ང་རབ་ཏུ་མང་པོ་དག་དོན་མཐུན་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་ལྗོངས་རྒྱུར་དོང་བ་ན་རི་བྲགས་ཤིག་ཏུ་ཕྱིན་ནས། དེ་དག་གིས་རི་བྲགས་དེར་གནས་བཅའ་བར་བརྩམས་པ་དང་། རི་བྲགས་དེ་ན་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་ཞིག་ཡོད་ནས་དེ་ན་དེ་དག་ལ་མི་ཞིག་གིས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་དག་ཁྱེད་ཅག་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དུ་མི་གནས་སམ། བཞིན་བཟངས་མི་གནས་ཏེ་ཁོ་བོ་ཅག་ནི་དོན་མཐུན་ལ་རག་ལས་པ་ཡིན་པས། གལ་ཏེ་ཁོ་བོ་ཅག་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དུ་གནས་པར་གྱུར་ན་དོན་མཐུན་གྱིས་ཁོ་བོ་ཅག་བོར་ཏེ་འགྲོ་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེས་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་དག་བཞུད་ལ་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དུ་གཟིམས་ཤིག་དང་། དོན་མཐུན་ཆ་བའི་དུས་ཀྱི་ཚེ་བདག་གིས་འཕགས་པ་དག་བསླང་བར་བགྱིའོ། །དེ་དག་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དུ་དོང་སྟེ་གནས་མལ་བཤམས་ནས་ཉལ་བ་དང་། དོན་མཐུན་ཆས་ཏེ། གླང་ཐ་མ་བཀལ་ཟིན་པ་དང་། དེ་ནས་མི་དེ་སད་ནས་དེ་སོང་སྟེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། འཕགས་པ་དག་དོན་མཐུན་ཆས་ཀྱིས་མྱུར་དུ་སྤྱོན་ཅིག། དེ་དག་ཇི་སྲིད་དུ་ལག་པ་དག་བསྙལ་བར་བྱེད། སོ་ཤིང་དག་འདོར་བར་བྱེད། གནས་མལ་དག་གཏོང་བར་བྱེད་པ་དེ་སྲིད་དུ་དོན་མཐུན་ཐལ་བར་གྱུར་ནས། དེ་དག་ཕྱི་བཞིན་འབྲང་ཞིང་འདོང་བ་ན་ཆོམ་རྐུན་པ་དག་གིས་བཅོམ་པར་གྱུར་ནས་དེ་དག་མཐར་གྱིས་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དུ་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་། དེ་དག་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་མཐོང་ནས་སྨྲས་པ། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་དག་འོངས་པ་ལེགས་སོ་འོངས་པ་ལེགས་སོ། །ཇི་ལྟ་བདེ་བར་བརྒྱུས་སམ། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་དག་བདེ་བར་བརྒྱུས་རེ་སྐན། ཅི་ཉེས། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་དག་ཁོ་བོ་ཅག་ཆོམ་རྐུན་པ་དག་གིས་བཅོམ་མོ་ཞེས་ཟེར་བའི་སྐབས་དེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་གསོལ་པ་དང་། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ། དགེ་སློང་འཁོད་པ་དག་ལ་བཅོལ་བར་བྱའོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགེ་སློང་འཁོད་པ་དག་ལ་བཅོལ་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ནས། མཉན་ཡོད་ན་ཁྱིམ་བདག་གཉིས་ ཤིག་འཁོད་པ་དེ་གཉིས་ཕན་ཚུན་ཁོན་ཡོད་ཅིང་གཅིག་ནི་དད་པ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ཡིན་ལ། གཅིག་ནི་མ་དད་པ་ཡིན་ནས། དད་པ་ཅན་གྱིས་བསམས་པ། ཁོན་སྤེལ་བས་ཅི་བྱ་སྟེ། ཁོན་ཞི་བར་བྱས་སོང་ལ་རབ་ཏུ་འབྱུང་བར་བྱའོ་སྙམ་ནས་དེ་རྒྱལ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཚལ་དུ་སོང་སྟེ་དགེ་སློང་གི་གན་དུ་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ངོ་། །ཁྱིམ་བདག་མ་དད་པ་ཤོས་དེས་མི་ཞིག་ལ་དྲིས་པ། བཞིན་བཟངས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་ཆེ་གེ་མོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་དེ་གར་སོང་། དེས་སྨྲས་པ། རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ངོ་། །གང་དུ། ཤཱཀྱའི་བུའི་དགེ་སྦྱོང་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ནང་དུའོ། །ཅི་དེ་མི་འཇིགས་པའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཡིན་ནམ། ཁོ་བོ་དེར་ཡང་སོང་ལ་དེ་ལ་གནོད་པར་བྱའོ། །འཇིག་རྟེན་ནི་མཛའ་བཤེས་དང་། དགྲ་བོ་དང་། ཐ་མལ་པ་ཡིན་པས་གཞན་ཞིག་དེའི་གན་དུ་སོང་སྟེ་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱོད་ལ་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེ་གཤེའོ། །དེས་བསམས་པ། བདག་ཉེས་དམིགས་གང་གིས་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བའི་ཉེས་དམིགས་དེ་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་རྗེས་སུ་འབྲེལ་ཏོ་སྙམ་ནས་དེ་མཁན་པོའི་དྲུང་དུ་སོང་སྟེ། སྨྲས་པ། མཁན་པོ་བདག་ཉེས་དམིགས་གང་གིས་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་བའི་ཉེས་དམིགས་དེ་ཉིད་ཀྱིས་རྗེས་སུ་འབྲེལ་བར་གྱུར་གྱིས་མཆིའོ། །བུ་གང་དུ་འགྲོ། རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ཏུའོ། །དེ་ལྟར་གྱིས་ཤིག །དེ་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ཏུ་འཕགས་པ་དང་། ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེ་ཡང་རྒྱལ་བྱེད་ཀྱི་ཚལ་དུ་འོངས་ནས་དགེ་སློང་ལ་དྲིས་པ། འཕགས་པ་ཁྱིམ་བདག་འདི་ཞེས་བགྱི་བ་དེ་ཅི་རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ངམ། རབ་ཏུ་བྱུང་ངོ་། །དེ་གར་མཆིས། རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ཏུ་སོང་ངོ་། །དེས་བསམས་པ། ཅི་དེ་མི་འཇིགས་པའི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་ཡིན་ནམ། བདག་དེར་ཡང་སོང་ལ་དེ་ལ་མཚམས་གཅད་པར་བྱའོ་སྙམ་ནས་དེ་ཡང་རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ཏུ་འཕགས་སོ། །དགེ་སློང་ནི་དུས་སུ་འགྲོ་ཞིང་དུས་མ་ཡིན་པར་མི་འགྲོ་ལ། ཁྱིམ་པ་ནི་དུས་སུ་ཡང་འགྲོ། དུས་མ་ཡིན་པར་ཡང་འགྲོ་བས་དགེ་སློང་དེ་རི་བྲགས་ཀྱི་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་ཞིག་ཏུ་ཞུགས་པ་དང་། ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་མཐོང་ནས་དེས་བསམས་པ། གལ་ཏེ་བདག་གིས་འདི་ལ་ཅུང་ཟད་སྨྲ་བའི་རིགས་ན་འདིའི་གྲོགས་དགེ་སློང་དག་མང་བས་བདག་ལ་གནོད་པ་ བྱེད་པར་འགྱུར་གྱིས་བདག་གིས་སང་འདི་ཤེས་པར་བྱའོ་སྙམ་མོ། །དགེ་སློང་དེ་ཡང་ནང་པར་སྔར་ལངས་ཏེ་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་དག་བདག་འགྲོས་གནས་མལ་འདེ་རེ་ཞེས་གནས་མལ་གཏད་པ་དང་། དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་སྨྲས་པ། ཁྱོད་གར་འགྲོ། རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ཏུའོ། །ཚེ་དང་ལྡན་པ་ལམ་འདི་ནི་དོགས་པ་དང་བཅས་པ་ཡིན་གྱིས་འདི་ནས་མ་འགྲོ་ཤིག །འདི་ནི་ལམ་གཞན་ཡིན་གྱིས་དེ་ནས་སོང་ཞིག །དེ་ལམ་དེ་ནས་སོང་བ་དང་། ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེ་ཡང་ནང་པར་སྔར་ལངས་ནས་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་དུ་སོང་སྟེ་དགེ་སློང་ལ་དྲིས་པ། འཕགས་པ་དགེ་སློང་འདི་ཞེས་བགྱི་བ་གར་མཆིས། རྒྱལ་པོའི་ཁབ་ཏུའོ། །ཤུལ་གང་ནས། ཆེ་གེ་མོ་ཞིག་ནས་སོ། །དེ་དེའི་ཕྱི་བཞིན་སོང་བ་དང་། དགེ་སློང་དེས་དེ་མཐོང་ནས་དེས་དེ་ལ་སྨྲས་པ། བཞིན་བཟངས་ཁོན་ཞི་བར་གྱུར་ཅིག །དེས་སྨྲས་པ། ད་ཞི་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་ཁྱིམ་བདག་དེས་དགེ་སློང་དེ་ཤིན་ཏུ་བརྡེག་བརྡེག་ནས་ལྷུང་བཟེད་ཀྱང་བཅག །ཆོས་གོས་དག་ཀྱང་དྲལ་ཏེ་ཐ་མ་མ་ཤི་

我等众多之人与商队一同游历时，去到一座山岩处。他们开始在那山岩处安顿下来。那山岩处有一座精舍，在那里，有人对他们说：圣者们，你们不住在精舍里吗？贤善之人不住，因为我们依赖于商队。如果我等住在精舍里，商队就会舍弃我等而离去。他说：圣者们，请进精舍休息，商队出发之时，我将唤醒圣者们。他们进入精舍，铺设好住处便睡下了。商队出发了，最后一头牛也装载完毕。之后，那人醒来，前去对众比丘说：圣者们，商队出发了，请迅速动身！他们直到洗手，丢弃漱口木，收拾住处时，商队已经走远了。他们随后追赶，在行走时遭到盗贼的抢劫，最终他们来到了精舍。众比丘见到他们，说道：具寿们，来得好啊，来得好啊！一路平安吗？具寿们，我们一路平安。有什么不幸吗？具寿们，我们被盗贼抢劫了。当时，众比丘向世尊禀告此事，世尊开示说：应委托给安住的比丘们。世尊开示说应委托给安住的比丘们之后，在舍卫城有两位居士，他们彼此有仇恨，其中一位具有信心，另一位没有信心。具有信心者心想：争斗有什么用呢？不如平息仇恨，出家修行。于是他前往祇陀林，在比丘处出家了。没有信心的居士问一个人：贤善之人，某某居士去哪里了？那人说：出家了。在哪里？在释迦子弟的沙门中。难道他不在无畏城吗？

