因为无力（阻止），心想如果这些人加害于我，那可不行啊，便害怕地逃走了。六群比丘每天都到那家主的家里去吃喝。另一次，那家主在另一处山岩有事，便对六群比丘说：圣者们，我在另一处山岩有点事情，我要去那里。你们就像在我家一样地吃喝，直到我回来。六群比丘说：就这么办。那家主对家人说：你们就像对待圣者们一样地侍奉，直到我回来。他去了那处山岩后，六群比丘每天都到那里去，像往常一样地吃喝，他们说道：朋友，亲爱的，我们还要用别人的行为来约束自己多久啊？应该展示自己的行为了。他们说道：就这么办吧。朋友，亲爱的，看看这女人的眼睛啊，耳朵啊，牙齿啊，嘴唇啊，乳房啊，腰啊，大腿啊，脚啊，多么美丽啊，看看啊！那女人感到羞愧，便进入房间里坐着。那家主也从那处山岩回来了，他问家人：你们供养布施处，他们像往常一样吃喝了吗？她说：像这样的布施处，根本没有，简直就是人渣！我从乞丐、乐师和戏子那里，也从未听到过像你这些布施处所说的话。那家主心想：女人的心思都在男人身上，如果进来的是裸体外道，看到那些，就会生起贪恋。而对于世尊的声闻弟子，穿着整齐的下裙，穿着整齐的法衣，她是不喜欢的。于是他对她说：你喜欢裸体外道，怎么会喜欢世尊的声闻弟子，穿着整齐的下裙，穿着整齐的法衣呢？妻子说：王子的儿子，如果你不相信我，我就在你面前做给你看。

Another time, that householder had some business at another rock cliff, so he said to the group of six monks: "Venerable ones, I have some business at another rock cliff, so I will go there. You should eat and drink as you do at my house, until I return." The group of six monks said: "So be it." That householder said to his family: "You should serve the venerable ones as you have done, until I return." After he went to that rock cliff, the group of six monks went there every day, and as usual, they ate and drank, and they said: "Friend, dear friend, how long will we have to restrain ourselves with the behavior of others? We should show our own behavior." They said: "So be it." "Friend, dear friend, look at this woman's eyes, ears, teeth, lips, breasts, waist, thighs, and feet, how beautiful! Look!" That woman felt ashamed and went into the room and sat down. That householder also came back from that rock cliff, and he asked his family: "Did you offer to the alms-givers, and did they eat and drink as usual?" She said: "There are no alms-givers like these, they are simply scum! I have never heard words like those spoken by your alms-givers, not even from beggars, musicians, or actors." That householder thought: "Women's minds are on men, so if naked heretics came in, seeing those, she would become attached. But she doesn't like the Buddha's disciples, wearing neatly arranged lower robes and neatly arranged Dharma robes." So he said to her: "You like naked heretics, how could you like the Buddha's disciples, wearing neatly arranged lower robes and neatly arranged Dharma robes?" The wife said: "Prince's son, if you don't believe me, I will do it in front of you."

屋主心想：应该逐渐减少供养。于是过了几天，他对六群比丘说：诸位尊者，我有些事情要去那边的山岩，我要去那里。你们在我家像平时一样接受供养，直到我回来。六群比丘说：好的，就这么办。屋主回到屋内坐下，六群比丘也同样进入他家坐下。屋主的妻子开始为他们准备食物。六群比丘说：朋友，亲爱的朋友，看看这位女人的眼睛、耳朵、牙齿、嘴唇、乳房、腰部、大腿和脚多么美丽啊！屋主听到这些话后心想：如果我立刻断绝他们的供养，这不符合我的风格，我应该想个办法。于是他那天减少了一份食物。六群比丘说：朋友，亲爱的朋友，供养减少了。他们说：有寿命的人啊，我们这些饿肚子的人，本来应该供养一份食物，但从今天起就不能供养了。第二天，他又减少了第二份食物。他们说：朋友，亲爱的朋友，供养减少了。他们说：有寿命的人啊，我们把另一份食物扔到钵的下面，但从今天起也不能扔了。就这样，逐渐地，他开始供养粗糙的米饭和煮烂的粗粮。他们说：朋友，亲爱的朋友，供养减少了。又说：这是怎么回事？我们走过成百上千的门也很难填饱肚子，现在我们在这里，在阴凉的地方坐着，难道连粗糙的米饭和煮烂的粗粮都不愿意要吗？一个裸体外道转来转去，看到那些裸体外道，就说：有知识的人啊，你们抢夺了我们的供养，滚开！他们说：你抛弃了自己的住处，来这里干什么？他说：我被那里赶出来了。谁赶的？释迦子弟的修行者们。他们说：释迦子弟的修行者

When the householder heard these words, he thought: If I cut off their offerings immediately, it would not be in my style, I should think of a way. So that day he reduced one portion of food. The group of six monks said: Friend, dear friend, the offering has been reduced. They said: O long-lived ones, we hungry people, who should have been given one portion of food, but from today onwards, it cannot be given. The next day, he reduced the second portion of food. They said: Friend, dear friend, the offering has been reduced. They said: O long-lived ones, we used to throw another portion of food under the bowl, but from today onwards, it cannot be thrown away either. In this way, gradually, he began to offer coarse rice and boiled coarse grains. They said: Friend, dear friend, the offering has been reduced. Again they said: How is this? Even if we pass through hundreds of doors, it is difficult to fill our stomachs. Now that we are here, sitting in the cool shade, do you not even want coarse rice and boiled coarse grains? A naked ascetic wandered around and saw those naked ascetics, and said: Knowledgeable ones, you have robbed our offerings, get out!
