པ། །རྒྱལ་བ་དགྲ་ཐུལ་བྱེད་རྒྱུ་མ་མཆིས་པར། །རྩ་ལག་དུང་ལྟར་དཀར་འཛུམ་སྟོན་མི་མཛད། །དེ་སླད་སྟོན་པ་རང་བློས་དུས་མཁྱེན་ནས། །ཐུབ་པ་ཁྱུ་མཆོག་དགེ་སྦྱོང་སྐྱེ་དབང་པོ། །ཉན་པའི་སྐྱེ་བོ་སོམ་ཉི་ལྡན་རྣམས་ལ། །ཐེ་ཚོམ་སྐྱེས་པ་གསུང་ཚིག་བརྟན་པ་དང་། །དམ་པ་དགེ་བ་དག་གིས་བསལ་དུ་གསོལ། །ཚྭ་ཆུའི་རི་རྒྱལ་ལྟ་བུར་བརྟན་པ་ཡི། །སངས་རྒྱས་མགོན་རྣམས་བློ་བུར་འཛུམ་མི་སྟོན། །བརྟན་རྣམས་ཇི་སླད་འཛུམ་པ་སྟོན་མཛད་པ། །སྐྱེ་བོའི་ཚོགས་རྣམས་དེ་ནི་ཉན་པར་འཚལ། །བཙུན་པ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་རྣམས་ནི་རྒྱུ་མ་མཆིས། རྐྱེན་མ་མཆིས་པར་འཛུམ་པ་མི་མཛད་ན། བཙུན་པ་འཛུམ་པ་མཛད་པའི་རྒྱུ་ནི་གང་ལགས། རྐྱེན་ནི་གང་ལགས། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་དེ་དེ་བཞིན་ནོ། །དེ་དེ་བཞིན་ཏེ། ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་དགྲ་བཅོམ་པ་ཡང་དག་པར་རྫོགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་རྣམས་ནི་རྒྱུ་མེད་རྐྱེན་མེད་པར་འཛུམ་པ་མི་མཛད་དོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་གང་དག་གིས་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་བསེལ་བྱས་པའི་བྱིས་པ་ཁྱེའུ་གཉིས་མཐོང་ངམ། བཙུན་པ་མཐོང་ངོ་། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་ཁྱེའུ་དེ་གཉིས་ནི་དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་འདི་དང་། ལེགས་པར་སྤྱད་པ་འདིས་བསྐལ་པ་བཅུ་གསུམ་དུ་ལོག་པར་ལྟུང་བར་འགྲོ་བར་མི་འགྱུར་ཞིང་། དེ་གཉིས་ལྷ་དང་མི་རྣམས་སུ་ཉིང་མཚམས་སྦྱོར་ཅིང་འཁོར་ནས་སྲིད་པ་ཐ་མ་དང་། གནས་ཐ་མ་དང་། གཟུགས་ཐ་མ་དང་། ལུས་ཐ་མ་ཐོབ་པ་ན་ལས་དེ་ཉིད་དང་། དགེ་བའི་རྩ་བ་དེ་ཉིད་དང་། ལེགས་པར་སྤྱད་པ་དེ་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ནས་རང་བྱང་ཆུབ་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་པར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། གཅིག་ནི་རང་སངས་རྒྱས་རྔ་སྒྲ་ཞེས་བྱ་བར་འགྱུར། ཅིག་ཤོས་ནི་རང་སངས་རྒྱས་མི་འཇིགས་སྦྱིན་ཞེས་བྱ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་མེད་པའི་དགོན་པའི་གནས་ཤིག་ཏུ་མཚན་མོ་གནས་ པར་ཞལ་གྱིས་བཞེས་སོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་ཤིང་ལྗོན་པ་ཡང་རྒན་རིམས་ཀྱིས་བསྐོར་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པས་དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་གིས་ཤིང་ལྗོན་པ་ཁོང་སྟོང་ཞིག་ཐོབ་ནས། དེ་དག་གྲང་བ་དག་གིས་ཤིང་ལྗོན་པ་ཁོང་སྟོང་དེ་ལ་མེ་བཏང་བ་དང་། ཤིང་ལྗོན་པ་ཁོང་སྟོང་དེ་ལ་སྦྲུལ་དུག་མྱུར་དུ་ཁྱབ་པར་བྱེད་པ་ཞིག་གནས་པ་དེ་དུ་བས་དཀྲུགས་ནས་སྟེང་གི་ཡལ་ག་ལ་འཛེགས་ཏེ་འཕྱང་ཞིང་འདུག་གོ། །དྲུག་སྡེ་དག་གིས་དེ་འཕྱང་ཞིང་འདུག་པ་མཐོང་ནས། དེ་དག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། བྱུང