When many of us were traveling with a caravan, we went to a rock mountain. They began to settle down at that rock mountain. There was a monastery at that rock mountain, and there someone said to them: "Noble ones, do you not reside in the monastery?" The virtuous ones do not reside there, because we depend on the caravan. If we were to reside in the monastery, the caravan would abandon us and leave. He said: "Noble ones, please enter the monastery and rest, and when it is time for the caravan to depart, I will awaken the noble ones." They entered the monastery, prepared their dwellings, and lay down to sleep. The caravan departed, and the last ox was loaded. Then, that person woke up, went and said to the monks: "Noble ones, the caravan has departed, please depart quickly!" By the time they had washed their hands, discarded their toothpicks, and cleared their dwellings, the caravan had gone far away. As they followed behind and walked, they were robbed by thieves, and eventually they arrived at the monastery. The monks saw them and said: "Venerable ones, welcome, welcome! Did you travel in peace?" "Venerable ones, we traveled in peace, but what misfortune!" "Venerable ones, we were robbed by thieves." At that time, the monks reported this matter to the Blessed One, and the Blessed One instructed: "It should be entrusted to the resident monks." After the Blessed One instructed that it should be entrusted to the resident monks, in Shravasti there were two householders who had enmity towards each other, one of whom had faith and the other did not. The one with faith thought: "What is the use of prolonging the feud? I should rather pacify the feud and go forth into homelessness." So he went to Jeta Grove and went forth into homelessness in the presence of a monk. The householder who lacked faith asked someone: "Virtuous one, where has so-and-so householder gone?" He said: "He has gone forth into homelessness." "Where?" "Among the Shramanas, the sons of the Shakya." "Is he not in Abhayapura?

He arrived at Rajagriha, and that householder also came to the Bamboo Grove Monastery and asked the monk, "Venerable, has this person called a householder been ordained?" "He has been ordained." "Where is he?" "He has gone to Rajagriha." He thought, "Is that the city of no fear? I will go there too and impose a boundary on him." So he also arrived at Rajagriha. The monk goes at the right time and does not go at the wrong time, but the householder goes both at the right time and at the wrong time, so that monk entered a monastery in a mountain rock, and that householder saw him and thought, "If I say something bad about him, his monk friends are many and will harm me, I will know him tomorrow." That monk also got up early the next morning and said to the monks, "Venerable ones, I entrust my dwelling place to you." The monks said, "Where are you going?" "To Rajagriha." "Venerable one, this road is dangerous, do not go from here. This is another road, go from there." He went from that road, and that householder also got up early the next morning and went to the monastery and asked the monk, "Venerable, where is this monk?" "He has gone to Rajagriha." "From which road?" "From such and such road." He followed him, and that monk saw him and said to him, "Good face, let the hatred subside!" He said, "Now it will subside," and the householder beat that monk very hard, even breaking his bowl and tearing his robes, but he did not die in the end.
