If he is stingy and doesn't give, I will go again and again to punish him. He thought: If I don't give him the repair fee, he will come again and again to punish the children. So, he sold all the musical instruments and gave him the repair fee, feeling content in his heart and sitting down. After some time, his little friend came and asked him: Friend, why are you sitting content? He said: I was beaten by punishment. By whom? By the renunciates of the sons of Shakya. Why? He explained the situation in detail. That the behavior of the renunciates of the sons of Shakya is speech! The behavior of the Brahmins is speech! Like this, the teachers of musicians also beat with punishment! They curse, hiss, and speak ill. This also happened for a while, the Blessed One Buddha did not temporarily establish the basis of training for the disciples to be tamed. Then, the Blessed One stayed as he pleased in Rajagriha (mid-6th century BC), and in order to travel, he went to Vaishali (an ancient city in Bihar, northern India), gradually traveling, and when he arrived in Vaishali, he stayed in the pavilion by the monkey pond in Vaishali. Upali, in the morning, put on his lower garment, took his bowl and Dharma robes, and entered Vaishali for alms. Many Licchavi children also came out of Vaishali, and outside of Vaishali, they put all the ornaments together and started playing. When Upali saw this, he thought it was the wealth of the Yakshas, so he took all the ornaments and left. The Licchavi children of Vaishali, some grabbed Upali's hand, some grabbed his feet, and some grabbed his Dharma robes, saying: Venerable, why are you stealing our ornaments? A great Licchavi saw the Licchavi children of Vaishali grabbing Upali and beating him, so he said: Children, why are you beating Venerable Upali? They said: He stole our ornaments. He said: Venerable Upali, why did you steal the children's ornaments? Upali said: I thought it was the

This treasure was found. He said: This seems like the treasure of a Yaksha, how dreadful! Ornaments of young people, don't snatch it, put it down! Nede discarded that and went to the monastery with Dharma robes covered in dust. The monks said to him: Venerable Nede, why are you covered in dust? Nede said: May the great Licchavi be without illness! I obtained the treasure of a Yaksha, therefore I discarded it. This also happened for a while, the Buddha Bhagavan for a while, for taming, did not establish the basis of learning for the Shravakas. The Buddha Bhagavan was staying in Vaishali, in the multi-storied pavilion by the Monkey Pool. The group of six dressed in lower garments in the morning. Carrying bowls and Dharma robes, they entered Vaishali for alms. In the middle of the road, there were pleasure gardens of the Licchavis of Vaishali, and they said: Friend Nede, the Bhagavan took the example of the Licchavis of Vaishali from the thirty-three gods, let's go see what their pleasure gardens are like, and as soon as they entered there. How many kinds of utensils are there? Like this, there are bathing groves, bricks, ointments, toys, sugar, myrobalan, things for washing the head, pippali, turmeric, mahati, valerian, sukoshaka, etc. Having seen them placed, they said: Friend Nede, should we bathe first? Or should we sing and dance? They said: We haven't sung and danced for a long time, let's sing and dance, so they started singing and dancing. The sound of musical instruments used in King Suddhodana's pleasure garden was like the sound of musical instruments used on the battlefield by King Ajatashatru, born in Magadha with a tall body, and they began to make the sound of musical instruments, and the Licchavis of Vaishali heard it. Having heard it, they panicked and said: Wise ones, the patricide has launched an army without uniting, so they put on their armor and prepared to go out.

They played. The group of six monks also came out from that nurturing garden, and when they saw the Licchavis of Vaishali dividing their possessions and coming out, the group of six monks asked them: "Wise ones, where are you going?" They said: "Here comes the father-killer, we are going there to fight with him." "Where is he?" They said: "Here comes the sound of musical instruments used on the battlefield of King Ajatasattu, the son of the noble body, born in Magadha." "Wise ones, that was our laughter, are you so afraid?" They said: "Venerable ones, did your musical instruments make a sound?" The group of six monks said: "We made a sound." They said: "Venerable ones, if the Licchavis of Vaishali are frightened and harm you, it would be bad, go back." They went back, and the monks said to them: "Venerable ones, why did you go back?" The group of six monks said: "Venerable ones, we are killing gods." "Who is killing?" "The Licchavis of Vaishali are killing." "Why?" They explained the situation in detail, and the monks with few desires scolded them, saying: "Monks, why do you do such unseemly things?" They condemned and reviled them. At that time, the monks reported to the Blessed One. Then, because of this event, this origin, this situation, the Blessed One convened the monastic community of monks, and so on, as before. The Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, knowingly commit offenses, and so on, as before. The Buddha, the Blessed One, rebuked the group of six monks: "Monks, is it true that you have done such an unseemly thing?" "Venerable ones, it is true." The Buddha, the Blessed One, rebuked them, saying: "This is not the behavior of a monk, it is not in accordance, it is not proper, it is not in accordance with the rules, this is not something that a renunciant should do." Then, after rebuking them in various ways, the Blessed One said to the monks: "Monks, therefore, you must truly see the ten benefits, therefore you must subdue yourselves."
