ན་སེང་གེ་ལྷའི་བུ་དེ་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་ཏེ། གང་གི་ཕྱིར་བདག་ཡོངས་སུ་གནས་པ་བསྟེན་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་བལྟ་བ་དང་། བསྙེན་བཀུར་བྱ་བའི་ཕྱིར་ཉེ་བར་འགྲོ་བ་ནི་བདག་གི་ཚུལ་དང་མཐུན་པ་མ་ཡིན་གྱིས་བདག་ཡོངས་སུ་གནས་པ་མ་བསྟེན་པ་ཁོ་ནར་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་བལྟ་བ་དང་། བསྙེན་བཀུར་བྱ་བའི་ཕྱིར་ཉེ་བར་འགྲོའོ་སྙམ་མོ། །དེ་ནས་སྔོན་སེང་གེ་ལྷའི་བུ་རྣ་ཆ་གདུབ་ཀོར་གཡོ་ཞིང་དྲི་མ་མེད་པ་ཐོགས་ཏེ། དོ་ཤལ་དང་། སེ་མོ་དོས་བརྒྱན་པའི་ལུས་ཀྱིས་ལྷའི་ཨུཏྤ་ལ་དང་། པད་མ་དང་། ཀུ་མུ་ད་དང་། པད་མ་དཀར་པོ་དག་གིས་ཐུ་བ་བཀང་སྟེ། ཁ་དོག་ཤིན་ཏུ་འདས་པས་མཚན་མོ་ལ་བབ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་སོང་སྟེ་ཕྱིན་ནས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་མེ་ཏོག་དག་གིས་མངོན་པར་གཏོར་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱི་ཞབས་གཉིས་ལ་མགོ་བོས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ནས་མཐའ་གཅིག་ཏུ་འདུག་པ་དང་། འདི་ལྟར་སྔོན་སེང་གེ་ལྷའི་བུའི་ཁ་དོག་གི་མཐུས་གྲོང་མེད་པའི་དགོན་པའི་གནས་ཐམས་ཅད་སྣང་བ་རྒྱ་ཆེན་པོས་ཁྱབ་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་སྔོན་སེང་གེ་ལྷའི་བུའི་བསམ་པ་དང་། བག་ལ་ཉལ་དང་། ཁམས་དང་། རང་བཞིན་ཐུགས་སུ་ཆུད་ནས་གང་ཐོས་ནས་སྔོན་སེང་གེ་ལྷའི་བུས་སྟན་དེ་ཉིད་ལ་འདུག་བཞིན་དུ་འཇིག་ཚོགས་ལ་ལྟ་བའི་རིའི་རྩེ་མོ་ཉི་ཤུ་མཐོ་བ་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་རྡོ་རྗེས་བཅོམ་སྟེ་རྒྱུན་དུ་ཞུགས་པའི་འབྲས་བུ་མངོན་སུམ་དུ་བྱས་པ་དེ་ལྟ་བུར་འཕགས་པའི་བདེན་པ་བཞི་ཡང་དག་པར་སོ་སོར་རྟོག་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ཆོས་བསྟན་པ་མཛད་དོ། །དེས་བདེན་པ་མཐོང་ནས་བཙུན་པ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བདག་ལ་གང་མཛད་པ་འདི་ལྟ་བུ་ནི་བདག་ལ་ཕས་ཀྱང་མ་བགྱིས། མས་ཀྱང་མ་བགྱིས། རྒྱལ་པོས་ཀྱང་མ་བགྱིས། ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་མ་བགྱིས། སྔོན་གྱི་ཕ་མེས་དག་གིས་ཀྱང་མ་བགྱིས། དགེ་སྦྱོང་དང་བྲམ་ཟེ་དག་གིས་ཀྱང་མ་བགྱིས། བྱམས་པ་དང་། མཛའ་བཤེས་དང་། རྩ་ལག་གི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་མ་བགྱིས་ཏེ། ཁྲག་དང་མཆི་མའི་རྒྱ་མཚོ་ནི་བསྐམས། རུས་པའི་རི་དག་ལས་ནི་བསྒྲལ་ ངན་སོང་གི་སྒོ་དག་ནི་བཀུམ། མཐོ་རིས་དང་ཐར་པའི་སྒོ་དག་ནི་ཕྱེ། སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་དང་། དུད་འགྲོ་དང་། ཡི་དགས་དག་ནས་ནི་རྐང་པ་ཕྱུང་། ལྷ་དང་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ནང་དུ་ནི་བཞག་གོ་ཞེས་ལན་གསུམ་དུ་ཆེད་དུ་བརྗོད་པ་ཆེད་དུ་བརྗོད་དོ། །ཡང་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱོད་མཐུས་རབ་དྲག་ཉེས་པ་མང་ལྡན་པའི། །ངན་སོང་ཤུལ་བཀག་བསོད་ནམས་རབ་ལྡན་པའི། །མཐོ་རིས་འགྲོ་བ་ཕྱེ་ཞིང་བདག་གི

