྱེད་ན་གང་ཟག་དེ་ཡང་རྫོགས་པར་བསྙེན་པར་མི་འགྱུར་ལ། དགེ་སློང་དེ་དག་ཀྱང་སྨད་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཞེས་གསུངས་པ་མ་ཐོས་སམ། ཁྱེད་ཅག་ལོ་ཉི་ཤུ་མ་ལོན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་བསྙེན་པས་ཁྱེད་ཅག་ངེས་པ་ལ་འཇུག་པ་དང་། ཟག་པ་ཟད་པར་འགྱུར་རེ་སྐན། དེ་དག་གིས་དེ་ཐོས་ནས་སེམས་ཁོང་དུ་ཆུད་ཅིང་འཁོད་པ་དང་། དེ་དག་གི་སློབ་དཔོན་འོངས་ནས་དེས་སྨྲས་པ། གཞོན་ནུ་དག་ཅིའི་ཕྱིར་སེམས་ཁོང་དུ་ཆུད་ཅིང་འཁོད། ཚུར་ཤོག་ལ་ཐོས་པ་ཟུང་ཤིག །དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། སློབ་དཔོན་ཐོས་པ་བཟུང་བས་ཅིར་འགྱུར། མང་དུ་ཐོས་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །མང་དུ་ཐོས་པས་ཅིར་འགྱུར། དབང་པོ་ཡོངས་སུ་སྨིན་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དབང་པོ་ཡོངས་སུ་སྨིན་པས་ཅིར་འགྱུར། ངེས་པ་ ལ་འཇུག་པ་དང་། ཟག་པ་ཟད་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། སློབ་དཔོན་བདག་ཅག་ངེས་པ་ལ་འཇུག་པ་དང་། ཟག་པ་ཟད་པར་འགྱུར་རེ་སྐན། ཁྱེད་ཅག་མཚམས་མེད་པའི་ལས་དག་བྱས་པ་དང་། དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་ཆད་པ་ཡིན་ནམ་ཅི། དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། སློབ་དཔོན་བདག་ཅག་མཚམས་མ་མཆིས་པའི་ལས་དག་བགྱིས་པ་ཡང་མ་ལགས། དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་ཆད་པ་ཡང་མ་ལགས་མོད་ཀྱི། འོན་ཀྱང་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཡང་དགེ་སློང་གང་གང་ཟག་ལོ་ཉི་ཤུ་མ་ལོན་པ་དགེ་སློང་གི་དངོ

毒害且能压制他者之时，彼等会思虑对我等造成损害。迦罗迦说道：我务必令彼等无法受持听闻，并且令已受持者也完全退失，如此这般说完之后，便前往彼等处，说了这样的话：喂，十七众，你们非常精进吗？彼等说道：精进了。精进做什么？受持听闻。受持听闻会怎样？会多闻。多闻会怎样？根会完全成熟。根完全成熟会怎样？会趣入决定，并且漏尽。你们能趣入决定，并且漏尽吗？尊者迦罗迦，我们造作了无间罪业吗？或者断绝了善根吗？你们既没有造作无间罪业，也没有断绝善根，然而你们没有听闻世尊曾说：凡是比丘，若有人未满二十岁而受比丘具足戒，则此人不得受具足戒，而且这些比丘也会被呵责。你们未满二十岁便受具足戒，你们能趣入决定，并且漏尽吗？彼等听闻之后，内心沮丧且沉默。彼等的导师来了，说道：年轻人，为何内心沮丧且沉默？过来，受持听闻。彼等说道：导师，受持听闻会怎样？会多闻。多闻会怎样？根会完全成熟。根完全成熟会怎样？会趣入决定，并且漏尽。彼等说道：导师，我们能趣入决定，并且漏尽吗？你们造作了无间罪业吗？或者断绝了善根吗？彼等说道：导师，我们没有造作无间罪业，也没有断绝善根，然而世尊曾说：凡是比丘，若有人未满二十岁而受比丘的...

When it is poisonous and able to suppress others, they will think of harming us. Kalaka said: I must make them unable to hold on to what they have heard, and also make those who have already held on to it completely degenerate. After saying this, he went to them and said: Hey, seventeen groups, are you very diligent? They said: We are diligent. What do you do with diligence? Holding on to what you have heard. What will happen by holding on to what you have heard? You will become learned. What will happen by becoming learned? The faculties will become fully mature. What will happen by the faculties becoming fully mature? You will enter into certainty and exhaust the outflows. Can you enter into certainty and exhaust the outflows? Venerable Kalaka, have we committed the deeds of immediate retribution? Or have we cut off the roots of virtue? You have not committed the deeds of immediate retribution, nor have you cut off the roots of virtue, but have you not heard that the Blessed One said: If a monk who has not reached the age of twenty receives the full ordination of a monk, then that person will not be fully ordained, and those monks will also be blamed. You have received full ordination before the age of twenty, can you enter into certainty and exhaust the outflows? After hearing this, they were discouraged and silent. Their teacher came and said: Young men, why are you discouraged and silent? Come here and hold on to what you have heard. They said: Teacher, what will happen by holding on to what you have heard?
