The group of six (bhikkhus) said: 'Even though we have spent so much of the Brahmin's wealth in that way, he still gave each of us a large Sarpa cloth and also provided all kinds of supplies, so we have developed great faith in the Brahmin.' Those bhikkhus with few desires scolded, ridiculed, and slandered, saying: 'Why do bhikkhus boast about the very limbs that they should be ashamed of?' At that time, the bhikkhus reported this matter to the Blessed One. Then, because of this event, this origin, and this circumstance, the Blessed One convened the bhikkhu sangha, etc., as before. The Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, knowingly commit offenses, etc., also as before. The Buddha, the Blessed One, rebuked the group of six (bhikkhus): 'Bhikkhus, is it true that you have done such an unseemly thing?' Answer: 'Yes, Blessed One.' The Buddha, the Blessed One, rebuked: 'That is very unseemly!' Then, after rebuking in various ways, the Blessed One said to the bhikkhus: 'Bhikkhus, therefore, in order to truly see the ten benefits, a training rule should be established for the hearers in the Vinaya,' etc., as before. My hearers should recite the training rule in the Vinaya in this way: If a bhikkhu is to build a large monastery, starting from observing the position of the door frame, the latch, and the windows, at most two or three layers of brick walls with mud can be built. The monks asked the Buddha, the Bhagavan: Venerable Shariputra prevented the venerable Sangha from appointing someone as an administrator. The Buddha said: Monks, it is not only now, but in the past he also prevented the king from being crowned, listen to this. Monks, in the past, in the hail of the snowy mountains, a large group of birds gathered, and their bird king was ripe for the time, They began to harm each other. They said: Sages, who among us can punish us with punishment and benefit us with benefits? Let's choose a bird king.