那狮子天子这样想：我为了侍奉、瞻仰世尊而接近，如果依靠神通前往，与我的行为不符，我唯有不依靠神通，才去侍奉、瞻仰世尊。然后，先前的狮子天子拿着摇动且无垢的耳环，以装饰着项链和臂钏的身体，用天界的乌 উৎপ་ལ་（藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思），莲花， कुमुद（藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思），和白莲花装满手臂，颜色极其超胜，如同夜晚降临。他前往世尊所在之处，到达后，用鲜花供养世尊，以头顶礼世尊双足，然后在一旁坐下。像这样，先前狮子天子的光芒，使空旷的寂静处所全部被广大的光明所照亮。然后，世尊了解了先前狮子天子的想法、习气、根性和自性，听闻之后，先前狮子天子坐在那个座位上，世尊就为他开示了正法，以智慧金刚摧毁了二十座高耸的坏聚见山顶，使他现证了入流果，从而能够如实地分别证悟四圣谛。他证悟真谛后说道：尊者世尊为我所做之事，是父亲未曾为我做过的，母亲未曾为我做过的，国王未曾为我做过的，诸天未曾为我做过的，先前的祖先们未曾为我做过的，沙门和婆罗门未曾为我做过的，慈爱者、朋友和亲眷们也未曾为我做过的。他使血和眼泪的海洋干涸，从骨骸之山中解脱， 关闭了恶趣之门，开启了天界和解脱之门，从地狱、畜生和饿鬼道中拔出众生，安置于天人和人道之中。像这样，他说了三遍发自内心的赞颂之词。又说：您以强大的力量，阻断了充满罪恶的恶趣之路，开启了充满福德的天界之路，

Then the lion son of gods thought thus: 'To approach the Blessed One for the sake of attending and beholding him, if I go by relying on my full abiding, it is not in accordance with my conduct. I will approach the Blessed One for the sake of attending and beholding him only without relying on my full abiding.' Then, the former lion son of gods, holding immaculate earrings that swayed, with a body adorned with necklaces and armlets, filling his arms with divine উৎপ་ལ་ (utpala, 梵文：उत्पल, উৎপল，blue lotus), lotuses, कुमुद (kumuda, 梵文：कुमुद, কুমুদ，night lotus), and white lotuses, with a color that greatly surpassed, as if night had fallen, went to where the Blessed One was, and having gone, scattered flowers upon the Blessed One, bowed his head at the two feet of the Blessed One, and sat to one side. Thus, the power of the color of the former lion son of gods caused all the places of the solitary hermitage to be pervaded by a vast light. Then, the Blessed One, having understood the thoughts, predispositions, elements, and nature of the former lion son of gods, and having heard, while the former lion son of gods was sitting on that seat, he taught the Dharma that perfectly distinguishes the four noble truths, having shattered the twenty high peaks of the mountain of the view of the aggregates with the vajra of wisdom, thus making manifest the fruit of stream-entry. Having seen the truth, he said, 'Venerable Blessed One, what you have done for me, such a thing has not been done for me by a father, nor has it been done by a mother, nor has it been done by a king, nor has it been done by the gods, nor has it been done by former ancestors, nor has it been done by ascetics and brahmins, nor has it been done by loving ones, friends, and assemblies of relatives. He has dried up the ocean of blood and tears, delivered us from the mountain of bones, closed the doors of the evil destinies, opened the doors of heaven and liberation, pulled beings out from hell, animals, and hungry ghosts, and placed them in the midst of gods and humans.' Thus, he spoke three times with heartfelt praise. Again he said: 'You, with your great power, have blocked the path of evil destinies, which is full of many faults, and opened the path to heaven, which is full of merit.'