啊！ 战胜者没有征服敌人的因由， 就不显露如海螺般洁白的牙齿的微笑。 因此导师以自己的智慧知晓时机， 能够者中的殊胜者，苦行者中的自在者。 对于具有疑虑的听众们， 以坚定的言辞和神圣的善行来消除他们的疑惑。 如同盐水海中的山王般稳固的， 诸佛怙主不会无缘无故地显露微笑。 诸位稳重者，为了什么缘故而显露微笑呢？ 愿听众们都来倾听。 诸位比丘，如来、阿罗汉、正等觉者们，没有因，没有缘，不会显露微笑。 诸位比丘，显露微笑的原因是什么？ 缘是什么？ 世尊开示说： 具寿阿难陀，正是这样，正是这样。 具寿阿难陀，如来、阿罗汉、正等觉者们，不会无因无缘地显露微笑。 阿难陀，你看到那两个对如来作了布施的小孩了吗？ 尊者，看到了。 阿难陀，这两个小孩以这个善根和善行，十三劫中不会堕入恶道。 这两个小孩在天人和人中轮回，获得最后的有、最后的地方、最后的形体、最后的身体时，会以那个业、那个善根和那个善行出家，现证独觉菩提。 其中一个会成为名叫鼓声的独觉佛，另一个会成为名叫无畏施的独觉佛。 然后，世尊答应在一个没有城市的寂静处过夜。 世尊开示说，树木也应该用老旧的布包裹起来。 六群比丘们找到了一棵空心的树，他们因为寒冷，在那棵空心的树里点火。 一条毒蛇迅速地在那棵空心的树里蔓延，它被烟熏扰，爬到上面的树枝上悬挂着。 六群比丘们看到它悬挂着，说道：发生了！

Ah! Without the cause of the Victorious One subduing the enemy, He does not show a smile with teeth as white as a conch shell. Therefore, the Teacher, knowing the time with His own wisdom, The best of the able ones, the master of ascetics. To the listeners who have doubts, May their doubts be dispelled by firm words and sacred virtues. Like the king of mountains in the salt sea, The Buddha protectors do not show a sudden smile. For what reason do the steadfast ones show a smile? May the assembly of beings listen to this. Monks, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Ones, do not smile without a cause or condition. Monks, what is the cause of smiling? What is the condition? The Blessed One said: Ananda, it is so, it is so. Ananda, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Ones, do not smile without a cause or condition. Ananda, did you see the two children who made offerings to the Tathagata? Venerable One, I saw them. Ananda, these two children, with this root of virtue and good conduct, will not fall into evil realms for thirteen kalpas. These two children, transmigrating among gods and humans, when they obtain their last existence, last place, last form, and last body, will renounce and realize Pratyekabuddhahood through that very action, that very root of virtue, and that very good conduct. One will become a Pratyekabuddha named Drum Sound, and the other will become a Pratyekabuddha named Fearless Giving. Then, the Blessed One agreed to spend the night in a solitary place without a city. The Blessed One said that trees should also be wrapped with old cloth. The group of six monks found a hollow tree, and because they were cold, they lit a fire in that hollow tree. A poisonous snake quickly spread through that hollow tree, and disturbed by the smoke, it climbed onto the upper branches and hung there. The group of six monks saw it hanging there and said: It happened!