此地啊！也获得了证得涅槃的处所。完全清净的您作为所依，我今天获得了无过失清净的眼睛，获得了寂静的圣者果位，将超越痛苦的海洋。对于众生，天人、非天、人和天所供养的，远离生老病死者，将有为法视为空性，极其罕见者，今天见到了能仁您，真是具有果报啊！之后，以璎珞项链悬挂着，向佛陀的双足顶礼，生起了欢喜，然后，战胜了敌人，从右绕行，前往了天界显现的方向。之后，先前的狮子天子就像商人获得了利润，农夫获得了丰收，勇士从战争中彻底获胜，病人从一切疾病中彻底解脱一样，以什么样的装束来到世尊面前，就以同样的装束回到了自己的住所。诸比丘，那些夜晚的上半夜和下半夜不睡觉，而是精进修习的人们，他们看见了世尊面前被巨大的光明所照亮。看见后，带着疑惑的心，当夜晚过去黎明到来时，请问世尊：世尊，这是什么缘故？昨晚三千世界之主梵天，或者天界之主帝释天，或者四大天王，或者具有巨大财富和力量的其他天子前来拜见世尊吗？世尊回答说：诸比丘，并非三千世界之主梵天为了拜见我而前来，也不是天界之主帝释天，也不是四大天王，也不是具有巨大财富和力量的其他天子。诸比丘，你们看见我曾经为山中之王狮子宣说了三句法吗？世尊，我们看见了。诸比丘，那狮子死后转生到了四大天王的天众之中，昨晚来到了我这里，我为它宣说了佛法，它证悟了真谛，然后回到了自己的住所。诸比丘们生起了疑惑，于是向断除一切疑惑的佛陀世尊请教：尊者，先前的狮子天子啊！

This place! It has also become a place to attain Nirvana. Relying on you, who are utterly pure, today I have obtained flawless, pure eyes, attained the peaceful state of the noble ones, and will cross the ocean of suffering. To beings, the one who is worshiped by gods, demigods, humans, and gods, the one who is free from birth, aging, sickness, and death, the one who sees existence as emptiness, the one who is extremely rare, today seeing you, the capable one, is truly fruitful! Then, with a necklace of jewels hanging down, he prostrated at the feet, and joy arose. Then, having conquered the enemy, he circumambulated from the right, and went towards the sky, the direction where the realm of the gods manifests. Then, the former Lion Son of the Gods was like a merchant who had gained profit, a farmer who had obtained a rich harvest, a hero who had completely triumphed in battle, and a sick person who had been completely freed from all diseases. In whatever attire he had come before the Blessed One, in that very attire he returned to his own abode. Monks, those who do not sleep in the upper and lower parts of the night, but diligently abide in the practice, saw the Blessed One's presence pervaded by a great light. Having seen this, with minds filled with doubt, when the night had passed and dawn had arrived, they asked the Blessed One: Blessed One, what is the reason? Last night, did the master of the Sahā world, Brahmā, or the lord of the gods, Indra, or the Four Great Kings, or another son of the gods with great wealth and power come near to see the Blessed One? The Blessed One replied: Monks, it was not Brahmā, the master of the Sahā world, who came near to see me, nor was it Indra, the lord of the gods, nor the Four Great Kings, nor another son of the gods with great wealth and power. Monks, did you see how I taught the three phrases of Dharma to the lion, the king of beasts, in the mountains? Blessed One, we saw it. Monks, that lion, having died and transmigrated, was born among the gods of the Four Great Kings, and last night he came to me. I taught him the Dharma, and he saw the truth, and then returned to his own abode. The monks were filled with doubt, and so they asked the Blessed One, the Buddha, who cuts through all doubts: Venerable One, the former Lion Son of the Gods...
